Computation of relative function of kydney at dynamic scintigraphy - influence of time period applied for computation.

The topic of my bachelor thesis is a computation of relative renal function at dynamic scintigraphy and an influence of the time period applied for computation. The main aim of the thesis is to establish if the usage of two different time periods for computation of relative function of kidneys at dynamic scintigraphy of kidneys has any influence on computed function. Precisely, whether the choice of time period affects the result of processing the study is acquired by dynamic scintigraphy of kidneys. Expressed hypothesis assumes that time periods between 60s and 180s which were chosen for the calculation have not the influence on calculated relative function. Dynamic scintigraphy of kidneys enabling to display function of kidney´s ability to clean blood from the observed substance and consider possible defect of kidney excretion, it is the important method of examination mainly by children patients which are the vast majority of examined patients. For the hypothesis confirmation, there was created a reference file. This file consists of children patients who were examined by dynamic scintigraphy of kidneys in the Department of Nuclear Medicine Hospital in Czech Budejovice. With a help of program of dynamic scintigraphy the relative function of kidney was computed and defined by the percentage portion of each kidney on the whole renal function. The different time periods were used for the function curve for the computation. The function curve is designed like a graph from the marked region of interest and it is the result of computer processing data which were obtained from the scintigraphic study. From obtained values, the tested criteria are subsequently determined by statistical calculations they are confirmed and given as a zero hypothesis.

Isolation and characterisation of biologically active substances

This Bachelor thesis aims at isolation and partial identification of biologically active substances which are produced by actinomycetes and can be potentially applied in medicine. Cultivation broths of actinomycetes containing their metabolites were purified and pre-concentrated by solid phase extraction. Then, the bioassay of the extracts by Kirby-Bauer test using the sensitive strain Kocuria rhizophila was performed. Biologically active metabolites were analyzed and isolated by ultra- performance liquid chromatography with photo diode array detector. Isolated substances were assayed by mass spectrometry, which yielded relative molecular mass values of the unknown compounds. The values were compared with relative molecular masses of compounds listed in a chemical database, which involves natural products including antibiotics. We revealed that the unknown biologically active substances do not refer to any already discovered compound present in the database suggesting that the unknown compounds may be novel. More mass spectrometry and nuclear resonance experiments have to be carried out in order to elucidate their structure. Activities of a Hospice Pastoral Worker

The bachelor ́s work with the topic "Activities of A Hospice Pastoral Worker" tries to show indispensability of a pastoral worker in a multidisciplinary team looking after patients in a hospice. It refers to literature concerning the subject, and to personal experience of the author. The work is divided into six sections. The first of these explains and clarifies some basic conceptions mentioned in the work. The second section focuses on legal regulations and agreements in healthcare pastoral work. The third section is the largest and describes work of a hospice pastoral worker. There are four characteristic domains E work with patients, with their family and friends, with hospice staff, and with surviving relatives. An essential topic are spiritual needs of patients, described in the fourth chapter. The fifth section focuses on tools of a pastoral worker, which are also very important. At the end of the bachelor ́s work there is a chapter concerning the topic of death. Resume Registered capital of a capital company and its creation and protection The dissertation work deals with one of the most important institutes of contemporary company law which is registered capital of a capital company and its creation and protection. The institute of registered capital has developed in historical consequences and still develops. The ideas of the registered capital of a joint stock company and its creation and protection as well as the ideas of functions which registered capital should undertake inside and outside the company and principles which should be followed for this purpose have stabilized within the European (continental) legal culture in an opinion scheme which can be generally called "a doctrine about a creation and maintenance of registered capital". The principles undertaken by this doctrine are anchored in the laws of the countries of the European (continental) legal culture mainly by cogent rules of law. The aforesaid doctrine has been a subject of polemic at the experts level and there has long time been an endeavour about a revision of this relatively stable system with reference to its imperfections. The concept and legal consequences of exceeding the scope of self-defence and necessity

Excessive Use of Force in Self-defence and Necessity - the term and legal implications This work is submitted as a Master thesis on the Charles University in Prague, Faculty of Law. It deals with the use of excessive force in self-defence and necessity, the terms used to evaluate such excess and the implications that it has in the Czech law and in some common law jurisdictions, namely in the Irish republic. In the introductory chapters I have described the general meaning and the use of self-defence and necessity in the Czech legal doctrine. What follows are the limitations placed on these defences under the Czech Criminal Code. Then I went on to explain the specifics of excessive use of force in situations where there was some necessity to use force, but the force actually used did not fit within the relatively broad boundaries of the Czech reasonableness test. The terms used in this context are also defined and the legal implications of such an excess are further elaborated on. I have briefly referred to the changes proposed by the new Criminal Law Bill. Designing mass modification of client contact records and theirs consolidation within financial institution

This master thesis deals with management request towards informatics department within front company that provides wide range of financial services. Demand refers to client contact data, particularly correspondence addresses and calls for possibility to mass change such records. There are several relatively separated tasks which need to be discussed in order to fulfill the request. First part introduces the company and analyze current situation. Then continue by describing correspondence addresses issue and supports with reasons for the inevitable change. Company's information system architecture is outlined with emphasis on central database that is being formed. This part also further describes options how data can be stored. Middle part contains reason--based choice where correspondence records should be maintained in company's data architecture. Implementation plan with chosen storage pattern is formed here and connected changes in system are highlighted. As a last processes connected to correspondence addresses mass modification are described and drawn with selected notation. After that user graphic interface is designed as a place where the self request will be served.

Health protection at work, legislative measures

The care about safe labour belongs among basic attributes in educated and human society. This area is regulated by state in all advanced countries, whereas a law imposes duties for employers and also for employees. Relatively big attention is devoted to this problem in the Czech Republic and so the care about employees is at a very good level. As has been already said protection of health at work is based on valid legislation first of all. That is why this bachelor's work follows valid legislation of course and each chapter goes out from legal rule. There are number of legal rules about labour safety and health protection, I mentioned only part of the most important rules in the beginning of this work. Particular topics are processed in detail in next chapters, which refer to risks at work, duties for employers, but also for employees, personal protective equipments, work accidents, works preventive care and no less important preventive measures, government control and supervisory power of labour unions. I variegated the chapter about work accidents of some statistic facts. The prevention is very important in the branch of health protection. Tyto dva typy jsou v lingvisticke literature chapany jako temer kontradiktorni: jsou tedy pevne a ostfe vymezeny. Ve vymezeni vzta.znych vet do dvou typu ma nejdulezitejsi roli semanticky vztah mezi antecedentem a vztaznou vetou: vztazna veta je restriktivni, je-li nutna pro jednoznacne vymezeni sveho antecedenta, nebo nerestriktivni, pokud pridava dalSi semanticky rys antecedentu, jehoz identita je jiz znama. V kategorii vztaznych vet nerestriktivnich nektei'i lingviste (Jespersen) vymezuji daISi tridu vet: vety kontinuativni, tedy vety, jejichz slovesny cas je postreriorni casu v hlavni vete. Social and legal status of persons with health disabilities

The very thesis is divided into theoretical and practical part. The theoretical part of the thesis at the very beginning focused on the social history of people with certain disabilities. Continues thesis definition and characteristics of disability and its exact breakdown. The next chapter deals with the analysis of contemporary society in the area of discrimination against persons with disabilities and points to the possibility of employment in the labor market just people with disabilities. A relatively large part of the thesis is devoted to the concept of disability, then the conditions for entitlement to a disability pension and social benefits, especially for people with disabilities. The next part refers to various non-profit organizations Conclusion itself thesis is devoted to legislation related to social assistance to disabled persons. The practical part is based on a questionnaire survey forms and personal interviews. The text part is supported by graphs, tables and streamline the survey results further illustrative photographs of people with disabilities.
