Fryčová, Kateřina ; Havlíček, David (referee) ; Přibil, Rudolf (advisor)
Antarctic ozone hole is so serious environmental problem that has become a subject of study of many scientists and studies. Thanks to them were studied in detail not only the chemical reactions taking place in the stratosphere, but also very specific climatic conditions prevailing over Antarctica, which is why the emergence of the ozone hole was there. The aim of this paper is to summarize the findings and conclusions achieved in these areas of research. The first third is devoted to general description of ozone, its characteristics, division into the tropospheric and stratospheric, chemical reactions in these parts of atmosphere which leads to the formation and dissolution of ozone. Then pay attention to how these natural processes to affect manmade compounds - CFCs and the characteristics of these substances. The next section analyzes the specifics of climate prevailing over Antarctica, how to intervene in the chemical processes in sratosphere, by extension, what their overall share of the damage ozonosphere and of course there are also mentioned chemical reactions leading the biggest ozone depletion. Lastly, are also mentioned legislative measures which man has taken in order to protect the ozone layer, the contemporary situation and outlook and that the implications of a weakening of the ozone layer for...

Pergner, Jiří ; Mašek, Tomáš (referee) ; Španielová, Hana (advisor)
Experimental system for the mouse polyomavirus life cycle study Abstract: Murine polyomavirus (MPyV) is the prototype of the Polyomaviridae family. This family includes also some important human pathogens (BKV, JCV, Merkel cell polyomavirus). Due to their specific properties viruses within this family may serve as versatile vectors for gene therapy or recombinant vaccine production. New methodological approaches may help to understand some yet unknown facts about MPyV life cycle. Clarification of some processes during murine polyomavirus life cycle may be also important to fully exploit polyomaviruses for therapeutic purposes. The aim of this diploma thesis was to preparare two innovative experimental systems that extend possibilities of studying the life cycle of MPyV. The first part of the diploma thesis focusses on construction of recombinant MPyV which expresses yellow fluorescent protein (EYFP) in the early stages of infection. Such virus can be very useful for studying the infection spreading by live- cell imaging and Fluorescence-Activated Cell Sorting (FACS) and can be employed for co- localization studies of YFP-tagged LT antigen with certain cellular proteins. Second part of the diploma thesis describes preparation of a hybrid cell line prepared by fusion of mouse and monkey cells. This new cell...

Possible solutions of implementation of company IS in a common way and SaaS, on the example of SMEs
Kořínek, František ; Basl, Josef (advisor) ; Fortinová, Jana (referee)
This thesis deals with the possibilities of enterprise informatics solutions in the SME (small and medium enterprises). This target group is further specified and is taken into account especially the most strongly represented subjects in SMEs - micro-enterprises. The main goal of this work is exploring the practical use of modern trends in information systems such as cloud computing or SaaS in direct comparison with conventional enterprise informatics solutions. In the first part is the space dedicated primarily to theoretical definition of concepts and identification of elaborated topics. Inside acquaintance with individual technical terms there is an example of one particular definition of company enterprise informatics solutions demonstrated with practical examples. The needs and solving the needs of small businesses are then generalized to the common needs of such small companies. Another part is dedicated to the actual analysis of the market and possible solutions of enterprise informatics. According to the specific needs of small businesses several optimal solutions are selected and further more thoroughly investigated and tested. The collected data serve for subsequent comparison of possible enterprise informatics solutions with particular results. The reader himself can assess complexity and price of technologies, especially in the context of conventional solutions and new products. For evaluation of the needs of these small companies primarily MMDIS principles of the methodology are used. In conclusion of the thesis there is the evaluation of detected findings and creating of recommendations for these small businesses.

Software for Design of Timetables
Bureš, Jan ; Mlích, Jozef (referee) ; Zemčík, Pavel (advisor)
The aim of this thesis is to design a software for elementary, middle and high schools, which will serve to create alternative timetables for staff substitutions. There are similarly oriented programs, but most schools don't use them. These programs contain many flaws, which are also discussed in this work. Creating substitution schedules is complicated, and a lot of conditions must be taken care of. Checking of all the conditions should be the main advantage of the application. Design and implementation of the application is based on requirements by a school, where substitution timetables are produced manually. Great emphasis is placed on user friendliness and ease of use.

Optimization of Signalling Traffic in IMS Subsystem of NGN Networks
Nagy, Ľuboš ; Orgoň, Miloš (referee) ; Bezpalec, Pavel (referee) ; Novotný, Vít (advisor)
One of causes of increased latency service over the whole IMS network can be unbalanced SIP (Session Initiation Protocol) signalling traffic through CSCF (Call Session Control Function). This thesis is devoted to the proposal of weight-based load balancing algorithm which can be used for the S-CSCF assignment performed by I-CSCF during the initial registration procedure of subscribers over the IMS architecture. The designed mechanism is implemented and evaluated in the mathematical model of IMS subsystem based on single servers with FIFO queues with the unlimited capacity in the numerical computing environment - Matlab. Two test-cases with different performance conditions of available S-CSCFs are described. The influence of measured latency affected by performance of other nodes (e.g. P-CSCF, I-CSCF, HSS, etc.) is minimized. Each of simulated test-cases is measured with various service times of SCSCFs and inter-arrival times. The obtained results of designed algorithm are compared with well-known selection algorithm – the round-robin algorithm. It is shown that new selection mechanism improved the service latency of whole IMS network. The possible weakness of the designed weight-based algorithm is sensitivity to traffic model over the modelled IMS architecture.

Dialect Caipira
Šmaiclová, Gabriela ; Hricsina, Jan (advisor) ; Jindrová, Jaroslava (referee)
This study, called Dialect caipira, deals with one of the dialect of Brazilian Portuguese language, its historical and sociological formation and its linguistic characteristics. The first chapter contains the interpretation of dialect and dialectology in line with studies undertaken in this area. It represents the evolution of dialectological research from neogrammarians until today. It includes theory of variability of William Labov, who departs from the traditional synchronous approach to language as it was a homogeneous subject of study, and carries out researches, which include variable use of language and its linguistic, stylistic, and social determinants. According to Chambers and Trudghill are introduced social strata with which we encounter in the study of language, and which have in some circumstances, the general tendency to use certain styles of speech. At the end of the first chapters are set out terms that will be used during the work. The second chapter deals with the colloquial Brazilian Portuguese. It outlines the historical formation of the language in Brazil and social factors that influenced it. It represents the emergence of language lingua geral, an artificial language created by Jesuit missionaries for evangelization. This language has been widely used in the first centuries...

STM study of adsorption of metals on the Si(111) 7x7 surface
Setvín, Martin ; Ošťádal, Ivan (advisor) ; Nehasil, Václav (referee)
The work is focused on studying of a single silver adatom hopping inside a half unit cell of Si(111)-7×7 reconstruction. It is possible to estimate activation energies and frequency prefactors for hops between particular adsorption sites. It was necessary to make fundamental modifications on a low temperature STM as a part of the work. The modificaations have been made on top of a sample cooling system and on inertial motor for coarse approach of the sample to a tip. The vacuum properties of the STM chamber have been improved. A considerable progress in technology of electrochemically etched tungsten tip preparation has been achieved. Further treatement of the tips has been studied with accent on field emission effect on the tip apex. The 7×7 reconstruction could not be prepared inside the vacuum chamber. Reason is probably a poor degassing of the sample. Further planned experiments could not be performed so far. This thesis contains detailed theoretical analysis of the studying of adsorption sites. The tests of time dependent tunelling spectroscopy method are described in results.
