Criminal Liability and Imposing of Sanctions on Juveniles
Němcová, Alena ; Jelínek, Jiří (advisor) ; Gřivna, Tomáš (referee) ; Sváček, Jan (referee)
SUMMARY: CRIMINAL LIABILITY AND IMPOSING OF SANCTIONS ON JUVENILES A separate legal rule regulating criminal liability and judiciary over the youth has appeared again in the legal order of the Czech Republic since the year 2003. Although the Czech law knew the judiciary over the youth in the past, this rule is considered as a repeated break with the legislation, because after several decades, there has been again a criminal rule applicable specifically to persons younger than eighteen years. The legislator returned to a legal regulation similar to that being in force in Czechoslovakia in the thirties of the 20th century. The act on judiciary over the youth valid at that time has become a significant inspiration to the present legislator which has been continuing in modern legal regulation valid in Czechoslovakia from the year 1931. The then legal regulation as well as the present one reacts to the now preferred legal or sociological premises of punishment and the purpose of punishment. The basic theoretical premise which the legislator supports is the principle of restorative justice, but we can trace the impact of also other legal, sociological or philosophical attitudes in the act on judiciary of the youth. The currently valid act No. 218/2003 Coll., on liability of the youth for wrongful acts and on...

Communication devices over GSM/GPRS
Prečan, David ; Růčka, Lukáš (referee) ; Herman, Ivo (advisor)
This master thesis deals with a data remote transmission by means of SMS and GPRS technology. The overview of current solutions is presented and then a remote temperature measurement and a data transmission employing a communication module GSM/GPRS TM1 through GSM network using GPRS technology is described. As a response to an impulse, the communication module sends SMS. The technical solution is described in details including HW and SW design of the data transfer and processing equipment using a ATmega 162 microprocessor. This equipment communicates with a server (PC), which displays the measured temperature. A prototype which was used for a validation of the design is also described.

The nature and future of the Communist Party in the context of its relationship with related political youth organizations KSM / SMKČ
Pecková, Barbora ; Handl, Vladimír (advisor) ; Kubát, Michal (referee)
The KSČM as successor party of the KSČ is stable part of Czech party system where it has status of anti-system opposition. Still there are arguments of its extreme character or its existence legitimacy. This text deals with this problem in the context of party' s relationship with its related political youth organization KSM/ SMKČ. Current openly extreme nature of SMKČ, which emerge after break in the KSM as one of the successor organizations, is a measure of party modernization. First part is a summary of the development of KSČM and KSM/ SMKČ after year 1989 which introduce the situation of balance of opinion streams in the party: conservative, reform, pragmatic and traditional minded silent majority, with which the next analysis works. Second part focuses on measure of party and PMO conjoint ideological attitudes in areas of important cleavages. First area is reflection of Czechoslovakia history in years 1945 - 1989. Second theme is basic policy objectives especially researching the aspect of ratio to democracy. Last area is current political issue: attitudes towards EU and NATO and the relevance of the themes of modern left for KSČM. The third part of the text deals with relationship of the party PYO by analysis of their practical cooperation, especially in the following forms: short - term,...

The future of IT outsourcing in the age of SaaS
Šapovalov, Tomáš ; Donát, Jiří (advisor) ; Bruckner, Tomáš (referee)
Information technologies develop very quickly. And in the same way should be changed the companie's attitude to them. But the question is whether this is actually happening. If the companies and their employees are able to adapt to new technologies as quickly as these technologies arise. One of the phenomena of recent years is delivering applications through Software As A Service (SaaS). This concept is closely linked with the issue of Cloud computing and its use can be solved by outsourcing corporate IT structure. So here we meet three very exposed concepts. But their terms are often used confused or in the wrong context. This work focuses on explaining these concepts in the context of business intelligence and analysis on the aspects that affect them. In particular, cloud computing is a modern concept, which everyone talks about but only few people know exactly what it means and what it could bring to a particular company. This work helps to answer these questions and it helps to sort out the context and framework within which the possible changes in the corporate IT infrastructure should be discussed to make decisions. The first part is focused on basic lighting of these concepts and their insertion into mutual context. The second part is then devoted to current trends in this area so that conclusions for a prediction of the expected development in the coming years can be drawn.

Marriage, it is issues and economic consequences in practice in connection with the recodification of private law
Mitlehnerová, Michaela ; Cvik, Eva Daniela (advisor) ; Pikola, Pavel (referee)
Bachelor thesis titled Marriage, it is issues and economic consequences in practice in connection with the recodification of private law applies Czech legislation regarding marriage (the strands are the Act no. 94/1963 s.b., about family, the Act No. 40/1964 s.b., the Civil Code, and especially Act no. 89/2012 s.b., the Civil Code which came into force on 1st January 2014). Thesis is diveded into two parts. The theoretical part is defined legislation and compared the legislation of family law with an amendment to the Civil Code. The practical part applies survey of information which they are gained from statistical surveys, studies and other studies that addresses the question about marriage, divorce and marriage. Bachelor thesis is completed by evaluation of survey results, which were measured respondents' attitudes toward marriage, its issues and especially the economic consequences of marriage in. In conclusion of thesis are applied the previous legal findings to specific cases which are based from experience in an attorney's office.

Influence of electrolysis on the degradation of dye water solutions
Olexová, Barbora ; Možíšková, Petra (referee) ; Kozáková, Zdenka (advisor)
The basic subject of this thesis is to investigate the influence of electrolysis on degradation of organic dyes in aqueous solutions. Electrolysis is a physically-chemical process, during which - under the influence of direct current - chemical reactions proceed inside the system. By choosing efficient conditions it is possible to achieve fundamental changes in the structure of organic compound’s molecules and on the basis of that for example their gradual degradation. This effect can be used in the process of wastewater treatment. The main task of the thesis is to analyse the influence of variously chosen chemical and physical conditions on the rate of degradation of azo dyes, which is the largest group of organic dyes used in industry and from this reason in great amounts contained both in mill residues and sewage water. Azo dyes have been selected for this experiment for their good solubility in water. Other advantage is that their degradation is accompanied by visible decoloration of the solution and their concentration in solution can be easily determined by UV-VIS spectrometry. Concretely two direct azo dyes - C.I. Direct Blue 106 and C.I. Direct Red 79 - have been chosen. The experiment was carried out in a simple reactor consisted of a bath with a stirrer into which two electrodes were installed and attached to the source of direct voltage. Every series of measurement proceeded at constant current which values were varied in range from 100 mA to 1 000 mA. The electric voltage ranged from 7 V to 22 V. Several samples were taken away from the solution during the experiment and the decrease of dye concentration was evaluated in every series. This evaluation validated the hypothesis that the dyes contained in the solution really degraded. This process was also connected to the expected bleaching of the solution. Decoloration of aqueous solution of dye is caused by disruptions in the structure of the dye molecule which is loosing its characteristic sections that cause colourfulness (a conjugate system of double bonds and presence of appropriate substitutes). A total amount of measured series was 16 with various input conditions (Fe and Pt electrodes, electrolytes NaCl, Na2SO4, and NaNO3 and their different concentrations, different current values) which more or less influenced the rate of degradation of investigated substances. It was found out that the blue dye is more likely to be electrolytically degraded. Chemical structure of its molecules, which is smaller and less branched than molecules of the used red dye, could be the source of that. The greatest degradation of the blue one proceeded at two chosen maximum values of constant current 800 mA and 1 000 mA. It could be assumed that current enhancement through the system induces higher dye concentration decrease. Degradation of the blue dye proceeded faster by using electrodes made of stainless steel than the platinum electrodes. The most suitable electrolyte was shown to be sodium chloride. When higher concentration (or conductivity) of electrolyte was used higher efficiency of degradation process was observed.

Interpretation of Richard III
Vokůrka, Richard ; Rut, Přemysl (advisor) ; Drábek, Pavel (referee)
This thesis aims to interpretation of William Shakespear?s play Richard III. The word ?interpretation? is used to describe generally valid analysis of the play, not an individual reading of the text. The aim of the thesis is to search for the limits of this text and on the other side to detect the variability of the drama. Author is interested especially in those parts of the play, which could be explicated in more different ways. The chapters are focused on conditions in the world of Richard III, on the position of Richard in the society, and describe Richard?s attitude to this world as well. Special attention is payed to Richard?s clashes with other characters, causes of Richard?s fall and circumstances beyond his control. The last part describes the theatrical potential of this drama.

Multiculture Education in Czech Basic Schools
Pařízková, Petra ; Dobiášová, Karolína (advisor) ; Jelínková, Marie (referee)
Czech society's attitudes to minorities are relatively negative or xenophobic. Due to globalization is the number of immigrants in our society permanently rising and that's why it's necessary to prepare next generations, via multicultural education, to living in plural society and to respecting different ways of life. That's why I deal with the question, how multicultural education works in practice in my diploma thesis. The aim is trough qualitative research (document analysis and case study) find out activities of state, non-governmental sector and teachers and possible shortcomings in multicultural education. Another aim is to explore results of multicultural education that means knowledge of students and whether the number of minorities in school could affect multicultural education. This hypothesis wasn't validated and the research exposed that different number of minorities in school doesn't affect the education. However, what could negatively affect multicultural education are medium, unsuitable educational materials, unsatisfactory training of teachers and control of multicultural education in practice, causing that students are quite good informed on the one hand, nevertheless they got negative attitudes to minorities on the other hand.

Framework for on-line service security risk management
Mészáros, Jan ; Buchalcevová, Alena (advisor) ; Čermák, Igor (referee) ; Doucek, Petr (referee) ; Jirovský, Václav (referee)
This dissertation thesis is dedicated to on-line services security management from service provider's and service consumer's viewpoints. The main goal is to propose a framework for on-line services security risk management, to develop a supporting software tool prototype and to validate them through a case study performed in a real-world environment. The key components of the proposed framework are a threat model and a risk model. These models are designed to fit specific features of on-line services and the surrounding environment. A risk management process is an integral part of the framework. The process is suitable for frequent and recurrent risk assessments. The process comprises of eight steps, related roles and responsibilities are defined for each step. The process execution results in identification and execution of proper tasks which contribute to treatment of identified security risks and deficiencies. Documentation and reporting of an overall level of on-line services security over time is possible if the process is executed on a regular basis. The proposed framework was validated through a case study performed in a large enterprise environment.
