Design of synchronous linear motor thermal network
Čech, Jan ; Toman, Marek (referee) ; Knebl, Ladislav (advisor)
The first part of this thesis deals with the study of linear motors. The introduction of the thesis deals with the brief description of the linear motor, including its accessories. This part explains principle of linear motors, their general advantages and disadvantages. The next section contains an overview and division of the currently used linear motors. The second part deals with the theoretical description of forms of heat transfer. The third part of the thesis deals with the design of an equivalent thermal circuit model of a linear iron-core linear motor with permanent magnet. Hereafter, the proposed design will be used to calculate the temperatures of the individual motor units. The temperatures are later compared with the results obtained with finite element method.
Comparison of the of precision manufacturing of holes during laser cutting of materials on various types of CNC cutting centers
Petruška, David ; Dostál, Jan (referee) ; Mrňa, Libor (advisor)
The thesis compares the precision of 90x90 mm laser cutouts with circular and quadrangular holes which are divided into two CNC cutting centers with different axle drive types. On both machines, the samples are cut through both oxidative and fusion cutting. Measurement was carried out using a sliding scale and for a more detailed and accurate analysis on a 3D coordinate measuring machine with a touch system. The results of the measurements showed that the more suitable cutting method for sheet metal cutting CSN 11321 DC01 is melting. Deviations of the nominal dimensions are comparable when cutting on both machines, so the choice of the machine for production speeds, operating and acquisition costs depends on the serial production of these burners.
Design of linear motor with permanent magnets
Čech, Jan ; Bulín, Tomáš (referee) ; Knebl, Ladislav (advisor)
The first part of this thesis deals with the study of linear motors. The introduction of the thesis deals with the brief description of the linear motor, including its accessories. This part explains principle of linear motors, their general advantages and disadvantages. The next section contains an overview and division of the currently used linear motors. Each type of currently used linear motors is briefly introduced and also its principle and characteristics are described, including its specific application. The second part of the thesis deals with the design of an equivalent magnetic circuit model of a linear iron-core linear motor. Hereafter, the proposed design will be used to simulate the distribution of magnetic flux in the linear motor. The evaluated flux-density distribution in the air gap is later compared with the results obtained with finite element method. The thrust is then calculated from the flux-density and the estimated value is compared with the value listed in datasheet.
Design of control system of stand for testing sensors of displacements
Lička, Miroslav ; Šubrt, Kamil (referee) ; Vetiška, Jan (advisor)
This bachelor thesis is covering deals design of the control program of the test stand for the measurement of linear sensors. The research section is focused on sensors which can be used on machine tools and on automation resources. By practise part is write about hardware for control axis and design software for control. Software is create in program TwinCAT3. In the end is describe visualization and control.
Design of linear axis for heavy machine tool
Göbel, Lukáš ; Marek, Jiří (referee) ; Hermanský, Dominik (advisor)
The content of this thesis is the description the various component of the linear feed axis, which are used in heavy duty machine tools. This describes their features, advantages and disadvantages and on these basics, are selected different appropriate design variants. In the second part of this thesis has been drawn up constructional design of these variants. They were subsequently compared and then was chosen the most ideal one for the designed machine, which is heavy machine tool upper gantry type. The work also includes the 3D CAD model of the final version and drawing documentation.
Robotic Table Football
Mareček, Petr ; Matoušek, Radomil (referee) ; Lang, Stanislav (advisor)
The aim of this diploma thesis is the design of robotic table football with the realization of the construction and control a single axis of table football. In introduction are described previously developed solutions. Next chapters contain a selection of specific gaming table and specification of linear, rotary motor. There are presented design visions with the placement of selected component together with proposal location of sensor system for ball detection. In the end of design section is specification and solution of placement safety features. The programming part of the thesis involves the implementation of a communication interface for data processing from the control algorithm of robotic table football.
Electromagnetic pulse accelerator of projectiles
Development of Instrumental Equipment for the Characterization of Nanostructures
Nováček, Zdeněk ; Ošťádal, Ivan (referee) ; Fejfar, Antonín (referee) ; Šikola, Tomáš (advisor)
The thesis focuses on the development of instruments used for surfaces and nanostructures characterization. Individual techniques of scanning probe microscopy provide different information of the sample surface. The resolution of scanning probe microscopy, providing 3D topography information, reaches subnanometer values or even an atomic level. Therefore, the scanning probe microscopy is one of the most employed method in the field of nanotechnology. The thesis describes the details of development of two scanning probe microscopes intended for measurement under ultra high vacuum conditions. As for the first one, many changes were proposed leading to its better variability, extended functionality and increased user comfort. The second microscope is being design with the aim of its combination with other analytic techniques, especially with scanning electron microscopy. An integral part of scanning probe microscopes is a precise positioning system for navigation of the probe to the selected site. Therefore, the thesis also deals with the development of linear piezoceramic actuators used not only in the ultra high vacuum compatible microscopes but also as a general purpose nanomanipulators.
Design of special purpose tool for sag measurement
Mejzlík, Jiří ; Vetiška, Jan (referee) ; Houška, Pavel (advisor)
The aim of the thesis is to design a special purpose tool for sag measurement. Three possible solutions are proposed, for each the production cycle time is calculated and its approximate costs are estimated. The best solution in terms of a trade-off between both key quantities is suggested. Next part of the work deals with the selection of suitable drives for the manipulator as well as of the other components for the whole electrical device. Finally, a possible automated control of the complete machinery, including the electrical wiring diagram, is presented.
Design of a three-axis manipulator
Vojtěch, Michael ; Tůma, Jiří (referee) ; Holub, Michal (advisor)
The goal of master’s thesis is design of a three-axis manipulator working as x-ray unit. Axis include one rotary and two liner. The work is based on the existing manipulator and the goals are reducing vertical installation space, weight reduction, increasing accuracy and repeatability. Creating 3D model with computational report from available components. There is resulting variant solved with linear motor in this thesis with that there is indicated alternative variant but not dealt with in detail.
