The subject of this thesis is to give a brief overview of music activities for pre-school children. The thesis contains even music records including notes and lyrics. There are also described some activities which can be used for working with children in kindergartens.
Didactic use of musicalized poetry in Czech language and Music

This thesis focuses on verification of specific didactic processes which aim to closer introduce poetry to students of primary and secondary schools in an unconventional way. This goal is to be achieved with the use of music. The subject of research is the topic of musicalized poetry and mainly its didactic use in pedagogic practice. This work combined knowledge across subjects of czech grammar/literature and music and arts. The first chapter describes general principles of musicalising poetry, the process of musicalisation and common traits of musicalised poems. The core of the work consists of a reserach probe for which I have prepared several lecture preparation materials. These materials utilise various methods and processes for work with musicalised poetry - specifically I focused on texts of czech poets from the 20th century. Prepared lectures are applied in pedagogic practice by using the method of expetimental teaching. All the didactic outputs are accompanied by one or more reflections. In the end the results are summarized and learned facts are formulated for practical use.

The thesis deals with the development of pre-school children's musical feeling using specific and particular music activities. The aim of this bachelor thesis is to create a brief and general overview of music activities for pre-school children. It has only a theoretical part explaining what music is and describes its principles. However, there is also a chapter devoted to a musical development of children according to Mr Holas. The major part describes specific musical activities, instruments and songs. Musical and text notations of songs are included. Moreover, there are also described some activities which can be used for working with children in kindergartens. Some of these activities are not so much well-known.
Vocabulary of current popular songs

This bachelor thesis, based on the comparison of the results of the TOP 50 charts for 2016, analyzes the vocabulary of Czech pop songs in 2016, namely the work of Ondřej Ládek. We explore the vocabulary layers, describes the meaning of words by analysis of twenty selected songs by Slza and Xindl X and examines these texts from the point of view of phrazeology. Theoretic literal concepts from the field of versology worked out marginally. In conclusion this bachelor thesis compare differencies in the work of Ondřej Ládek depending on project. The results of this work enable us to get to know the contemporary pop culture and the way it forms one of the most played Czech authors.
Romani Folk Song and Possibilities of its Application in Music Lessons

5 ABSTRACT Romani folk song is not generally known among Czech population, which is a reason why this thesis in its theoretical part tries to familiarize with its origin, describe historical development of Romani music and divide songs according to functions and close geographical areas of its occurrence, so that a comprehensive picture can be created for the readers. The following part brings analysis of five Romani dance songs, which are described musically, textually and semantically. This section is based on various songbooks and audio recordings to create as authentic a version of a song as possible. The songs are enriched of sheet music together with lyrics and harmonisation for better possibilities of their application. The thesis continues with a suggestion of eventual means of application of Romani folk songs in vocal, musical and physical education. Moreover, there are described analysed songs with Romani scatting suggestions, typical features of expression, dance steps and rhythmical moves, which are typically observed in Romani culture. The dance steps are added in a form of textual description as well as short video recordings to become easily comprehensible. Folk text and graphic

The dissertation "The Folk Text and Graphic Art" studies a song as a topic for graphic and book production. Within the praktical part of the dissertation the author works up a graphic design of a original song-book, which represent his former music band's texts. He surveys the clash of today's fashionable music trends with folk traditions in his region and asks a question about the character of the contemporary folk song. The author's song-book is one of answers. On the base of this effort he also presents two didactic graphic sets. First it is a project "Collection of Folk Songs" for pupils of primary schools. Development of music and movement choreography for preschool children using my own didactic tools

Master's thesis addresses the implementation of didactic tool to musical movement activities of preschool children in kindergarten with respect to the integrative nature of education. The first part of the thesis is covering theoretical side of the important aspects of child development at the age of five to six years. Further it deals with the specifics of the development of musicality in preschoolers, especially focusing on instrumental side of the music. It highlights the musical creativity that flows from the principles of Orff School. Musical creativity is one of the objective of the thesis second, practical part. Here thesis research music educational project whose main component is a methodical set Cup Song that contains suggestions for practical usage. Experiment, observation and structured interview are used as methods of research that is focused on verification of the Cup Song impact on a musical and personal development of the child. Indian classical music: song in karnāṭak tradition

This diploma thesis disserts on Indian classical music which is generally divided into two main streams called hindustānī and karnāṭak. It starts with a brief introduction of the matter and definition of basic terminology that is associated with Indian music. Next, it introduces, by means of comparison, two main traditions, the principles on which they are build and musical instruments used in them. The theses then focuses on Indian song genres firstly from a theoretical point of view. Secondly, it presents a translation and analysis of several songs chosen from South Indian tradition karnāṭak.
