Slovák, Martin ; Mildeová, Stanislava (advisor) ; Exnarová, Anna (referee)
The goal of this thesis is to summarize the mthods of systém thinking, and to analyze the benefits of using these methods while developing and using the information system on that basis. Part of the thesis targets is the creation of models for analysis of an organisation, projection and follow-up cration of na IS. The thesis also gives the views of IS use -- there it shows models for human resources and the views of services. The benefits of this thesis is the description of the methods of systém thinking, the application disciplines and their use while creating and using the IS. Other benefit should be the possibility to quicken the IS production and to lower external effects on the process of IS creation. In the domain of IS operation, the possibility of fuction modelling and the possibility of IT department simulation will be shown. In the first part of the work the topics of system thinking is defined -- from its definition to division o the problematics. In the same part there is also shown the impact of worldview and the application desciplines are defined -- such as systém analysis, systém dynamics and systém engineering. In the second part of the thesis, the reader can find the definition and analysis of the IS production -- mostly from the view of organization, for which the IS is designed. In the last part the readers may find the view of systems thinking and its benefits in the area of IS operation -- concretely the model, that shows and decribes the possibility of simulation and follow-up optimisation in the organization.

Integration possibilities of hospital information systems IKEM and FTNsP
Pelikán, Vít ; Střížová, Vlasta (advisor) ; Cidlina, Jaroslav (referee)
Besides of theoretical part of the thesis, which consists of the basic requirements for quality information system, this work explains evolution of two hospital information systems, their recent forms and current statuses. This thesis is not trying to focus on some detailed description of both information systems, rather on their parts which are critical for their operation. But the main idea of this thesis is not only plain description of those two systems, but mostly an attempt to create a solution, by which those two systems can be connected to work as a one.
Comparison of two information systems with the accent on the branch of human resources management for small and medium enterprises
Kvasňa, Roman ; Žid, Norbert (advisor) ; Beznoska, Tomáš (referee)
This diploma thesis is focusing on comparison of two information systems with the accent on the branch of human resources management for small and medium enterprises. This thesis has many goals: (1) to compare two human resources information systems for small and medium enterprises; (2) to find out and analyze the trends of human resources information systems; (3) to make a detailed list of functions of the human resources information system, choose the functions which are above standard, and confront them with the trends; (4) to solve the need of a new information system in a small company as a case study. The goals are accomplished by means of communication with practice (preferably with HR analytics, HR managers and information systems suppliers). The detailed function structure is used as a comparison tool, and both information systems are confronted with it. The trends were found out by using researches and interviews with the HR analytics. Application of the information system for small company is the author's job content. The small company is using the information system in spite of the fact that it is not complete. Among the added values of this thesis we can state connection of the author's primary and secondary specialization (Information systems and technologies, Human resources management), application of knowledge into business practice, and confrontation of the trends with the opinions of the HR managers.

ICT influence on the formation of cultural knowledge
Štefán, Ladislav ; Rosický, Antonín (advisor) ; Pavlíček, Antonín (referee)
This paper tries to identify how culture influences information and communication technology (ICT) as well as vice versa. Within the life cycle of an information system (IS) we will attempt to describe problems and benefits of cultural issues and find out an appropriate theory. First part contains basic concepts of information and knowledge which are related to sociocultural aspects of ICT. In the second part we will determine cultural influences to the life cycle of IS. We will compare our presumptions with several case studies from the online sources.
Effects and benefits of information systems
Veselý, Ondřej ; Basl, Josef (advisor) ; WOlf, Rudolf (referee)
This diploma thesis deal with benefits of information systems (IS) in companies. It contains of theoretical and practical parts. The main goals of this thesis are to analyze the real information system in SUDOP PRAHA a.s. company and to draw up changeovers in this system and its driving with the main focus to raise benefits of IS. The nearby goals in theoretical part are: to identify the main potential benefits which can be reached using IS and to identify conditions and limitations to which companies have to impeach and which are crucial to maximize the benefits of IS. Theoretical part goes from available literature and electronic resources analysis. Practical part is based on consultations with SUDOP PRAHA a.s. employees and on information provided by developers of their information systems. The benefit of my diploma thesis is in the problematic parts of IS in SUDOP PRAHA a.s. identification. When the company eliminates these problems and enlarge its IS in the parts I suggest, their benefits of this IS should rise. These recommendations are definitely applicable to other specific information systems in nonmanufacturing companies, mainly design, consulting and engineering companies. This thesis could work as the base view of information systems and their driving issue. This fast view is useful for organizations, which haven't any information system yet or whose information system doesn't work great.
Information and communication in the management of the music club
Stejskal, Michal ; Střížová, Vlasta (advisor) ; Švarcová, Eva (referee)
This work focuses on analysis of operation of the PopoCafePetl music club and on solution of existing problems of processes. Work is formally divided in two parts -- theoretical and practical. The first part introduces two very important managerial tools -- information and cummunication. Basic attitudes to the definition of the term information are discussed from the point of view of the disciplines examining it. A compendium of the communication forms, functions, and processes is enlisted with stress on the business communication. A structural proposal of information system fitted to the music club operation and management support was created in the empirical part of the study. Its realization and consequent implementation would simplify its run and service into a more efficient way. More economical management, more consistent promotion and the raise of its competitivnes should be their collateral product. To apply the conclusions of the analyses or information system itself would be convenient to any eterprise in this field of business.
Implementation of information system Unicorn Universe at Unicorn College
Krejsa, Jiří ; Švecová, Lenka (advisor) ; Havelka, Martin (referee)
The essential theme of this bachelor theses is the problems in implementation of information system into organization. The main aim of this work is to describe selected processes, that are used for IS implementation and to decompose the application of these procedures on one particular example. This theses should demonstrate the variability of used methods and simultaneously prove the complexity of exercise where the theoretical procedure is being used in concrete situation. Chosen methods are described on the basis of available literature and electronic resources from domestic and foreign authors. Practical part makes accessible methodics that are used by one concrete company, which attend in the long term to information system implementation. This part also assays one of the projects, where this company applied its' methodics. The main contribution of my theses is transparent description of system implementation on concrete example. Intercepted results confirm the severity of exercise, which is being repetitively solved nowadays by medium and big organizations. At the same time these results justify attention which is being given to the implementation of information system.
