Schacherl, Norbert ; Mejdrech, Vlastimil (advisor) ; Chaluš, Petr (referee)
The topic of the diploma work is the use of modern methods in the management of stock. Stock represents very important part of the company's economy; its right level contributes to the increase of competitiveness of the company. The diploma work states the theoretical basis for management of stock and analyzes in detail the chosen methods -- kanban a Just-In-Sequence, which is often understood as a next step in implementation of the pull principle -- consumption manager inventory. The main aim of the work is the analysis of definition of the stock for the system of kanban and Just-In-Sequence and definition which effect have it's parts on the stock. According to a target of the work a hypothesis was defined. The right implementation of kanban, or Just-In-Sequence and incidence on it's parts contributes to a reduction of stock. The practical part of the work analyzes in detail the formulas of calculation of the stock in the system of kanban, it's factors are simulated and the level of stock examined. Accordingly, the comparison of the system of kanban and Just-In-Sequence is provided. In the end of the work the recommendations for implementation of kanban and Just-In-Sequence are made. Also the successfulness of the implementation of new methods in the defined company is evaluated and recommendations are prepared.

Gallium complexes for molecular imaging of bone tissue
Holub, Jan ; Kubíček, Vojtěch (advisor) ; Vojtíšek, Pavel (referee)
Title: Gallium Complexes for Molecular Imaging of Bone Tissue Author: Bc. Jan Holub Department of Inorganic Chemistry, Faculty of Science, Charles University Supervisor: RNDr. Vojtěch Kubíček, PhD. Supervisor's Email address: kubicek@natur.cuni.cz ABSTRACT This thesis is focused on preparing new ligands for selective complexation of gallium, which might serve as potential radiopharmaceuticals for 68 Ga-PET bone imaging. Two new ligands were prepared, combining 1,4,7-triazacyclonone-1,4-diacetic acid macrocyclic skeleton and bis(phosphonate) pendant arm, bound to the remaining free nitrogen atom on the macrocycle. Macrocyclic skeleton is responsible for high kinetic and thermodynamic stability of the Ga3+ complex and the bis(phosphonate) pendant arm insures selective delivery of the complex to the bone tissue. Both new ligands were fully characterized by NMR and mass spectroscopy. Complexation of Ga3+ was studied by 31 P and 71 Ga NMR spectroscopy. Binding to bone tissue was simulated by adsorption of the complexes to hydroxoapatite. Radiochemical experiments including study of 68 Ga complexation kinetics and basic in-vivo experiments including biodistribution studies and PET examination were done in cooperation with Johannes-Gutenberg Universität Mainz in Germany. Data obtained from these experiments were...

The mathematical theory of juggling
Búzik, Michal ; Slavík, Antonín (advisor) ; Karger, Adolf (referee)
Title: The mathematical theory of juggling Author: Michal Búzik Department: Department of Mathematics Education Supervisor: RNDr. Antonín Slavík, Ph.D. Abstract: This bachelor thesis is concerned with methods of mathematical descrip- tion of juggling. The main part deals with notation of simulation of throwing balls using integer sequences, so-called siteswaps. It indicates generating, mutual relations and ways of graphic interpretation of these sequences in diagrams. Summarized re- sults with generalization of all possible calculations of juggling sequences according to restrictive aspects are provided in this thesis. Beside usage of combinatorics and graph theory, there are also relations between juggling and braid theory, and change ringing interpreted. Keywords: juggling, sequence, siteswap

Meaning of life logotherapy way and its aplication in social pedagogic
Španihelová, Lenka ; Lorenzová, Jitka (advisor) ; Krykorková, Hana (referee)
The thesis has a theoretical character. It is divided into three main chapters. The first chapter focuses on the social pedagogy as an individual subject. It deals with the history of the assisting professions and continues with the history of the social pedagogy. It turns then to a professionalism of a social pedagogue and her competence. On the end of the first chapter author finds that social pedagogy is an independent subject and it has its place among the other assisting professions. Second chapter focuses on logotherapy. It deals with theoretical and philosophical starting-points of logotherapy. It also introduces the methods of work used in logotherapy. Conclusion of the second chapter deals with values in life as the foundation for specification of the meaning of life. The last chapter is about the meaning of life from the perspective of logotheraphy. This part deals with the meaning of life in psychology and religion, and subsequently with the meaning of life in the logotherapy itself. Author is also pointing out the relations between the meaning of life and delight, success and hope. The end of this chapter is dedicated to the human motivation to moral values. The whole chapter focuses on the particular aspects of the meaning of life and their implantation in the social pedagogy.

Segmental structure of Mandarin syllable
Třísková, Hana ; Heřmanová, Zdenka (advisor) ; Volín, Jan (referee) ; Uher, David (referee)
This dissertation concerns itself with the segmental syllable of Mandarin, i.e., of standard Chinese as codified in P.R.C. and known as putonghua. While it leaves aside the aspect of tone it explores all major topics related to the phonological and phonetic description of the isolated Mandarin segmental syllable and the ways in which they are treated in broad literature, both Chinese and Western. We approach the subject from the perspective of teaching Chinese as a second language (TCSL), where mastering the syllabary (cca 400 segmental syllables, 1300 tonic syllables) represents a crucial basic step. Poor command of the pronunciation of isolated syllables will inevitably have a detrimental effect on the spoken language competence of a student. Because the pinyin romanization system (developed in P.R.C., officially approved in 1958) assumedly is the only feasible phonological system for the paedagogical purposes, the present dissertation does not aspire to establish any new phonological interpretation of the Mandarin syllable (although some attempts will be made). After making a broad comparison of existing analyses and their pros and cons, we strive to explore the solutions most convenient for the purposes of teaching pronunciation.Along with accepting pinyin as a phonological background, we advocate for a...

Digital Reconstructed Radiography
Chovanec, Andrej ; Krajíček, Václav (referee) ; Pelikán, Josef (advisor)
X-ray examination is an important part of the medical treatment. Despite all the advantages it introduces, it brings some limitations as well. In the present work we describe a technique that from the acquired CT data reconstructs a digital x-ray image and removes some drawbacks of traditional x-ray screening. Among the most significant improvements over the classical radiography belong generation of the screen from very arbitrary angle and interactive rotation of the image in real-time. In order to obtain the most realistic final image, we put the emphasis on the accurate simulation of physical properties of the x-ray radiation. We also try to get as low computational time needed to gain one image as possible. For this purpose we present a parallelization model that decomposes the required work of some components into several processors' cores and thus noticeably decreases the running time of the algorithm.

Automatic combinations of feature templates
Dubovský, Jakub ; Vidová Hladká, Barbora (referee) ; Novák, Václav (advisor)
Searching for useful combinations of features and feature templates is not a simple task. Though combination is valuable tool for increasing accuracy of machine learning. This paper tries to suggest an algorithm for automatic search for useful combinations of categorical features and their templates. An attempt to use simulated annealing and modified genetic algorithm for search process is studied. Construction of evaluation function for assessing categorical feature template is present as well. Features and feature templates are combined separately and together. The best increase of accuracy reached by suggested procedures on datasets used is around 0.1 percentage points. Experiments were made just on two datasets. Thus further testing of algorithm on other datasets is needed to verify its usefulness in general. However experiments indicate that it can be considered as a base of usable algorithm. Simple command-line application is part of work. It was developed and used for experimentation.

How to teach philosophy at secondary schools? A contribution to the didactics of philosophy.
Šebešová, Petra ; Strouhal, Martin (advisor) ; Pelcová, Naděžda (referee) ; Pavličíková, Helena (referee)
Title: How to teach philosophy at secondary schools? A contribution to the didactics of philosophy Author: Mgr. Petra Šebešová Abstract: The thesis presents a first attempt to propose a complete didactic conception of philosophy education at secondary schools in the Czech Republic. The author thus responds to the unsatisfactory correspondence between the key competences and the content of the teaching subject area called Civics and the introduction to social sciences as they are defined in the Czech curricular documents for secondary schools, as well as she responds to the lack of Czech literature concerning the didactics of philosophy. The development of students'philosophical thinking is taken as the main teaching aim of the presented conception. This claim is supported by arguments based on the specific nature of philosophy and on literature on didactics of philosophy from abroad. Philosophical thinking is for teaching purposes divided into the following philosophical competencies: text understanding and interpretation, text writing, discussion, work with concepts, argumentation, problem solving, reflection (including critical examination and evaluation), responsible decision-making and action. These competencies are elaborated into partial skills enabling their gradual training. Means recommended for...
