Driving while intoxicated among students in Czech Republic

The first main part is devoted to alcohol itself, its detailed description, development, its effects on the body. Further, I will deal with alcohol and residual strength measurements at the roadside. With this theme also relates to the safety of our roads, campaigns against drinking and driving, as well as various statistics of accidents under the influence compared with other countries. The practical part will discuss the connection between education and driving under the influence of alcohol. Evaluating whether the educational level and age of drivers associated with driving under the influence of alcohol. We describe the attitudes of students to the problem of driving under the influence of alcohol. Research is conducted through anonymous questionnaires from a sample of fifty students from the fourth year of vocational school and fifty students from the first year of college. The result of the work will be summarized results will be evaluated and demonstrated a comprehensive overview of this issue. Withdrawal from contract in business relations (consequences) Summary Withdrawal from a contract i the instute available to parties that find a contract to be unsound or damaging and that seek to be released from their contractual obligations. The conditions under which a party has the right to withdraw from a contract can be set out in the contract itself, but if the contract does not make specific provision for this then a right to withdrawal may be mandated by law. Following a party's withdrawal from a contract, both (or all) parties will find themselves in a new situation with new mutual rights and obligations. This paper focuses on the regulations governing the consequences of withdrawal from a contract as set out in the Czech Commercial Code. A major aspect of this is an analysis of the theoretical conception of withdrawal ex nunc (one of the most important legal concepts distinguishing current commercial regulations from the regulations set out in the General Civil Code). This paper examines the obligations that end with contract withdrawal, the obligations that survive and outlast the termination of a contract, and the new obligations that bind and affect the parties to the contract once the contract has been terminated by withdrawal. Obesity its causes and cosequences

Obesity is one of the most common health problems in the Word. Over 500 million adults and over 40 million children are obese. The aim of this work is to summarize findings of causes and consequences of this health problem. Even though in some cases only genetic mutations are responsible for obesity for example mutation in ob gene or Prader-Willi syndrome most cases are caused by lifestyle of people -excessive food intake and insufficient physical activity. There are many health problems accompanying obesity. The most serious problems are metabolic syndrome, diabetes mellitus, cardiovascular diseases and cancer. The consequences of obesity are, however, not confined only to health. We can also observe the economic consequences. Financial cost of treatment of obesity and related diseases are estimated in billions of dollars. Pharmacological treatment has so far proved to be ineffective. If drugs are effective, the side effects are so severe that their use is not possible. So far, the adipose tissue hormones that regulate food intake provide the best hope.
Most frequent deficiencies in the management of selected governmental organizations established by Středočeský kraj

The Final Dissertation is oriented on economy of organisations established by District. The theoretical part describes control as one of the management tools, dividing of the public control to outside and inside part and legislative framework of the public budgetary control. The practical part of the Dissertation brings an overview of the most often and repeating faults in economy of the organisations established by the District of Central Bohemia (several types of schools and school type of organisations) based on research evaluation of the a audit documentation. The target of Dissertation is to draw attention to consequences of the fault operations which can be finding in organisations economy. There was found (by analysis and solution comparison of the single audit protocols) that most often faults were in areas of accounting, stocktaking, internal audit system, creating and using funds and internal directives. Generally there is possible to claim that there is no improvement in organisations economy during the analysed five years period and there are still the same long term faults. There are only a few areas where slight improvement is achieved. It implies a necessity to set up and keep internal control system, to monitor changes in legislation and continuously train the responsible employees.

The catastrophic flood in the year 1872 and its causes

The work deals with the floods of 25 and 26 May 1872. Its aim is to gather historical mentions of the flood, especially from the chronicles and from the press. From every historical record of the evaluation l will write important information related to the event, eg. the beginning of the storm, weather before the storm, the maximum height reached levels etc. On this basis, I will try to describe the causes of the flood, its flowage and consequences. Ideally I will discover in the records the facts that are still hidden from the professional community. The conclusions they arrive at work, will be compared with studies from the past.

Analysis of the Impact of Fixed Obstacles near Roads on the Course of Traffic Accidents

This thesis named Analysis of the impact of fixed obstacles near roads on the course of traffic accidents deals with the diversification of fixed obstacles near the roads, brief theory of road accidents, possible consequences and shows statistics of road accidents with a fixed obstacle. The aim is to perform analysis of real traffic accidents with a fixed obstacle with serious consequences for health, life and property and with the help of a computer simulation software to analyze the same accident again, but for the condition if the fixed obstacle was removed. Finally, the consequences of accidents are compared, the analysis are evaluated and the proposed measures to eliminate the consequences are assessed.
Risk analysis of siphon pipes

The master’s thesis discusses siphon pipes that are used to collect groundwater. The goal of work is to define the most frequent undesired events that may appear on siphon pipes, and verifying the individual springs. The work is addressed in accordance with the metodology of risk analysis WaterRisk. The content of the work is a summary of the hydraulic of siphon pipes and their use in practice, hazard identification, defining the most frequent undesired events and consequences on siphon pipes, and their verification in the spring in a particular case study.
