Main Characteristics of Effective School and its Benefit for Improvement in Education and Further Pupil's Development
Novotná, Hana ; Veselý, Arnošt (advisor) ; Basl, Josef (referee)
9 RÉSUMÉ The Czech educational system came during the last years through many changes. Into force came the New School Act No. 561/2004 (School Act) that among others states schools' duty to conduct self-evaluation and develop their own educational programme. This thesis introduces school effectiveness research, meaningful from the end of the seventies and beginning of the eighties. In the Czech Republic the research is valid from the 1989. The aim of this thesis is to contribute to discussion on school effectiveness research in the Czech Republic, while the research is discussed from the view of school evaluation. At the same time this work offers a possibility to apply the theoretical research into Czech schools practise: their activity and evaluation. Further, one of the main statements of the school effectiveness research - that school has an impact on pupils not only on their academic knowledge but also on their future development - is investigated. The thesis is divided into two parts. The first part explores theoretical data on the research and deals with its main parts: school added value, correlates of effective school, school improvement, school's quality and it also investigates the balance between external and self-evaluation. In the conclusion of the first part, there are expressed critical...

Redistribuce napětí a její vliv na precipitaci v mikrostruktuře
Holec, David ; Dlouhý, Antonín
The present study considers two mechanisms that can contribute to the local redistribution of stresses in the microstructure of engineering alloys. The first model takes into account the anisotropy of thermal expansion coefficients and predicts a stress state generated close to a boundary between two differently oriented grains after a temperature change. The second model addresses a stress distribution in a polycrystalline aggregate characterized by anisotropic elastic constants and subjected to the isothermal aging under the assistance of external stress. The influence of local stress states on the selective precipitation of the Ni4Ti3 crystallographic variants in the microstructure of the NiTi shape memory alloy is demonstrated.

The college student from the point of view of his or her personal development
RZESZUTKOVÁ, Eva
Diploma thesis named: "The college student from the point of view of his or her personal development" is dealing with the personality of a college student, his or her motivation to studies, value orientation and internal and external factors which can have its influence during the studies. Employment of HPLC in the field of Drug analysis I.
Kalafut, Peter ; Kučera, Radim (advisor) ; Kovaříková, Petra (referee)
Curcumin with it's derivates belongs to pharmacologically acting diarylheptanoids. They are obtained from the herbal rhizomes of genus Curcuma spp. (Zingiberaceae), which are widespread in tropical regions of south-east Asia. For last decades the drug has been in focus of scientists. On the human organism there have been proven many interesting effects. Therapeutically are used it's choleretic, antioxidant and antiinflammatory activities. Nowadays the interest orientates to the prevention and treatment of cancer and to the favourable influence on Alzheimer's disease. After oral administration, however, curcumin achieves the system circulation only in traces. In introduced study we developed HPLC method for the determination of curcuminoids. The most advantageous way is extracting the pigments from the herb or extract with methanol as relatively polar solvent. In the aqueous medium is practically unsoluble. The presence of three acid hydrogens exhibits in the alkaline aqueous solutions. The resultating ionisation is documented by color change from yellow to red. These conditions prejudice the stability of the substance - in part we may prevent the degradation by using the antioxidants and keeping in dark place. The analysis utilizes a reversed-phase C18 column and involves the use of an external...

Memory in exile
Hadžagič, Sandra ; Papoušek, Vladimír (advisor) ; Wiendl, Jan (referee) ; Brabec, Jiří (referee)
This thesis is the monographic study about the literary works of Milada Součková. It addresses methodological issues and includes a detailed interpretation of her literary works. These works are perceived as a literary unity which undergoes various transformations yet it always retains its structural identity. The individual works retain their independence and can be see as complete works in themselves. The integral principle in this exposition is the motive of memory which interlaces the studied material. The exposition was not led by any predefined or previously established methodology, but instead, it was built gradually and with respect to the studied material. The study follows the artistic methods and expressions used by the author while attempting to explain their interna I dependencies. Further, it attempts to emphasize the significant axes which unify the author's individual works, especially with regards to the changes in her cultural and existential status, i.e. her exile to the United States. It gives insight into the poetic structures in Součková's literary opus, which makes possible to draw conclusions about the poetics as well as about other factors external to her literature. Ever since her very first publication, her poetics contain an autobiographical discourse. This is observed, when by...

The objective of this diploma work was to form hypothesis about external consultant's cooperation. The hypothesis was based on personal practical experience working on projects with external consultants and also being in role of consultant personally. The research with limited extent was performed related to the theme of diploma work. Evaluation of formed hypothesis was performed and the results were linked to the theory of organization. In the theoretical part of the work the history of the sociology of organization and management consulting have been listed and described. Based on personal practical experience cooperating with external consultants and working in the role of external consultant as well I have suggested possible reasons for hiring external consultants. Modern Java frameworks for front-end of web applications
Jahoda, Lukáš ; Buchalcevová, Alena (advisor) ; Mittner, Jan (referee)
The aim of this thesis is the analysis of selected frameworks for the development of modern web applications on the Java platform focusing on the front-end. The work is complemented by well-chosen source code examples that help the reader to create one's own view of the frameworks and it can also server as a tutorial. Introductory section focuses on the trends of modern web applications, especially on the front-end. It affects themes such as support for mobile devices, AJAX or responsive design of user interface. There are also introduced the latest technology on the front-end including HTML5, CSS3, jQuery library and dynamic language LESS whose main objective is the simplification, shortening and making cascading style sheets more dynamic. The output of this section: General LESS template is freely available and it can be applied to emerging projects. For the analysis there has been created static registration form on which there are applied frameworks Apache Wicket and Spring MVC with template engine Freemarker. In terms of analysis were chosen following points: the basic structure of the project, the application of static templates, external JavaScript / jQuery library, internalization, application of the form, submitting the form and validation of the input fields. The points were discussed in detail, especially in terms of implementation of both analysed frameworks. The outputs of the analysis are freely available structures of the projects and both of the resulting applications.
