Possibilities of increasing the number of employees with disabilities in the financial sector

The thesis discusses the issue of employment of people with disabilities and also how to extend their number in the financial sector. The work is divided into theoretical and practical part. The introduction of the theoretical part describes the evolution of the term disabled person within Czechoslovak legal system and its transformation into nowadays used form - person with disabilities. Thesis also lists the most important international documents governing the concept and the rights of persons with disabilities and finally, defines the issue of the employment of people with disabilities in accordance with current legislation. The analytical part of thesis compares the data aquired by Czech bank and assesses the impact of the low number of employees with disabilities of all employees. Main objective of the survey carried out among selected employees of the Bank and using the questionnaire, is to determine the subjective point of view of employees on the issue of employment people with disabilities. The main objective of this thesis is to design possibilities and increas the number of employees with disabilities in the financial sector.
Mechanisms for resolution of bank crisis

This diploma thesis deals with mechanisms which can be used to resolve crisis of a bank. The first chapter introduces the reader to essential theoretical background and basis for following chapters. The second chapter describes and analyzes measures used by governments to support their financial sectors in 2008 -- 2012. The first part of third chapter deals with insolvency regimes for banks and general description of new recovery and resolution regimes. The other part of third chapter contains qualitative analysis of recovery and resolution regimes adopted by European Union member states in the form of BRRD. Final chapter analyzes on the sample of ten systematically important banks applicability of bail-in tool to resolution of their crisis.
External audit in banking sector and its relations with regulatory and supervisory authorities

This master thesis deals with the area of external audit of banks and its relations with regulatory and supervisory authorities. Its goal is to identify and describe the specifics, which differs bank's financial statements audit from audit of other non-banking institutions, and discuss cooperation between external auditors and supervisory authorities. The first section defines the general framework of the external audit with an emphasis on legal aspects. In the second part are described the phases of the common audit procedures. The third section defines the characteristics of banking institutions and describes the specifics of audit methodology and procedures applied during the audit of the bank. The final part discusses the role, responsibility and cooperation of banks, external auditors and regulatory and supervisory authorities.
Impact of the Financial Crisis on Development Projects

The aim of the thesis is to analyse the impact of the financial crisis on the Czech real estate market with a focus on residential development projects. Another objective is to determine how the bank responded to the event through their funding conditions. In the work is mainly used method of analysis. In the practical part is used the method of comparison. The first part is devoted to the creation and development of the crisis and its spread to the whole world. Course focuses on market analysis and the very last part describes the situation of developers and financing of residential projects. The practical part deals with the comparison of two specific conditions of development loans, first approved in 2007 and the second approved in 2011. Based on the comparison of the major differences are found terms of funding. Finally, it outlines the current status and recommendations how the credit conditions by the banks could adapt to the current market environment.
Valuation of commercial banks

The diploma thesis is dedicated to the valuation of commercial banks. The work is divided into seven chapters. The first chapter deals with the specifics of commercial banks for valuation purposes. The second chapter is devoted to describing different valuation methods. The third chapter analyzes the characteristics of the selected bank. The fourth chapter deals with financial analysis and strategic analysis, and financial plan of the bank in other chapters. The last chapter is the heart of the work, where the selected bank is being valuated. The conclusion summarizes the issue.
Consolidation of loans and credits

The aim of this bachelor thesis is to compare the conditions of consolidation of loans and credits by three banks of my choice in the Czech Republic and then to choose the best offer for the potential clients.The introduction deals with the deficit status of households. Afterwards I have provided the explanation of the following words: consolidation, credit and loan. After explaining all the words comes the characteristics of the loans and credits.The last part of the theoretical part deals with insolvency law.The practical part deals with the evaluation of household indebtedness from 2005 through 2015. The entire finance position of the household sector in 2014 is assessed as well as the literacy of the inhabitants in the Czech Republic. Services of the consolidation by Česká spořitelna, a. s., GE Money bank, a. s., a Československá obchodní banka, a. s are also compared. These three banks were chosen on the grounds of a well arranged offer of the products, regarding issues of unification of the loans and credits. In final part of my bachelor thesis it is stated based on the results, by which bank it would be the best for the clients to ask for the consolidation of their loans and credits.
The advantage of building society in new legislative terms compared with mortgage loans

The topic of this master thesis is to compare benefits from the building society account with the mortgage loan. The whole comparison will be done according to the new legislative. The aim of this study is to find whether it is more profitable to invest into your property with the mortgage or the building society account. For this collation eight different companies are approached. Four of them are building societies and four are banks. The experts from those companies were given three examples with different height of LTV from different applicants with different purposes. Those experts also assessed which indicators applicants should consider. According to these recommendations clients have ordered indicators by their assumed importance. Finally offers were evaluated by TOPSIS method and ordered by its advantageousness.
Investment Options Population in the Czech Republic

The aim of this thesis is to evaluate the possibility of household investment in the money market in the Czech Republic. In the theoretical section we can find details of the cash market and its segments. Followed by financial institutions and relevant indicators influencing investor decisions. The practical part is focused on specific financial products. They are mutually compared and evaluated in terms of availability and suitability for the small investor. Return, risk and liquidity are also taken into account.

The aim of this thesis is to evaluate creditworthiness (credibility) of a client and assessment of loan granting decision. The work highlights the importance of financial analysis, which constitutes a basis for risk assessment of a client and is a deciding factor in the final decision of granting a loan. Theoretical and methodological part deals with definitions, explanation of terms and methods related to credit processing and financial analysis. The second part assesses financial stability of the company "Firma, a.s." through financial analysis and subsequently evaluates its credibility by applying a selected credit rating model. As a result, final loan granting decision is made.

In my thesis I focuse on comparing the mortgages in Czech Republic in detail. In the first part I focuse on dependance of amout provided mortgages on unemployment and Gross domestic product. In another part of my thesis I focuse on various types of mortgages and the different factors for providing. In the last part I refer the differences on real examples.
