Stress-strain analysis of the safety frame of the racing car
Kolivošková, Veronika ; Man, Vojtěch (referee) ; Novák, Kamil (advisor)
Topic of this bachelor thesis is the recherché and following deformation-stress analysis of the race car safety cage. This thesis is divided into three parts. The first one is about the introduction of analysis itself and the FIA regulations for homologation static load tests of the race car safety constructions. The second part describes analytical and numerical approach to the deformation-stress solution of a main arch in historical formula 1 car Ferrari 1512. The outputs of these two approaches which were then compared to determine their accuracy and result verification. On this example was executed the contact analysis which was applied in the last part of the thesis. After receiving the results and conclusions from the basic example, the last part deals with the real safety frame model of Subaru Impreza Sti N15. This chapter presents the most important part of the thesis. On the model were executed three static test simulations which have to comply with FIA regulations. The task was solved with FEM modeling.

Analysis of response variables of bone samples in a different state of demineralization or deproteinization
Weiss, Andrej ; Man, Vojtěch (referee) ; Vosynek, Petr (advisor)
The Bachelor thesis deals with the analysis of mechanical properties of cortical bone in a state simulating the decrease of collagenous tissue component. Sensitivity of the selected properties on deproteinization is examined. The problem was solved experimentally. Samples of porcine femur were prepared and then subjected to measurements in physiological and subsequently in deproteinized state. On the basis of performed analyses, the most significant change was found to be in the elastic modulus and damping ratio.

Study of chemical processes in Titan atmosphere
Klohnová, Karolína ; Grossmannová, Hana (referee) ; Krčma, František (advisor)
The bachelor’s thesis deals with study of chemical processes in Titan atmosphere simulated under laboratory conditions. The abnormal glow discharge as a for-step for gliding arc discharge was used for the plasma generation in nitrogen-methane gas mixture corresponding to the Titan atmosphere composition. The optical emission spectroscopy was chosen as the basic plasma diagnostic method. The theoretic part of thesis describes briefly history of Titan atmosphere studies including the last space craft obtained results. Later, the fundamental properties of plasmas including their diagnostics are given. The general components determined in Titan atmosphere include N2, CH4, H2 molecules as well as a suite of lower weight hydrocarbons including HCN, C2H2 and C2H4; some traces of higher hydrocarbons and amino acids were determined, too. The electrode configuration corresponding to gliding arc arrangement with interelectrode gap of 2 mm was used with high voltage power supply giving power up to 300 W. Plasma was generated in the nitrogen-methane mixtures (0.5 – 2.5 % of methane) at atmospheric pressure. Both gases had purity better than 99.999% and all system was evacuated before measurement to suppress oxygen traces. Optical emission spectra were taken in dependence of applied power and gas mixture composition. Nitrogen and CN radical spectra as well as atomic lines of hydrogen and carbon were identified in the spectra. The vibrational temperatures of 2300 - 8000 K were determined from the spectra of nitrogen second positive, CN violet and C2 spectral systems. Rotational temperature calculated from nitrogen second positive and CN violet 0-0 bands varied in the interval of 1200 - 4800 K depending on the experimental conditions. The obtained results were submitted as a part of paper into international journal. The obtained results maybe used as a fundament for the future study of Titan atmosphere using also other discharge.

The importance of social networking site Facebook in marketing communications of the selected company
Novotná, Jana ; Stříteský, Václav (advisor) ; Strychová, Tereza (referee)
The goal of the thesis is to assume and recommend certain improvements that are based on the Facebook competing brands analysis and the outputs from the questionnaires to the selected company which is active in the babyfood sector. According to these new recommendations the Facebook marketing communication should be improved towards fans and the target group in general. The theoretical part describes the social networks with a focus the Facebook and the possibility of its use for business. The practical part focuses on the communication analysis of each babyfood brand on the social networking website Facebook, and the perception and the impact of this communication on consumers. This part also focuses on the satisfaction with the content and the communication of the selected brand's official Facebook page.

The Borders of Fiction
SEVERA, Tomáš
The submitted master's thesis focuses on issues of fiction. First, it pursues the competing definitions of the term itself in order to define it as non-referential sign afterwards. In chapters two to four it presents and comments three traditional approaches to fiction formal, semantic and pragmatic. In chapter five, which is the largest one of the entire work, it addresses in the writings of theorists who largely try to move around the presumed border between fictional and factual narration, usually represented by historiographical works. And finally in chapter six it deals with insights brought to the traditional theories of fiction by two versions of relatively new discipline the simulation theory.
