Active control of the wake behind the cylinder
Broučková, Zuzana ; Flídr, Erik ; Šafařík, P. ; Trávníček, Zdeněk
Active control of the flow around a cylinder using synthetic jet (SJ) array was experimentally investigated. The prevailing method was flow visualization. Modification of the wake was investigated at two values of a dimensionless momentum coefficient (Cμ = 0.21 and 1.02). Various α and Cf parameters were tested (where α is the angle between SJs and the main flow direction and Cf is the frequency ratio). The control moves separation point more downstream. Increasing frequency ratio Cf causes refining of the vortex structure. When SJs are placed at the front or rear stagnation points, wake tends towards the symmetrical pattern.

Costs were determined in crowns for particular line of construction works calculation according to the ordinary calculation pattern which is using in CZ. Conversion of costs from Russian currency (RUB) to CZK was made with an actual currency course. The consequence of the work is analysis and evaluation of difference of construction costs.

GROTESQUE IN CONTEMPORARY SPANISH WRITTEN DRAMA
Melicharová, Tereza ; JOBERTOVÁ, Daniela (advisor) ; SIKORA, Roman (referee)
This thesis concerns abour contemporary Spanish and Argentinian one-act play with characteristics of grotesque. It's porpose is to present a creation of five playwrights: E. Soler, V. Winner, R. Spregelburd, A. Tantanian and J. Daulte. Spanish production is represented by Soler's trilogy Against progress, Against love and Against democracy, Argentinian one-act play typifies Winner's play Postal de vuelo and an one-act play called Escala Humana, writen by Spregelburd, Tantanian and Daulte. This thesis puts an interpretation on contacts between spanish and argentinian theatre and explains specifics of spanish-argentinian theatre context. It studies the genre of the grotesque from the philosophical and esthetical view as a way of depiction of contemporary word and it tries to find common formal principles and topics, that recur in five studied plays. In fifty five one act plays the thesis discovers repeating mental patterns, which critically reflect the course of contemporary western civilization. These topics divides into eight chapters: "Individualism", "Prison in a system", "Deformation of interpersonal relationships", "Hypermoden capitalims and crisis of the democracy", "Crisis of the religion", "Dehumanization", "Course to the apokalypse?". The fundamental part of the thesis is a philosophic reflection of these topics and interpretation of concrete one act-plays with the intend to outline how the playwrights work with the topics in their plays.

State and botanical composition of turfs on selected football playgrounds and possibilities of their improvement
BĚLÍK, Michal
The aim of my thesis was to assess the condition of the lawn at selected football pitches. At individual courses that were selected for analysis to determine the composition of the stands and was designed to measure the maintenance and improvement of grassland selected courses. The literature review includes knowledge about the history and significance of grassland. An important role is also played by the different grass species suitable for football lawns. It also includes the lawn care, which consists of proper irrigation, fertilization, mowing, etc. Finally, it plays a very significant role requirements on the football field and categorization system football pitches. The literature review will also find a brief characterization of individual pests, diseases and weeds in the lawn. To assess the pattern grass samples were taken for analysis grass species of three football pitches and a football club Spartak Pelhřimov, sports club Ústrašín and sports club Žirov. Subsequently, an analysis of individual lawns. Football clubs FK Spartak Pelhřimov and FC Žirov had the best mix of grassland. For the football field team FC Ústrašín was grassland at individual locations in worse condition, and therefore was recommended various measures, which consisted of a better fertilization, irrigation, sow empty seats etc.

Precopulatory behavior in firebug Pyrrhocoris apterus
Křivánek, Miloš ; Jarošík, Vojtěch (advisor) ; Stejskal, Václav (referee)
The existing research works, dealing with pre-copulatory behaviour in Pyrrhocoris apterus (L.), show that this behaviour follows a simple pattern of mating. The aim of this work is to extend knowledge regarding this type of behaviour. Results were obtained by processing the video footage to monitor the behaviour of individuals of the Central European population (the Czech Republic) as occurred in the respective copulatory zone. Changes were observed in the occurrence and mating activity of each sex depending on climatic conditions and time. Furthermore, the course of individual phases of the mating behaviour, based on mutual interactions and under the influence of external factors, was also observed. These results were supplemented by adding data gained from laboratory experiments, taking place at a temperature of 22 ± 4 řC and involving a long- day type photoperiodic reaction. Based on the results gained, it had been revealed that the climatic conditions significantly influenced the course of behaviour. Individuals of both sexes are physically active during the photo-phase when the intensity of this activity changes in the course of the circadian rhythm. Females display a higher sensitivity to any variation in climate. Males who are influenced by the presence of receptive females show greater locomotive...

The effect of an early Reflex locomotion therapy according prof. Vojta in children with postpartum paresis of Brachial plexus and its social influence from the view of parents
PLACHÁ, Milena
The thesis topic is "The influence of the early therapy by reflex locomotion according to Vojta on children with brachial plexus palsy postpartum and its social impact from the perspective of their parents."The brachial plexus (BP) consists of nerve bundles based on radicular segments C5-Th1. Innervate muscles girdle blades, shoulder, arm and hand. When BP is damaged the mobility may be impaired (paresis to plegia of muscles), sensation (hypoesthesia to anesthesia, paresthesia, pain) and vegetative symptoms can appear (discoloration and skin temperature changes, changes in hair, nail brittleness). Types of BP palsy are classified according to clinical and anatomic course. Paresis of upper type (Erb-Duchene) is the most common and has the best prognosis, clinically manifest by the adduction and internal rotation of the upper limb, the elbow in extension, the wrist in flexion, the limb is poor, the gripping reflex present. During the paralysis of the lower type (Déjerine-Klumpke) the wrist flexion is not possible and the hand grip is poor or absent, and when there is a disruption of the cervical sympathetic the Horner's syndrome appears. An isolated paresis of the secondary trunk with disabilities muscles innervated n. Radialis is rare. During the complete lesion BP the whole limb is plegic with anesthesia all dermatomes excluding the inner arm. The complete lesion BP has the worst prognosis. BP perinatal injury arises in connection with childbirth. Despite the knowledge of risk factors we fail to prevent these injuries. With all children with postnatal paresis BP the initiation of conservative treatment is indicated, some children require neurosurgery. With some children a residual limb dysfunction remains after the treatment. Among the consequences we include permanent residual paresis, postural abnormalities, limb bone deformities, contractures of joints, shortened arm. Delays in mental development and cognitive impairment are related to motor disorders. The early and quality diagnosis and the immediate initiation of therapy is the prerequisite for successful treatment. The therapy should prevent the development of pathological patterns of movement and evoke and restore optimum momentum. The main aim is the restoration of innervation and hand function and the second one is the elbow flexion and the third is the arm abduction. Vojta method of reflex locomotion is one of the methods used for conservative treatment of peripheral paresis. In therapy, congenital partial patterns of forward movement global models, which is reflective crawling and reflective rotation, are activated. These patterns are inborn but with children with locomotor disorders these are blocked. By repeated targeted activation we can achieve the correct fixation of the correct models and thus enable their use in spontaneous motor fluctuations and pathological compensatory movements are displaced. Reflex locomotion favorably influences other functions such as posture and its management, neurological status, the development of mental and autonomic functions, and oculomotoric and disproportionate growth. The goal of the treatment is to reduce the disability degree and to minimize the future disability and handicap. Improving the quality of the child´s life leads to improvement of the life quality for the entire family. The theoretical part is devoted to BP palsy therapy and reflex locomotion according to Vojta. First, the function of peripheral nervous system is characterised, the other part is devoted to BP injury - mechanisms of injury, diagnosis, treatment options, BP perinatal injuries and rehabilitation of patients with spinal BP. The chapter dealing with Vojta describes the basic principles of Vojta method - reflexive crawling and reflexive rotation. The final chapter deals with the birth of a handicapped child, the need to support families and individuals affected especially in the psychological and sociological levels.

The method of selection based on quotes was used, the quotes being: sex, type of school, and year of study. Results: A wide range of data about attitudes, knowledge and real...

Web Analytics: Identification of new trends
Slavík, Michal ; Kliegr, Tomáš (advisor) ; Nekvasil, Marek (referee)
The goal of this thesis is to identify the main trends in the field of tools used to analyse web traffic. The necessary theoretical background is extracted from relevant literature and field research is chosen to gain knowledge of practitioners. Following trends have been identified: a growth in demand for Web Analytics software, an increasing interest in Web Analytics courses, an enlargment of measuring Web 2.0 and social networks, use of semantic information as the most fruitful section of academic research. The thesis also presents the main techniques of Web Usage Mining: association rules, sequential patterns, and clustering. A section about query categorization is also included. According to the field research, practitioners express most interest in clustering. The first two chapters present Web Analytics in general and introduce the main aspects of current applications. The third chapter covers theoretical research, the fifth one presents results of the field research. The fourth chapter raises the point that terminology of Web Analytics is not unified.

Intonation of a monosyllabic word as part of a polysyllabic stress-group
Spilková, Helena ; Volín, Jan (referee) ; Palková, Zdena (advisor)
The diploma work focuses on investigating the melodic properties of compound stress-groups (i.e. polysyllabic stress-groups that include a monosyllabic word). The primary method is the analysis of melodic course in ambiguous syllable sequences. In each of these syllable sequences, one meaning alternative included a monosyllable in various positions and the other alternative was constituted by polysyllabic words only. The melodic course data are simultaneously correlated with the perception test results that provide a feedback on perception of individual instances. By comparing various instances of compound stress-groups the work pursues the detection of melodic patterns that occur in compound stress-groups unlike in simple stress-groups (formed by one word only). The work also contains a melodic transcription system design intended to retain melodic properties on the stress-group level.
