The system enabled successful separation in time less than 5 min. The retention time of tocol was 2.337 min and the retention time of vitamine E acetate was 4.271 min. The chromatographic resolution between tocol and vitamine E acetate was 7.515. The method was applied to analysis of vitamine E acetate in preparation Chondrotin - MSM 2600. Developed concentrations of vitamine E acetate were re-count on content of vitamine E that the producer declared. Keywords: vitamine E acetate, HPLC, Geladrink, Chondrotin - MSM 2600

Caring for High-Risk Newborns after Release from Hospital Treatment: A Parent's Perspective
MACUROVÁ, Štěpánka
My Bachelor?s thesis focuses on the issue of children with a development risk, and deals mainly with the care provided to these children after they are released from hospital. The thesis is divided into a theoretical and practical part. The theoretical part defines important used terms. In the Perinatology chapter, general provisions are described as well as the system of perinatologic centres. To understand the topic, it is necessary to know the classification of infants and understand the manifestations and consequences of premature birth, so the second chapter provides basic information about neonatology. A separate chapter deals with the definition of chronological age and corrected age. These are important to secure proper monitoring of the child?s development. The development of prematurely born children differs from the development of children born in the standard term, and this fact must be taken into consideration. Nutrition is an important aspect for proper development. Recent trends especially stress breastfeeding of the child by its own mother. Information about nutrition and breastfeeding and the specifics of nutrition for prematurely born children are described in a separate chapter of the thesis. The following chapter deals with the issues related to releasing children with a development risk from hospital, and the care following their release. The care provided by a development care centre is emphasised. The last chapter provides a selection of the most common diagnoses experienced by prematurely born infants. The practical part contains qualitative research carried out by means of a semi-structured interview. The interviewed sample contains ten mothers of prematurely born children or children with other development risks. Respondents were women that I know, who regularly visit a development care centre with their children. A key selection criterion was the corrected age of the child, which had to be less than 24 months. The goal of the research was to evaluate the activity of the development care centre from the parents? perspective. A single research question was asked: Which deficiencies do the parents see in the activity of the development care centre. The collected data was analysed and lead to a clear conclusion and answer to the research question laid down in the thesis. The results of my research clearly justified the activity of development care centres, which are usually part of large maternity wards. The centres are accepted very positively in all aspects. The interviews also showed some deficiencies, which were described in the discussion and summarized in the conclusion. Since neonatology care is constantly improving, the ratio of surviving children with an extremely low or low birth weight is much higher than in the past. It is necessary to take into account that care does not end after the child is released from hospital. Premature birth carries many risks, which threated the child?s development. It is thus necessary to secure continuous care and monitor the child after release from hospital into home care. This topic has recently been often discussed. The mental development of the child is as important as the child?s physical development. It has been proved that prematurely born children may have some psychological problems. The conclusion summarizes the deficiencies that mothers find in the activities of development care centres, and describes recommendations that should lead to improvement of this care. These include a need for greater engagement of nutrition and breastfeeding counsellors, improved education of nurses employed in community care and improvement of the quality of cooperation with children?s physicians. I would recommend my thesis to the expert and general public. It could also be of use to students of nursing ? midwives, children?s nurses and others who are interested in the issues of children with a development risk.

LABORARTORY BRNO
Bellovičová, Lina ; Nový, Vítězslav (referee) ; Ponešová, Barbora (advisor)
Laborartory The place is located near the historic center in place of the former city walls. I is separand from the city by the green ring and Koliště street and i tis adjacent to the boundary of the zone of urban conservation area. The urban land is a point on the axis of Kapitána Jaroše Avenue leading from Lužánky Park towards the green ring of historic centre. I based the proposed project on the traditional shape of a house with an inner courtyard, which I adjusted to the shape of a corner plot. The aim was to create a sheltered quiet place . The proposal adapts by its height and scale and observes continues in the present street line. The aforementioned scale became the impulse for the distribution of construction materials carrying the 3 separately functioning solids. The aim of the proposal is to create three separately operating facilities that complement its functions. Creative work is accompanied by exposition of objects and subsequent sale. Therefore, the idea of produce, make, sell, translates into the functional design as workshops and studios, a gallery and design shop. The axis Kapitána Jaroše Avenue to the green ring intersecting the plot solved the shaping of the resulting model that supports this connection. The place is the completion of the axial connection between the two parks. Therefore, the land is covered with a green platform which penetrates among houses. The garden is a contrasting element to the pure black solids and surrounding parks. It brings elements of a flower meadow.

SIA determination of nitrites, nitrates and chlorides using valid ISO norms.
Dundová, Aneta ; Sklenářová, Hana (advisor) ; Šatínský, Dalibor (referee)
This diploma work deals with determination of nitrite, nitrate and chloride based on Sequential Injection Analysis methodology following valid ISO norms. CSN EN ISO 11 732 sets method suitable for determination of ammonia nitrogen based on the FIA and CFA techniques in water samples. Determination is based on injecting sample with nitrite and nitrate content into continual flow of the carrier stream, where it is mixed with alkaline solution. Ammonium is separated in diffusion segmentor unit through semi-permeable membrane and is introduced into the flow with pH indicator. In consequences changes of pH values change the indicator color, which is scanned by spectrophotometer. Transfer of the mentioned FIA determination into the SIA system was carried out meeting calibration ranges of the ISO norm. Nitrite was determined directly using the Griess diazo- coupling reaction and the formed azo dye was measured at 540 nm in the flow cell of the spectrophotometer. The calibration curves were linear over the ranges 0,01 - 0,1 mg/l and 0,1 - 1,0 mg/l; correlation coefficients were 0,9979 and 0,9962. Nitrate solution was aspirated to reducing column containing copperised cadmium. After reduction of nitrate into nitrite the sample was aspirated to the holding coil, where it was mixed with the reagent and passed...

Functional Competence as the Goal of Developing Speaking Skill in Teaching German as a Foreign Language
Hejduková, Andrea ; Nečasová, Pavla (advisor) ; Chvál, Martin (referee) ; Spáčilová, Libuše (referee)
The thesis deals with the development of speaking skill whcn teaching German as a foreign language. It tries to analyse all possible aspects of speaking skill in order to develop the best possible teaching approach that would enable students to use their (spoken) language effectively and reach their communicative goals. For this skill. vvhich is defined mainly by the ability to perform the language functions that one needs to express, the term Tunctional competence' is used. An important feature of this term is the preference of success of communication to its correctness. The theoretical part first explains the terms used in the thesis (ability / skill / competence, learning versus acquisition). Afterwards, speaking skill is analysed in the context of other communicative skills, i. e. listening, reading. and writing, so that it is clear that no particular skill can be dealt with in a completely isolated way and that the teaching process should always involve an appropriate combination of various communicative skills. A separate chapter describes the differences between monologues and dialogues / polylogues. After that. three stages of speaking skill are analysed (imitative speaking. guided non-imitative speaking, and autonomous speaking). For these stages. vast amount of concretc examples of speaking tasks...

Theoretical and methodological perspective of cross-national comparative surveys (Application of cluster analysis in comparative analyses of European Social Survey)
Anýžová, Petra ; Vinopal, Jiří (advisor) ; Buriánek, Jiří (referee)
The thesis deals with the theoretical and methodological perspectives of comparative cross-national surveys. The importance of these perspectives currently increases, especially because of the creation of extensive continual international programs, as for instance European Social Survey, which realize quantitative researches with broad range of social topics. The Czech Republic began to engage in these international projects after 1989. The first goal of my thesis was to map the contributions which comparative studies bring into the combination of the theory and research in the area of sociology and illustrate the ability of comparative studies to contribute to the constructions of new theories and verifications of already existing theories. The thesis focuses also on the description of specific attributes which separate comparative studies from the standard monocultural studies. The second goal of my thesis was to describe methodological background of comparative survey researches with an emphasis on the concept of equivalence in cross-national research and on the achieving of quality of international surveys. Apart from the general methodological characterization an attention was paid to the specific approaches of the analysis of collected international data. Cluster analysis seems to be the most...

THE INVESTIGATION OF AN Al7075 ALLOY PREPARED BY SPARK PLASMA SINTERING OF MILLED POWDERS
Molnárová, O. ; Málek, P. ; Nemeth, G. ; Kozlík, J. ; Lukáč, František ; Chráska, Tomáš ; Cinert, Jakub
Atomized powder of an Al7075 alloy was high energy ball milled at room and cryogenic temperatures and compacted by spark plasma sintering (SPS) method. The influence of processing parameters on phase composition and microstructure was studied by X-ray diffraction, light and scanning electron microscopy. The mechanical properties were characterized by microhardness measurements. The atomized powder contained a large volume fraction of intermetallic phases located predominantly in continuous layers separating cells or dendrites in the interior of individual powder particles. Consolidation by SPS destroyed partially this morphology and replaced it by individual particles located at boundaries of original powder particles, at cell boundaries or arranged in chains in previous dendritic regions. High energy milling destroyed most intermetallic particles and enriched the matrix by solute atoms. The high deformation energy introduced into the powder during milling enhanced microhardness up to 220 HV. Consolidation of milled powders by SPS led to the formation of very fine-grained structure with the grain size even below 1 μm and with the fraction of high-angle boundaries about 0.9. Two main types of heterogeneously distributed precipitates were found. The irregularly shaped precipitates with a size about 1 μm seemed to encompass areas with rod like nano-precipitates in most samples. A drop in microhardness to 118HV was observed after SPS, predominantly due to a release of introduced deformation energy.

On the recirculation zone suppression behind HUMP profile using the DBD actuator
Procházka, Pavel P. ; Uruba, Václav
Previously, the DBD (dielectric barrier discharge) plasma actuator was used in rectangular channel to modify the properties of the boundary layer in spanwise and in streamwise orientation. The actuator was redesigned for using on the surface of the Glauert-Goldschmied body in different position to influence the point of the separation and the reattachment point as well as the total extent of the separation bubble. The most intensive effect occurs when the actuator takes effect in the point of separation. Further downstream, the ionic wind produced by DBD causes complex coherent structures in the wake for spanwise orientation in both direction. The effect of streamwise orientation is studied also. Actuator is operated in steady regime to produces continuous ionic wind as well as in unsteady regime when the vortex street is generated. The properties of vortex street is given by modulation parameters (frequency and duty cycle). The effect of these parameters on the wake is evaluated. This experiment is realized in the perspex channel connected to the blow-down wind tunnel. The HUMP profile is flush-mounted to the bottom side. The wire electrode of the actuator is situated in x/L = 0.63, 0.66, 0.69 and 0.72 of the chord length. The time-resolved PIV (Particle Image Velocimetry) is used as a main measurement technique. The flow field behind the profile is captured in longitudinal plane as well as in cross-section planes using 3D PIV. The results based on statistical quantities will be presented in this paper. More, next part will be devoted to the decomposition analysis of the flow dynamics (BOD, OPD).
