Right of succesion

Resumé The following dissertation is entitled "the Law of Succession" and deals with the rights of iheritance and some questions related to it. The first part of the dissertation defines the law of succession and its basic principles. The second part illustrates how the law of succession had developed in the history of the Czech Republic. In particular, it deals in greater detail with the adjustment of the law of succession according to the Civil Code from 1812, as the author considers this adjustment to be the crucial for both older and latest codifications. Further the dissertation deals with the adjustment and basic changes in the Civil Codes from 1950 and 1964. In the last part, the author discusses the contemporary Civil Code and some questions relating to the course of inheritance proceedings. The author analyzes the proces of inheritance itself, the existence of property included in the right of inheritance, the reason for the right of inheritance relating to a concrete person, disinheritance, the will of testator, intestacy and inheritance by will. Finally, the author introduces the Bill of the new Czech Civil Code.

Social security of students

The aim of this thesis is to describe complex issues in the social security system in relation to students, to identify their positions in all social security systems and especially in social insurance. According to the main objective the work is divided into three chapters. The first is a general part, where is mentioned how Social Security was created, how it evolved, what it means, what is the object, system and springs. The second chapter is focused directly on Social Security Czech Republic, shows how it is structured and which systems contains. The third chapter is very specific and is aimed directly at students. It is divided into four essential parts. The first unit deals with the position of students in sickness, pension and health insurance systems, but also in state aid and social assistance. The second part of the third chapter is refered to cases of overlapping studies, while self-employment and in part three overlapping studies and jobs. At the end of the third chapter the mention of even a single is, uncommon scenario, where the student performs during the study both activities, self-employment and also occupation. Question is, if the student has some benefits in social security. What advantages has self-employed person or employee, who is at the same time also a student?

Surveillance and Ethics

The theme of the dissertation is surveillance. Its aim is to answer the following question: up to what extend do we live in a society, which may be described as a surveillance society. For this purpose it defines, what is meant by surveillance, how surveillance evolved through history, which theories relevantly describe this phenomenon and in which spheres surveillance is notable. The dissertation introduces the main theories of the multi-disciplinary field of surveillance studies, which has been developing over the last twenty years. Special attention is focused on CCTV systems. At the same time, the thesis focuses on ethical problems of surveillance, i.e. privacy, discrimination, social exclusion, transparency and responsibility.

Communication in preschool children

Preschool education was declared as a start and therefore a foundation for the process of lifelong education. This period is considered to be the one of the most important in terms of acquiring communicative competence. A child should be at such a level that he/she should be able to express him/herself fluently, listen in on. establish relations with his/her contemporaries as well as adults. Not only family but also kindergarten and nursery, whose main aim is to prepare children for entrance to primary school, play big part in developing of these abilities. The main theme in this dissertation (diploma paper) is the analyse of preschool children's communicative competence regarding the endogenous and exogenous factors. Teoretical part of this work is focusing on key words, problems of communications and pedagogical communications, questions of psychological development of personality and development of communication skills of preschool children. Practical part is presented by three studies, whose aims are to observe and analyse level of children 's communication and also attitude of parents and kindergartens towards the development of their communication skills. Reasons for staying in the House for mothers with childrech in need in Havlovice

This bachelor´s dissertation explains the reasons why the House for mother with children in trouble is used as social service. The theoretical part is composed of five parts. The first chapter deals with the basic function of the family, functionality of the family and factors which endanger the functionality of family. The second chapter introduces problems of lonely parent and hazards associated with it. The third chapter explains what the social exclusion related to the theme of the work. The fourth section deals with social service Home for mother with children in trouble - which is one of the form of support. Independent research is presented in the fith chapter. The author explains what qualitative research and structured interview is. Description of the place and researched sample follows it. Inhabitants of the House for mother with children in trouble serve as researched sample. Next part deals with structured interviews with respondents. Conclusion evaluates knowledge from the research.

Travel 2.0 - new forms of tourism in the age of evolving web 2.0 technologies

Tématem diplomové práce je fenomén web 2.0, respektive jeho aplikace a služby zaměřené na oblast turismu a cestovního ruchu - tzv. travel 2.0. Cílem práce je vymezit pojem travel 2.0, upozornit na jeho přínosy uživatelům a prozkoumat, jakým způsobem travel 2.0 ovlivňuje turismus a cestovní ruch a jaký je jeho další potenciál v této oblasti (jaký vliv má např. na ekonomické, sociologické či environmentální aspekty turismu). První část práce je věnována teoretickým aspektům a principům webu 2.0, ale také technologickému pozadí této problematiky. Pojednány jsou jednotlivé charakteristiky webu 2.0 včetně kritiky celého konceptu. Další část práce se zabývá lidovou tvořivostí na internetu a možnostmi tvorby sdíleného obsahu v kontextu problematiky travel 2.0 se zaměřením na blog a mashup. Ve třetí části je zkoumán vliv travel 2.0 služeb na ekonomické aspekty turismu a dopady na spotřebitelské chování uživatelů těchto služeb. Pojednán je také vztah globalizace a turismu. Čtvrtá část je věnována alternativním formám turismu a významnému působení travel 2.0 na tuto podoblast cestovního ruchu. Poslední část se pak zabývá možnostmi travel 2.0 na poli trvale udržitelného rozvoje turismu a jeho využitím pro šetrné a zodpovědné cestování vzhledem k environmentálním a dalším otázkám.

The sales contract and its consumer aspects

76 Résumé Purchase Contract and its Consumer Aspects This diploma thesis is concerned with the purchase contract and its consumer aspects. After the introductory, in the second chapter, the thesis defines generally the purchase contract as one of the most important contracts in the Czech legal system at all, including its roots reaching to the Roman law. In the third chapter, the thesis describes the consumer protection in the Czech legal system, which is traditionally divided into two sections - the consumer protection provided by the public law and the consumer protection provided by the private law. Both, the public law and the private law interfere reciprocally to each other and so they build the complex of the consumer protection in the whole legal system in the Czech Republic. In the forth chapter, this dissertation distinguishes between the application of the legal regulation in the Czech Civil Code and the Czech Commercial Code and it depicts the rules of application of both these Acts. Further, this chapter thoroughly analyses the unambiguous term of consumer. The term of consumer is in the Czech legal system defined on many places in various codes and so the interpretation implies troubles with understanding. The relationship between an attorney and his client under the contract of mandate

67 The relation between the attorney-at-law and his client based on the mandate contract In my dissertation I have described the relation between the attorney-at-law and his client based on the mandate contract and the legal regulations, what refers about it. This relation is established generally by signature of the contract of rendition of legal aid, but sometimes the relation between attorney-at-law and client comes into being by the decision of court or by institution of Czech bar association. At the beginning of my dissertation I explicated the notions as attorney-at-law, client, mandate contract and then in the most important chapter the content of this relation. It means discretions and duties, what have the subjects of this relation. All of these discretions and duties are defined in the Advocacy Act, in the Commercial Code and in professional regulations of the Czech bar association for example Ethics Code, Disciplinary Code or Layer's fee. I mentioned about the duty of the attorney-at-law to defend and promote of the interests of client, duty to give notice to the client, duty to behave conform the client's suggestions, duty to reticence, duty to have the adequate documentation, duty to insure against the responsibility for damage, discretion of the fee - contract fee or noncontractual fee and so...

The Company in a Competitive Environment

This bachelor dissertation deals with a position of the selected company in a competitive environment. The dissertation is divided into two parts, theoretical and practical one. The theoretical part determines substantial terms which have been mentioned within the dissertation and creates reinforcement for practical part of the thesis. The latter part identifies mainly terms like a company and its goals, fundamental types of competitive environment and analysis of internal and external environment. The practical part is devoted to the analysis of the company METAL STEEL s. r. o., which sells stainless and carbon steel. The financial analysis, collecting chosen ratio indexes, helps to evaluate a situation of the company. Further more there is a description of the main competitors on the market. The current position of the company is reviewed in accordance with comparison method. The SWOT analysis was utilized for identification of strong and weak aspects/points of the company in the conclusion part of the thesis.

Motivation as a tool of performance management

The aim of the dissertation called Motivation as a tool of performance management is to analyze the present condition of the motivation system in the company Ahold and eventually base on recognized imperfections to suggest and help increase employee performance. The dissertation is divided in a theoretical and a practical part. In the theoretical part leader and manager, motivation, sources of motivation, theories of motivation and achievement motivation are defined. Further attention is devoted to direction and evaluation of work performance. The theoretical part is followed by the practical part, which contains company characteristics, analysis of the current motivation system, where empirical research investigates motivation and her impact on satisfaction and performance employee. At the end of the dissertation there are stated and proposed recommended changes, which should contribute to better performance and motivation of the employee.
