České Budějovice- town and water

The thesis deals with the characteristics of the town of České Budějovice focused on the hydrological situation, the coexistence of the town with water and the use of water surface areas. The thesis is divided into two main parts. The theoretical part summarises firstly, the information dealing with geographical physics secondly, socioeconomic information. It is followed by a detailed analysis of the main rivers, the Vltava and the Malše, which flow through the monitored territory. There is also a chapter aimed at the system of ponds in the defined location. From a historical point of view there are mentioned mainly interventions of nature itself in the life of the town in the chapter dealing with floods. The second application part includes the historical analysis of the evolution of the river bed and the water surface areas in the territory of České Budějovice, which was made up on the basis of comparing maps and information from the beginning of the 18th century up to the present. The anthropogenic activity and its influence on the town of České Budějovice itself is presented in the section solving the endangered water surface areas. This part also contains a case study dealing with the possibility of solving these hazards and risks in the countryside. The output of the thesis also includes the creation of promotional materials, which could be used as teaching supplementary materials at primary schools.

Preconditions for tourism development in Rokytnice nad Jizerou

The work deals with the preconditions for tourism development in Rokytnice nad Jizerou. The first part defines the theoretical foundations for tourism development. Another chapter is devoted to a general physical-geographical and socio-economic characteristics of the town Rokytnice nad Jizerou and its history and co-operation with other towns and organizations. The next part describes localization, realization and selective conditions for tourism development in the town and also a very important marketing. The final chapter deals with specific proposals and measures to improve tourism in Rokytnice nad Jizerou based on SWOT analysis, official plans of town and results of monitoring of visitors.

Marketing of the town Český Brod

This bachelor thesis deals with marketing of the town Český Brod. The aim of the thesis is to analyze marketing activities of the town and to recommend improvements. The theoretical part defines the basic terms of the theory of tourism marketing. The practical part firstly introduces Český Brod and evaluates marketing activities of the town. This analysis is carried out in the form of SWOT analysis and marketing mix that reflects the results of survey which took place on the territory of the town Český Brod. The final chapter proposes improvements of marketing activities and development of the tourism of the town.

Pictures of the city (Cycle of paitings) City theme in Czech art in the end of 19th century and the begining of the 20th century.

Abstract This diploma paper consists of two parts. Main part is represented by ``Pictures of the city`` paintings cycle. As a topic of my paintings and the subject of my inspiration I have chosen České Budějovice city, where I´ve been living since my childhood. Various places acted as a motive {--} insights to the streets of the old town, hidden nooks, streets in the winter, Malše river riverside, the sight out of my window, etc. Theoretical part is kind of a probing to the city art theme during the turn in the end of 19th century and the begining of the 20th century. It records different stances of the artists of this era. Many artists have been concerned with this theme so in my paper I introduce just few of them who were inspired only by the city itself. Part of my work is a chapter that reflects creative process in my own paintwork. The text is followed by hooked illustration showing my chosen examples of city paintwork. The monastery Tepla - the centre of education.

The bachelor thesis deals with the history of the monastery from its establishment by beatified Hroznata in 1193 to present, in which the period of heights was followed by falls. The second chapter deals with the contribution of the monastery Teplá to the education of the monastery members at monastery latin school, at local theological study from 1550 to 1783, at Norbertinum from 1639 to 1783 and at local theological educational institute from 1832. The second chapter deals also with the education of secular children at presbiteries and town schools, the education of schoolchildren at grammar school and filosofical institute in Plzeň and the education of girls in institute in Mnichov and Úšovice. The third chapter deals with three important national revivalists, who contribute to the national revival in Plzeň - J. V. Sedláček, J. F. Smetana a H. J. Karlík. The last chapter of the bachelor thesis is about the most important scientific person of region Teplá ? A. M. David.

Everyday life in Slaný around year 1600

Presented thesis deals with the everyday life of the 16th and 17th century in the royal town of Slaný in the central Bohemia. It recounts the eventful history of the city from its prehistoric beginnings to the present. Focus is the fourth and fifth chapter. The fourth chapter discusses the type sof criminal offenses and punishment for them in the early modern period grant. This includes offenses against life and healthy, against property, against morality and honor. This section we also learn about dishonest professions. The fifth chapter describes the everyday concerns of people at the time - the need to belong, cocern for the livelihood, concern for subsistence but also financial matters. Full text concludes humorous incident that happened in 1604.

Prolegomena to Search for Ecclesiological Inspirations in the Life and Work of Tomáš Bavorovský († 1562) Jaroslav Havrlant Tomáš Bavorovský, a Czech preacher and writer is still a quite unknown personality of the Bohemian renaissance. In my thesis I try to make a research of his ecclesiological attitudes. Thesis are divided into three parts. The first, universal part put the reader into very a difficult religion-political situation in west and south Bohemia in the first half of the 16th century. The aim of the second part is to tell more about personality of the preacher and in the last one I concentrate on his life work. The first part describes specific situation of Bohemian reformation, which was different from neighboring countries due to its Hussite tradition and Utracvistic church. German reformation was at first more quickly spread among Catholics than Utracvists in Bohemia. Special attention is paid to church government, educational system, book printing as well as censorship. Tomáš Bavorovský worked mostly in Catholic towns of south Bohemia and in Plzeň. Therefore, a short description of their religious history follows. Opportunities and limits of tourism development of the town Tábor

The diploma thesis analyses the current state of tourism in the town Tábor and evaluates the utilization of the potential of the town and the whole region for tourism. In the theoretical part there are at first defined the crucial terms related to the topic of the thesis and after that the importance of tourism in the Czech Republic as well as the potential of tourism in South Bohemia are outlined. The analytical part deals with the analysis of tourism industry in the town Tábor and in the region Táborsko. Another chapter is devoted to the sustainable development of tourism in the town including its involvement in Healthy Cities of the Czech Republic Association and the projects for the tourism development are also mentioned. This is followed by the evaluation of the current level of tourism in Tábor, which is complemented by a SWOT analysis of the town. In conclusion, the author of this thesis provides her suggestions and recommendations.

The waste management in the town of Rakovník

Diplomová práce se zabývá systémem nakládání komunálním odpadem v Rakovníku. První kapitola práce seznamuje s platnou právní úpravou v oblasti odpadů. Druhá kapitola obsahuje popis systému nakládání komunálním odpadem v Rakovníku v současnosti, na základě níž jsou v této části práce též hledány slabé stránky tohoto systému a hodnocena adekvátnost stanovených cílů Plánu odpadového hospodářství města. Dále jsou zde navržena nejdůležitější konkrétní opatření k vylepšení tohoto systému. Třetí část práce se zabývá analýzou ekonomické stránky odpadového hospodářství v Rakovníku. Konkrétně jsou zde popsány a hodnoceny jednotlivé příjmy, struktura výdajů a konečný výsledek (deficit) odpadového hospodaření města.

Free time children in primary school

This thesis deals with the free time of children younger than school age. The theoretical part deals with the development of a child under school age, the effects of environmental problems on the pupil, which applies especially to family, peers, environment and functions, and special interest activities. The third chapter is devoted to education outside the classroom. The practical part is based on research spacecraft, which was conducted in two elementary schools, examined how different leisure time activities for children from a small town and larger cities. Differences between girls and boys. And how would the children want to spend their leisure time dream.
