History, Presence and Future of Exchangeable Formats of Bibliographic Data
Rösslerová, Klára ; Vlasák, Rudolf (advisor) ; Sklenák, Vilém (referee) ; Drobíková, Barbora (referee)
This dissertation focuses on the data exchange bibliographic formats that have been used in the libraries since the 1960s. There have not been many changes over the decades although librarians have been calling for them. Since the beginning of the new millennium, there has been a growing pressure for change. The aim of this dissertation is to try to summarize the activities in this field and to outline possible future development. The formats used in the past and in the present are analysed in the first part. It is possible to predict the future development on the basis of the analysis of individual projects and on the basis of surveys. The results of the analysis suggest that these activities are headed to a linked data publication model that preserves the current cataloguing procedures. Keywords: exchange formats, bibliographic data, MARC format, MARC 21 format, linked data, BIBFRAME, Schema.org, cataloguing

Mortgages in Czech republic
Shchukina, Marina ; Smrčka, Luboš (advisor) ; Schönfeld, Jaroslav (referee)
This diploma thesis discusses about possibilities of housing financing and is especially focusing on mortgage market in Czech Republic. First part of this thesis has theoretical character and describes different types of housing: property housing, cooperative housing and rental housing and their specific features. This part also contains general characteristics of the basic ways of housing financing: building saving and mortgages. Besides, building savings is here compared with mortgages and there are described advantages and disadvantages of those both possibilities of housing financing. In this part there are also put examples of "future mortgages", which are not offered by Czech banks yet. The second part of the diploma thesis is focusing its attention on actual world crisis. Defines reasons of its origin, describes its impact on European and Czech economy. Also, discusses about impact the actual crisis has on estate market and market with loans and mortgages in Czech Republic. The third part of the thesis is concerned on standard procedure while disposing the mortgage and contains short example of buying an apartment by fictive person.

Czech prince and Saxon duke in 12th century. Comparison of the Czech principate and Saxon duchy of Henry the Lion
Zelenka, Jan ; Bláhová, Marie (referee) ; Žemlička, Josef (advisor)
During the reign of Henry the Lion was Saxony divided into number of "principalities". Holders (bishops, earls etc.) of these domains didn't stay under the command of the duke. They didn't grant his authority. Henry the Lion reigned only over his own principality. His power and support of Emperor Frederick Barbarossa gaye him factual dominance over the other princes of Saxony, but not the rule over them. Consequently was his primary interest not the rule over entire duchy, but the enlargement of his own property. He ruled in his own principality like superior suzerain. Problem of his principality was inner "disunion" .The domain was put together from allod and fiefs. Because of his fiefs was Henry in fact only one part in network of feudal relationships - on one hand the suzerein, on the other the fief. His suzerain position meant not, that he could ruled over his vassals like absolute monarcho His extreme requirements on his vassals activated their oposition. This inner conflict culminated in the time of clash.with emperor and caused animosity of his own vassals. The struggle with princes and the emperor has shown lirnits of his power and also incompact structure of his principality. Even his vassals came over emperor. His duke honour was taken from him. The duchy was divided and invested on other princes....

Slope stability calculations for small dams
Hajda, Jindřich ; Hodák,, Jiří (referee) ; Říha, Jaromír (advisor)
There are approximately 20 000 small dams in the Czech Republic. This number entails many ponds or small flood attenuation reservoirs, which provide protection against floods. We do not know much about the structure and material properties of these earth dikes. Concerning the small dam stability the current technical standard ČSN 75 2410 focuses foremost on the angle of both the upstream and downstream slopes in case of different materials, and the method of the stability assessment in case of a dam height being 6m or more. Most of these earth dikes are still standing in spite not being built according to any technical standards. They do not follow any standards mostly because they were built before the modern technical standards were published. This diploma thesis focuses on assigning the degree of a reserve in the safety factor for studies of 5 homogeneous earth dikes and 3 inhomogeneous earth dikes. The calculation was done using the Plaxis 2D software using to the shear strength reduction method. The Calculation of the safety degree is made for 4 typical load cases.

Crop production in the world with a focus on cereals and oilseeds
Sárazová, Klára ; Vošta, Milan (advisor) ; Kašpar, Václav (referee)
The aim of this master thesis is to analyse the current trends in production , consumption and trade in cereals and oilseeds. Furthermore, the work seeks to highlight the ever growing importance of these two groups of crop production. It also addresses the issue of declining growth in global agricultural production in relation to the growing population and the factors that affect the price of agricultural commodities. The entire work is conceived in three main chapters. The first provides a particular theoretical framework and includes definitions, localisation factors and many other basic data. The second chapter focuses on crop production in the world and its trends, paying particular attention to the group of cereals and oilseeds. Finally, the last chapter analyzes the world trade in cereals and oilseeds. It also examines the factors affecting prices of agricultural commodities and concludes prediction of the future development of the cereals and oilseeds sectors.

Analysis of the thermal load of the workpiece during the cutting grinding of high-strength bearing rings
Felgentreu, Sven ; Blecha, Petr (advisor)

Note on the use of Camassa-Holm equations for simulation of incompressible fluid turbulence
Caggio, Matteo ; Bodnár, Tomáš
The aim of this short communication is to briefly introduce the Camassa-Holm equations as a working model for simulation of incompressible fluid turbulence. In particular we discuss its application for turbulent boundary layer flows. This model (and related models) is studied for several years in mathematical community, starting from Leray [23]. It can be understood as a generalization of some classical fluid models (Navier-Stokes equations, Prandtl boundary layer equations), showing some interesting mathematical properties in the analysis of the behavior of it's solution (e.g. Layton and Lewandowski [22]). It has been found however, that the model predictions can lead to surprising extensions of the use of the model in technical applications, namely in simulating the turbulent fluid flows. This brief paper should be understood as an introductory note to this novel class of models for applied scientists.
