Hydrogen fuel for internal combustion engines
Polnický, Václav ; Novotný, Pavel (referee) ; Píštěk, Václav (advisor)
Knowledge of all ower the world research, dealing with hydrogen combustion engines, were sumarized in this bachelor thesis. Ways of hydrogen production and its storing are mentioned too. This paper is focused especially to hydrogen-air mixture formation and its ignition solving. Some samples of hydrogen cars –booth of prototypes and serial products- were introduced too.
Unsuccessful conceptions of combustion engines
Martinec, Jiří ; Blaťák, Ondřej (referee) ; Zháňal, Lubor (advisor)
The main aim of the bachelor thesis was to study unsuccessful conceptions of combustion engines. It determines a brief summary of abortive directions in development of combustion engines, classifying them by structial design, as well specifying reasons of failure. It clarifies working principles and summarize possible pros and cons of each conception.
Turbochargers for internal combustion engines.
Holík, Petr ; Martinec, Jiří (referee) ; Škorpík, Jiří (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with theme of turbochargers for internal combustion engines and shows basic systematic view of this theme. The work is divided into three main chapters. The first chapter deals with historical development and usage of turbochargers. The second chapter attends to working principle and energy transformation in the turbochargers. In the third chapter there are mentioned main types of turbochargers and their parameters and worldwide producers.
Cable winch
Kudláček, Miroslav ; Kašpárek, Jaroslav (referee) ; Malášek, Jiří (advisor)
The goal of my bachelor´ s thesis is to find a construction solution for a cable winch for a safe take-off of model gliders of a wingspan of maximum 5 m, a weight of 5kg and with a maximum take-off speed of 17 m.s-1. The thesis includes a project of a winding drum, including a control calculation, alternatives, the choice of a drive unit and a ductile element and a project of a frame.
Combustion Engines for Sport Purpose
Smékal, Tomáš ; Ramík, Pavel (referee) ; Dundálek, Radim (advisor)
This article contains description of basic principles of combustion engine, its parts, which suplies motor run and description of possible adjustments for motorsport too. I wrote down some of interesting racing engines and I try to characterize some of most famous world championship. I tried to understand combustion motor runnig, it is the base for building or modifying engines for real racing or modifies productions engines at low level.
Usage exhaust gas in combustion engine for improvment engine quality
Fusek, Petr ; Drápal, Lubomír (referee) ; Rasch, František (advisor)
This bachelor´s thesis contains information on how to use exhaust gas of engines. It describe the usage of kinetic and thermic energy of exhaust gas which is taken from the engine without any usage. This study includeds basic technical parameters and descriptions of giving analysis and their usage in practice. This bachelor´s thesis assesses theoretical possibilities of exhaust gas and their occurence and structure
Present state of combustion engine transfer to alternative powertrains
Maršálek, Ondřej ; Píštěk, Václav (referee) ; Novotný, Pavel (advisor)
The current state of change from conventional combustion engines to its alternatives is mapped in this bachelor’s diploma thesis. The basic principles and configurations of conventional combustion engines and its existing alternatives are mentioned. The thesis is also dealing with various kinds of alternative fuels; their summary and evaluation are mentioned as well. In the conclusion of the thesis it is foreshadowed in what way the car industry could proceed in the subsequent years.
Fuel for internal combustion engines
Vrbický, Jiří ; Jedelský, Jan (referee) ; Štětina, Josef (advisor)
This thesis is concerned with basic features of fuels for internal consumption engines, especially their influence on thermal efficiency. It also introduces dividing of fuels and their compare in ecologic, economic and technologic side. It is concerned convectional fuels (gasoline, diesel oil) and alternative fuels (nature gas, bottled gas, hydrogen, biodiesel, biogas, methanol and ethanol).
Petrol Direct Injetion - Injection System of Future?
Smilek, Lukáš ; Svída, David (referee) ; Dundálek, Radim (advisor)
This thesis deals with petrol direct injection system in combustion engines. It introduces the key parts of injection system, describes the construction and function of each part, same as declares advantages and disadvantages in confrontation with older way of injection. This work introduces also summary of engines with the petrol direct injection system.
Power Increasing in Combustion Engines
Ehrenberger, Pavel ; Svída, David (referee) ; Dundálek, Radim (advisor)
This thesis contains the summary of information that relates to the problematics of the increasing performance of combustion engines. It describes the familiar ways of supercharging, and assesses the positive and negative aspects of implementation. It also gives information about the constructional resolution, about the functions and technical specifications of turboblowers a compressors, and other posible ways of supercharging. This thesis is pointing out the characteristics of the motor that is designed this specific way and his usage in the working conditions.
