Using MIM in time perspective diagnostics
Havlíčková, Radka ; Pavelková, Isabella (advisor) ; Štech, Stanislav (referee)
This Diploma thesis thematizes the problem of students' time perspective and its diagnostics. The whole text is divided into two parts - theoretical and practical with emphasis on the theoretical part. The theoretical part will look upon the conceptions of time perspective. Ideas of time perception, the influence of time on human behavior and a connection of time pespective with an achievement motivation are presented. The personality-motivational concept of time perspective by European expert of motivational psychology Jopeph Nuttin are analyzed. From the domestic authors I describe the concept of perpsective orientation by Isabella Pavelkova. These theories are completed with information gained by Rayner, Gjesme and Fraisse. The important section is a chapter where diagnostics and specifics methods are presented. The empirical section contains the results of research provided by 5 classes of high school students with an eight year (or four year) study plan in April 2012 in Caslav. Using two questionaries (Motivational Induction Method and Perspective Orientation Questionary). Motivational Induction Method investigates objects of students' time perspective and summarized these themes into exact time frames. The Perspective Orientation Questionnaire helps investigate external validity. Key words:...

Methods: The theoretical part is describing anatomy and functional kinesiology of the antebrachium and hand, then fractures of the distal antebrachium. The thesis considers mostly conservative treatment, complications of treatment and following therapy. The practical part is the describing aplication of gained theoretical knowledges about concrete diagnosis. It contains incoming kineziological assessment and conclusion, which makes short- term rehabilitation plan. This part is also decribing the process of therapeutical units, outcoming kineziological assessment and final evaluation of the therapy. Key words: antebrachium, hand, accident, physiotherapy

Beginning of the Angolan colonial war-its reflection on the press and literature before the year 1989
Kodíčková, Kateřina ; Míšková, Alena (advisor) ; Šarochová, Gabriela (referee)
During its first months. the Czechoslovakian press printed almost daily news about the colonial war in Angola (1961 - 1975). The news coverage is analysed and compared to the literature edited during the socialist regime and also with contemporary international literature. As a result of the comparison we were able to appreciate how as the conflict matured and became better known internationally. the coverage became more biased. In the beginning seems like the editors don't know hO\,v each actor in the war is aligned with the international powers and gives a rather impartial account of the events. Gradually the positions are clarified and propaganda gains more weight in the news. 104

Possible risks of abuse of radioactive materials from the former uranium ore processing plant MAPE Mydlovary.
ŘEPA, Libor
Possible risks of using radioactive materials are a highly discussed topic nowadays. This work is dealing with this problem and it is focused on possible risks of using radioactive materials from the ex-treatment plant of uranium ores MAPE Mydlovary. In introductory chapters I am describing the current state of ex-treatment plant of uranium ores. I am dealing with the history of operation of MAPE, information about sludge lagoons and about stored sediments in them and other characteristics concerning this operation. For years, sediments in which radionuclides are contained have been stored in treatment plants and that is why I am dealing with ionizing radiation. Because the topic is the using of radioactive materials which can be used mainly by terrorists, I am also describing this worldwide phenomenon of recent years where I first of all focused on super-terrorism using radioactive weapons, namely so-called ?dirty bombs?. The target of this work is to find out possibilities of using radioactive materials from the ex-treatment plant. Therefore I measured values of radioactivity and exposition of radiation at some places with the help of exploratory research. That meant sampling of soils and water and also measurement of power of dose equivalent of radiation gamma. After gathering information of needed radiation values I carried out simulation of possible using of radioactive materials from the premises MAPE. By means of dirty bomb I used the programme TerEx at using radioactive material. Then I carried out several calculations which were focused on inhalation, ingestion or outdoor radiation from radioactive materials and also calculation how much it is necessary to gain a significant source of ionizing radiation. From these sources I have deduced impacts for individuals, society or environment. Based on analysis and evaluation of given problems, my set hypothesis ?By using radioactive materials from the ex-treatment plant of uranium ores MAPE Mydlovary a serious threat to people will not occur? was confirmed. Results of my work can be used as a study material for completing and broadening knowledge about risks resulting from using radioactive materials. Further an increase of foreknowledge and explanation of certain consequences of ionizing radiation on humans from materials from the ex-treatment plant of uranium ores MAPE Mydlovary, for inhabitants of Mydlovary and surrounding areas and also useful information for lay and professional society which is interested in these problems.

Starting point of the thesis focuses on the content of Balanced Scorecard that is expressed by the analysis of the two key functions of BSC -- BSC as a measurement system and BSC as a strategic management system. The content analysis of BSC is accompanied by the description of the suitable techniques that can be used in the process of creating BSC. On the basis of gained information of the content aspects and the suitable techniques is created proposal of BSC system for real Train Engineer a.s. Corporation.

Subvention of renewable resources of energy in the Czech republic
Plačková, Andrea ; Šauer, Petr (advisor) ; Lejnarová, Šárka (referee)
The worldwide growing consumption of energy forces us to think about how to avoid a possible energetic crisis and its economic and social impacts. One way to avoid the threat is a higher use of energy from renewable resources along with rational consumption of energy. The goal of my diploma work is to evaluate whether the State should support the development in technologies gaining energy from renewable resources and also to evaluate the efficiency of public funds (financial resources) invested in this way. In the first part of my diploma work, I will focus on individual renewable resources in general, clarify their advantages, disadvantages and compare the use of renewable resources in the Czech Republic with the States of the European Union. I will also introduce the legislative structure, out of which the state support of renewable resources results and following on, will make an analysis of the efficiency of this support. The main contribution of my diploma work is the evaluation of State support to the renewable resources of energy.

The Regional Policy of the EU, The Position of Regions in the EU, The Representation of Spanish and Czech Regions to the EU
Grimová, Kateřina ; Romancov, Michael (advisor) ; Říchová, Blanka (referee)
Although the European Union is one of the richest parts of the world, there are striking internal disparities of income and opportunity between its regions. The entry of 10 new member countries in May 2004, whose incomes are well below the EU average, has widened these gaps. Regional policy transfers resources from affluent to poorer regions. It is both an instrument of financial solidarity and a powerful force for economic integration. The European Union allocates more than a third of the budget to the reduction of the gaps in development among the regions and disparities among the citizens in terms of well-being. One of the current priorities is to bring living standards in the new member states closer to the EU average as quickly as possible. The increasing budget of financial instruments for regional help is connected with appreciation of European regions and its role in the politics field. The last years have showed the tendency of strengthening the position of particular regions. Today regions are stronger partners than national states for lot of institutions. It is likely that this tendency is still intensifying after the enlargement in the year 2004. The role of the representation of particular regions in the capital of the EU has gained the importance for the previous reasons. In the current period...
