Identity of volhynian Czechs settled in Czech Republic and nonreemigrated volhynian Czechs in Ukraine

This work deals with transnational ties of reemigrated Volhynian Czechs and ethnic return migration of descendants of non-reemigrated Volhynian Czechs. Dissertation was founded on fieldwork in West Ukraine and in the Czech Republic. Researches of reemigrated Volhynian Czechs were studied in terms of integration or adaptation into the Czech (Czechoslovak) society, but this work, in first part, critically shows immigration narrative of Czech (Czechoslovak) social sciences; there were also transnational ties to Ukraine to which reemigrated Volhynian Czech refers as a meaningful. Next part of this work deals with ethnic return migration of descendants of non-reemigrated Volhynian Czechs. Descendants of compatriots have with Ukrainian ethnic consciousness, but Czech state allows them short-term and long-term stays in the Czech Republic thanks to ancestors, so that they are attracted with Czech surroundings, express wishes to migrate into the Czech Republic and they even could obtain permanent residency more easily due to Czech ancestors. Czech state facilitates migration flow from West Ukraine to the Czech Republic according to presume "closeness" of descendants of compatriots to Czech nation. The Significance of Active Scars in the Area of Abdominal Wall and Influence of Physiotherapeutic Approaches

Název: Význam aktivních jizev v oblasti břišní stěny a jejich ovlivnění fyzioterapeutickými přístupy Cíl práce: Vyzdvihnout problematiku hojení mechanicky narušených měkkých tkání a mechanismus tvorby jizvy. Ověřit vliv několik let staré aktivní jizvy v oblasti břišní stěny na okolní i vzdálené struktury a jejich funkci v rámci pohybové soustavy jako celku. Zhodnotit relevantnost jizvy vzhledem k potížím vybraných probandů. Ověřit zda aplikací manuální terapie dojde k ovlivnění kvality jizevnaté tkáně i několik let staré, tkání v jejím okolí a zároveň k ovlivnění ostatních funkcí pohybové soustavy. Metoda: Případová studie, která pracuje se 3 pacienty, jakožto probandy s několik let starou jizvou, na kterých je aplikována fyzioterapeutická intervence. Jsou použity fyzioterapeutické vyšetřovací postupy aspekční a palpační, vč. pohybových funkčních testů. Z terapeutických postupů jsou použity techniky měkkých tkání, exteroceptivní stimulace a aplikace horké role. Výsledky: Ke zpracování výsledků je použita metoda porovnání vstupního a výstupního kineziologického rozboru, porovnání fotodokumentace a subjektivních potíží probandů. Eritrea and Somaliland - comparison of independence struggle

The aim of this thesis is to compare efforts of Eritrea and Somaliland to obtain independence and to find out why Eritrea was in independence obtaining succesful and Somaliland not. Chapter 1 offers a basic theoretical background concerning a question of international law and formation of a state. Based on basic international law documents regarding this topic it describes crucial terms and principles. Further it discusses a question of secession justifiability and it concerns also application of theoretical principles in reality. Chapter 2 includes basic geographical information and ethnical characteristics of population of both regions. Chapter 3 briefly describes history of both states from their emergence up to the beginning of fifties of the last century. The aim of this chapter is to describe international and internal influences which formed uniqueness of both regions within parent states which later supported the efforts to obtain independence. Chapter 4 is devoted to a concrete description of both areas' efforts to obtain independence in the second half of 20th century. It focuses mainly on international negotiations regarding future of both countries, formation and development of independence movements and the concrete course of independence declaration. Chapter 5 evaluates the course and results of independence struggle in both countries.

The influence of the Common Agricultural Policy of the European Union on the Czech international trade with agrarian products

Submitted diploma work deals with the Common Agricultural Policy of European Union and its influence on the Czech international trade with agrarian products. Main objective of this thesis is to highlight the changes in agricultural international trade after the Czech Republic's EU accession, which also meant a full adoption of principles of the Common Agriculture Policy. First, the work is focused on historical development and working of the whole mechanism of the common agriculture policy of the EU. All the reforms up to now are given afterwards. The second half of this diploma work is analyzing the Czech agriculture and regarding the comparison of "pre-accession" period with "post-accession" period it shows the changes that have occurred in the Czech agricultural international trade.

Effect of Trampling on the Vegetation of Dry Grasslands

1 It has been proved that the effect of vegetation trampling (Anthropogenic and animal) significantly changed. The aim of this study was to gather available information of these changes and effects of secondary factors, particularly focusing on the dry-grasslands (Festuco-Brometea). Vegetation on trampling disturbed areas is already much lower, it has less vegetation cover and there is more bare soil. On the bare soils increases temperature and greater evaporation of water. Due to changes of climatic conditions of microhabitats the diversity of species is changing. Vegetation is not changed only on the trampling trails, but also in the surrounding area, up to a distance of 2 meters from the trail. Most vulnerable to trampling and most susceptible for changes in vegetation are moist habitats, the most resistant type of vegetation is thermophilic dry-grasslands. The behavior, abundance and intensity of browsing animals have also effect on vegetation changes. Animals during their browsing vegetation disperse seeds and plants spread beyond their natural occurance.

Comparison of stability and predictability of tax systems in the Czech republic and Ireland

The aim of this bachelor thesis is to find out whether the Czech tax system is way less stable and less predictable than a tax system of a western European country, particularly Ireland. This is done by comparing the number of changes that took place in the tax systems of these two countries during years 2004 to 2014 and the amount of time available for tax payers to adapt to those changes. Three taxes were chosen for the purpose of this analysis: personal income tax, corporate income tax and value added tax. The result show that the Czech tax system is less stable and predictable than the Irish tax system, but the difference between these two tax systems is not as significant as assumed.

Zdanění příjmů z kapitálového majetku v podmínkách volného pohybu kapitálu

Tématem diplomové práci je mezinárodní zdanění příjmů z kapitálového majetku. Jejím cílem je potvrdit či vyvrátit hypotézu, že ?český systém zdanění příjmů z kapitálového majetku neklade překážky volnému pohybu kapitálu?. Hlavní část práce spočívala v analýze relevantních českých a mezinárodních právních norem upravujících oblast zdanění dividend a úroků. Následně byl metodu komparace porovnán režim zdanění příjmu z kapitálového majetku ze zdrojů na území České republiky s režimem, ve kterém se zdaňují tytéž příjmy plynoucí ze zdrojů v zahraničí. V závěru práce analyzuje, zda český systém zdanění příjmů z kapitálového majetku neklade překážky volném pohybu kapitálu. Autor dospěl k závěru, že český daňový systém je v oblasti zdaňování dividend a úrokových příjmů plně harmonizován s evropskými právními normami a neklade žádné překážky volnému pohybu kapitálu.

Václav Cibula's Radio Production

This bachelor's thesis deals with life and work of art of a writer, translator and author of broadcasting shows and broadcasting and television plays of Václav Cibula. It concentrates especially on his broadcasting activities from the year1964 until 2009 which primarily involve publicistic production and research proceedings in transcription library. Moreover, this work accentuates contemporary context and summarises developmental phases of Czechoslovakian, not to say, Czech broadcasting since the 1950s. Also, it deals with standards and programme changes in editor's offices that Cibula cooperated with (specifically a program "Czechoslovakia II", the so-called loop for demanding listeners and literary editorship.) The work is complemented by photographs of Václav Cibula from his personal family archive, his bibliography, a list of his broadcasting production registered in the transcription library of "Český rozhlas" and private talks with personalities from "Český rozhlas" that were engaged with Cibula privately or at work.

The Issues of Literature for Girls in Literary Studies at Upper Elementary School

This thesis deals with literature for girls in literary education at the second level of primary school. The theoretical part concerns on girls' reading, the development, literary education and present-day reading of pubescent pupils. Based on theoretical findings from the Czech and world literature for girls and subsequent analysis of selected reading books destined for the second level of primary school in the practical part, representative selection of girls' reading and options which can be worked with those texts in lessons of literary education at the options which can be worked with those texts in lessons of literary education at the second level of primary school are suggested.
