International economic organizations and impact of their activities on international trade development
Jovičić, Elena ; Sato, Alexej (advisor) ; Štěrbová, Ludmila (referee) ; Čajka, Peter (referee)
The necessity for a more adequate regulation of global trade relations (including support for the liberalization and development of international trade), in the context of the deepening globalization processes, requires a greater level of involvement of international economic organizations and more effective implementation of their activities. The primary purpose of the dissertation is to determine whether and how the World Trade Organization, the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development, the International Monetary Fund and the World Bank Group have influenced the development of international trading system. The results of this thesis show that international organizations (primarily WTO and UNCTAD) during various stages of its development have been significantly affecting international trade growth mainly through the implementation of specific activities and measures related to a series of agreements and decisions. However, international organizations have had a divergent impact on international trade. The effectiveness of the implementation of specific activities and programs were depending on the political and economic situation of member countries, as well as the governments´ readiness and willingness to implement these measures. On the other hand, the effectiveness of realization of specific activities have been affected by either the internal weaknesses of the organizations, or the insufficient level of cooperation and coordination in the implementation of joint programs and measures aimed at international trade development.

This diploma thesis introduces the positive influence of ecological agriculture on the quality of environment as well as human health. Support of organic farming depends both on state support, but also on each individual consumer, through his demand for organic food. The aim of the thesis is to evaluate the demand for the organic production of the mountain farm Abertamy and to suggest appropriate marketing strategy. The analysis is realized by marketing minds research of consumers in the Karlovy Vary region. For this purpose, the interviewing technique is used. Finally, based on the given hypothesis and SWOT analysis of companys data, acquired by own investigation, the marketing strategy and its implementation are proposed to the farm.

Regulation of gene expression of HSP70 genes and its dependence on the genotype of HSP70 genes.
Ambrož, Antonín ; Novota, Peter (advisor) ; Kotrbová - Kozak, Anna Katarzyna (referee)
The topic of the presented thesis is the regulation of gene expression level of the three HSP70 genes in mononuclear cells. We investigated the dependence of expression regulation (induction) abiliy on selected point mutations, so-called SNPs (single nucleotide polymorphism) in the observed genes. The mononuclear cells were obtained from peripheral blood samples of healthy individuals. In order to analyze their gene expression, we selected individuals who were homozygous for at least one of the monitored point mutations. Taking into account the chosen criteria for healthy individuals we based on interviews with these individuals and their personal history. We determined the polymorphisms observed in two cell stress-inducible HSP70-1 (HSPA1A) and HSP70-2 (HSPA1B) genes and in one constitutively expressed gene HSP70-Hom (HSPA1L). Further, we have analyzed HSP70s gene expression regulation and the relation between the expression regulation and studied polymorphisms. We determined the degree of regulation of a gene expression in the studied genes in relation to two SNPs -110A/C (rs1008438), +190G /C (rs1043618) gene HSP70-1, and two SNPs +1267A/G (rs1061581), +2074G /C (rs539689 ) of the HSP70-2 gene, and the mutation of one five-nucleotide (rs9281590) HSP70-2 gene, and one SNP +2437T/C (rs2227956) of...

Použití metody ideálního a neideálního tlakového skoku pro kLa měření a vliv přídavku elektrolytu na zádrž plynu a kLa v probublávané koloně
Fialová, Marie ; Orvalho, Sandra ; Zedníková, Mária ; Růžička, Marek ; Drahoš, Jiří
The dependences of the volumetric liquid-side mass transfer coefficient, kLa and the gas holdup on gas superficial velocities (0.01-0.20 m s-1) in coalescent and non-coalescent media are presented. The effect of coalescence on kLa values and gas holdup in heterogeneous bubbling regime is discussed. The empirical relations for limiting dependences of kLa and gas holdup values for electrolyte addition in bubble column obtained from experimental data are presented.

Methods for identification of PHA producing bacteria
Skřivanová, Veronika ; Turková, Kristýna (referee) ; Obruča, Stanislav (advisor)
This diploma thesis deals with testing, optimazing and comparing methods for the identification of bacteria producing polyhydroxyalkanoates. Work included cultivation and microscopy methods, wherein the bacterial cells were stained with lipophilic dyes Nile red and Sudan black. Further, we also used flow cytometry and spectroscopic methods - Raman spectroscopy and infrared spectroscopy with Fourier transformation, and molecular biological methods, which analyzed the presence of a gene encoding PHA synthase (phaC) by polymerase chain reaction (PCR). PCR assay consist of two reactions, the firt on eis based on amplification of phaC gene along with 16S rRNDA gene, which is common for all the bacteria (multiplex PCR). The second reaction is focused on specific amplification of PHA synthase catalyzing biosynthesis of mcl-PHA. In order to overcome false positive results typical for methods analyzing genotype and also to avoid false negative results occuring in fenotype analyzing methods, the best strategy is to combine both aproaches. According to our results, analysis of presence of phaC gene by PCR can be combined with methods capable of determining presence of PHA in bacterial cells. For this purpose, Raman microspectroscopy seems to be very promising tool, since it is able to detect low content of PHA in cells and PHA can not be confused with other lipid metabolites. The results provide an overview of test methods, their advantages and disadvantages and also to compare different criteria according to which it is possible to choose the method of identification in depending on the adjustable requirements.
