Kušniráková, Dana ; Procházková, Markéta (advisor) ; Čatloš, Dušan (referee)
The non-profit sector is a topic which is being discussed on an increasing basis, especially when speaking of a consumer society like the present one. Organizations of the non-profit sector and various voluntary associations are here to help the people who met the cruel side of fate and who are often neglected not only by ordinary people but also by the state. The topic of this Bachelor Thesis is the application of marketing in a particular non-profit organization and its use and subsequent development respectively. The Thesis consists of three parts. In the first part, I focus on theoretical background, i.e. what are the non-profit organizations, their classification, funding and the description of marketing in a non-profit organization at the theoretical level. The second part deals with a specific organization, its historical development, marketing mix applied in the organization and financing of this organization. At the end of the second part I tried to bring the benefits of the non-profit organization to a hospital ward, where the organization operates.

Physical punishment of children by parents.
Gilarová, Bronislava ; Vorlová, Marie (advisor) ; Macnerová, Jana (referee)
I deal with topic "Physical punishment of children by parents" in my final work. The aim of my work is to find opinions and attitudes expressed by students of Pastoral and Social Work at Evangelistic Theological Faculty, Charles University of Prague, concerning the problematic of physical punishment. I think that opinions on the topic between lay and professional community differ, and there is need of more discussion. I have chosen students as I share age, lifestyle and ideas with this group of people. I study these opinions from the perspective of both full-time and part-time students, because I'm interested in the possibly contrasting ways the problematic of physical punishment is perceived by my peer group and by part-time students, who can be much older and have much more experience with bringing up children. I intentionally study opinions of men and woman separately, because I think that it is interesting to find out about the views of women as potential mothers and men as potential fathers on the problematic. I want to achieve my aim by quantitative research, using the means questionnaire. I also establish a presumption: " I don't consider prohibition of all forms of physical punishment completely correct and necessary, and I think that students of Pastoral and Social Work will be of the same opinion....

The concept of woman on the background of social change at the turn of the 19. century (1895-1905)
Košutová, Klára ; Sochorová, Ludmila (referee) ; Štěpánová, Irena (advisor)
The paper is focused on studying the traditional concept of woman in view of its conflict with the gradually enforced demands of women within the feminist movement. The main demands of women on their way to coequality were the right to higher education, free choice of occupation, and unsegregated legal status. As they struggle for their rights, the traditional concept of woman, which places her in a role of domesticity, is used as a strong instrument against their wishes. A woman is only supposed to be a wife, mother and a housewife and she is considered incapable of and unfit to gain any other position in society. The concept of unequal status of a woman particularly governed middle class life, depicting a specific glamour in the role of an ideal woman and family life. Social changes brought up by industrial revolution and upheavals in demographic equilibrium where the percentage of women alarmingly outnumbered that of men confronted society with the task of increasing quantity of women left without possibility of subsistence, either by occupation or marrying a male- provider. Hostility toward the new claims of women was based on men's fear of competition and an unwillingness to share heretofore exclusively men's domains of power; the higher education system, the labor market and the right to vote. It...

Logistic process optimization
Machová, Marie ; Říhová, Zora (advisor) ; Věk, Jakub (referee)
Managing the process of a product's development prior to its release is the dominant theme of this graduation thesis. In today's modern turbulent world, businesses compete to be a strong force in the market arena. From start to finish it is necessary to keep the consumer's demands and wants as the driving force when managing the operation. Factors that are critical in the implementation of the operation are working with a manageable portfolio, forecasting unforeseen expenses, profit gains and losses. Purchasing the most recent and efficient software program or electronics to assist in the operation could be more effective but more expensive upfront. On the other hand, purchasing a complex program or electronics will be ineffective if the user is unable to comprehend its complete functions or abilities. Proper and thorough analysis is necessary in foreseeing all possible obstacles to a smooth operation. Presently, it is not uncommon for companies to implement new technology without previous analysis. The result is a rapidly growing demand for a product reliant on this technology to help produce or support it. As a result, they find themselves in a tight spot very soon. Resolving the issue consists of additional and extended analyses of changes and in the reimplementation of the technology, a process that can be slow and tap into an already tight budget. In conclusion, this dissertation surmises that documentation of and organized implementation of processes in a real manufacturing corporation is necessary to improve not only the quality of processes in support of reaching economic targets but also in assuring quality labour performances of all employees.

Kolářová, Kateřina ; Hupková, Martina (referee) ; Perlín, Radim (advisor)
Ability to obtain grant titles in selected rural municipalities Abstract An important theme of the Member States of the European Union is rural development. For the Czech Republic, this topic became current after accession to the EU in 2004. In previous years, the Czech Republic had the opportunity to benefit from pre-accession programs (e.g. PHARE, SAPARD) in the period 2004-2006 to use all the tools for the development of European countryside. The uniqueness of the programming period 2007-2013 is the ability to draw funds in the entire length of the programming period, and a wide range of support. The bachelor thesis deals with the cause of the success of profit grant titles of the Rural Development Programme, Operational Programme for Environment and Regional Operation Programme NUTS II Southwest. Its aim is to analyze the influence of the causes for profit grant titles of selected programs and determine whether appearance, geographic location, and civic and technical facilities of the municipalities affects the volume of money obtained from grant titles. Attention is focused on the municipalities district Klatovy in size of 500-999 people. Keywords: rural development, rural municipalities, grant titles, appearance, civic and technical facilities, geographic location

Výskotová, Petra ; Poláková, Olga (advisor) ; Ždímal, Martin (referee)
Theme of this diploma work are problems of equal opportunities at the labour market. The first part concentrates on unequality between men and women, causes of different social statuses, basic terms and legislative framework of equal opportunities of men and women in the European Union and the Czech Republic. Overview of present social status of women at the labour market is given by the analysis of basic statistic indicators differentiated by gender. Apart from the European Union, which set up equal opportunities as one of its fundamental goals, important initiators of gender precautions are individual companies. Therefore following parts of my work concentrate on companies' attitude to equal opportunities and first of all on main reasons for implementation of individual precautions and concrete steps, which should support the improvement of present situation. The last chapter deals with costs and benefits consequent upon implementation of equal opportunities and shows those precautions that certify in practice.
