Problems of Czech morphology in selected handbooks
Prohorenco, Dmitrii ; Hrdlička, Milan (advisor) ; Holub, Jan (referee)
Czech language is inflective, that is one ending/suffix cumulates many categories. Many words (especially nouns, verbs and adjectives) have many forms. There are seven cases, fourteen basic types for nouns, five verb conjugation classes, ten parts of speech in czech. Verbs have categories of voice, aspect, person and tense. Nouns have gramatic categories of number, case and gender. There is a variety of irregularities, dual forms etc. in czech. Czech orthography is complicated when compared to croatian or finish, but is relatively simple when compared to french or english. One can say that czech orthography is phonological, but it takes into consideration also morphology and etymology. Czech is spoken primarily in Czech republic. There are some czech minorities in Australia, Argentina, Romania and USA. Czech is quite popular for foreigners to study, also it is spoken only by aproximately 12 mln. of people. The czech word order is different from the word order of english or french, that is relatively restrictive. The czech word order is on the other hand relatively free. Often all the permutations of words in a clause are possible. The concept of czech word order introduced Vilem Mathesius - the co-founder of Prague Linguistic Circle. Towards the sources of poetry: theory of the genesis of literary work by Jacques Maritain
Jelínková, Klára ; Vojvodík, Josef (advisor) ; Jiráček, Pavel (referee)
This dissertation deals with the Maritain's art theory from the point of view of its potential contribution to the theory of literature. The contribution is considered to concentrate particularly in the definition of the artistic work as such on the basis of the specific poetic knowledge. Poetic knowledge is a special non-conceptional kind of knowledge, which takes place through emotions, through which the artist by means of his subjectivity portrays some unique aspect of the existence. Maritain's theory of inspiration portrays the artistic work from the very beginning, from the moment the creative intuition is born in the spirit of the artist until the final embodying of this intuition in the given art work. This theory marks also the way of passing the sense of the art work to the spectator. In the first part of the dissertation, wider context of the Maritain's philosophy is presented with particular emphasis on the philosophy of the history and on epistemology - areas, which are closely connected with the Maritain's art theory. Epistemology - because Maritain defines the art particularly by the special way of knowledge, philosophy of the history - particularly in relation to the theory of self-awareness of the poetry. The dissertation is furthermore focused first on the general definition of the fine...

The poetry of Vlado Oláh (in the context of Slovakian Romany poets)
Vyskočilová, Iva ; Sadílková, Helena (referee) ; Červenka, Jan (advisor)
The thesis deals with themes in the poetry of Vlado Oláh, one of the foremost Gypsy/Romany poets. The main themes of Oláh's oeuvre can be found in Khamori luluďi - Slunečnice (The sunflower), his poetry debut. They are further elaborated on in his next poetry books Khamutno kamiben - Žár lásky (The fire of love) and Amaro drom pal o udut - Naše cesta za světlem (Our path towards the light). A part of the thesis is also dedicated to poetry forms of Oláh's writings. In his poetry, Oláh mainly deals with love, nature and Romany community life seen as a Romany life-style ideal. The author also puts great emphasis on links with the Mother- Earth and the need of revitalization of these links which are to bring a resurrection of the human spirit. Appeals for human brotherhood and revitalization of human kind are ubiquitous features of Oláh's poetry. An active Christian, he is professing his faith and glorifies the Christian religion. For Oláh, Christianity provides the blueprint for a pure life and a sense of human existence. His poetry also touches Romany rights, the idea of tolerance between people, racism and the reconstruction and development of romipen, principles of traditional Romany life. Another part of the thesis focuses on poetry of some other Romany poets with a special emphasis on topics and poetry...

Pietas bohemica transformata. The transformation of Czech popular religiosity and its sources in the 18th and 19th centuries with special focus on the region of Eastern Bohemia
Nešpor, Zdeněk ; Maur, Eduard (advisor)
The thesis is concemed with the study of Czech popular religiosity during the transition from a "pre-modem", heteroreferential society, through enlightened modemisation transformations, to the beginnings of a modem, autoreferential society. It is because of this, together with the importance of extemal institutional changes, that the author has chosen the period from the so-called Rebellion of Opocno (1732) to the issue of the Protestant Decree (1861), which equalised Protestant churches with those of the Catholics. This period of interest includes the issue of the Tolerance Decree, the development of the Czech national movement, the revolution of 1848, and the issue of the so-called Protestant Provisory. The thesis focuses mainly on the region of Eastem Bohemia, since this contained the highest concentration of secret non-Catholics in the pre-Tolerance period, together with high concentrations of the allowed Protestant confessions (Augsburg and Reformed confessions) and unallowed sectarians later; moreover this area become the most important source of small Protestant churches and transformed the sectarian movement later on. The research has combined historico-sociological and historico-anthropological approaches in order to gain a deeper understanding of the religious ideas of unprivileged sections of the...

Chlaňová, Alice ; Švestka, Jiří (advisor) ; Salač, Josef (referee)
Alice Chlaňová Odpovědnost za škodu způsobenou vadným výrobkem 64 9. The liability for damage caused by defect of a product In my diploma thesis, I am concerned with one of the tools of policy to protect consumers that I consider as a very important and useful in the times of open market and free movement of goods. The tool discussed is the liability for damage caused by defect of a product, which entered in force on the 1st of June 1998 by the particular law no 59/1998 Coll., as amended by Act no 209/2000 Coll. The principal point of this civil proceedings is to enlarge heavily the present consumer protection formed mainly by the statutory regulation that is stated in the law no 634/1992 Coll., law on consumer protection, then in the law no 22/1997 Coll., law on technical requirements of products and others. I have been trying to conceive the law about the liability for damage caused by the defect of product from all basic viewpoints. It means that I am interested mainly in circumstances that the special regulation was adopted; what caused its mooring in the Czech legislation; consequences for consumers and also for producers. Furthermore, there is a survey of its correspondence with European regulation from which the Czech legislative regulation of liability for damage caused by defect of a product...

Management tools utilization for disclosing firm's constraints
Grégr, Jiří ; Chocholatý, Drahomír (advisor) ; Volráb, Ondřej (referee)
This diploma thesis is focused on the use of management tools and practices specialized in finding organizations constraints that limit their performance and make it impossible to effectively achieve their goal. The tools can be divided into static ones that describe relationships between causes and their effects using causal relations and dynamic ones that are oriented on cyclical relations that appear in periods. Although those dynamic tools are not suitable enough for validating causal relations they can better visualize these relations in time. Both of the tools are based on the principle that the user has to change the way of thinking when looking for undesirable effects in the system. The theoretical part of the thesis is extended by Greiner growth model that describes growth phases of organizations and typical problems that appear in each phase. Thus this model can be used to help uncover causes of organizations constraints. Practical part of the thesis is focused on application of the tools and on finding the main constraint in a small software company. It is divided into a few parts: company description, proposal of requirement collection and its implementation, description of relationships between the company and external systems, proposal of an improvement of a notation that is used for diagramming current state of problems in a company, diagramming the current reality tree and finding the main constraint. The contribution of the thesis lies in depicting advantages and disadvantages of the tools used for finding company constraints and in application of one of the tools including the proposal of improvement. The conclusion includes recommendations for improvement implementation that help to eliminate main company constraint and increase the system performance.

Mišurec, David ; Chlapek, Dušan (advisor) ; Popílek, Jaroslav (referee)
Aim of this diploma thesis is to develop a referential catalogue of public administration services, which should provide its users with summary of services provided by public administration. Theoretical part of thesis at first defines notions and presents problems connected with providing public administration services in context of development in period after Velvet revolution in Czech Republic. After that, work follows with global situation in European Union and concentrates on one country (Austria) and its services. During design of the catalogue was used actual knowledge and research about service providing, which reflects customer oriented approach and access through single point of contact. The necessity of splitting the whole process of service providing into two parts, service access and service execution part, is emphasized. Within design of catalogue are presented two main models -- domain model describing the structure of catalogue itself and service model, describing services. Based on analysis of possible uses and its integration potential with existing systems are defined its main benefits and is devised integrating principles designed in catalogue into "Portal veřejné správy".
