Program for design of CATV

The main task of this master’s thesis is to create an interactive computer programme for the design of small and medium television cable circuits. The first part of this document describes main conceptions of a modification and a distribution of television signals. There are also introduced basic topologies of small and medium sized distribution networks, some passive and active elements in the circuit including their usage. There is also described an algorithm for calculation of circuit’s values. The second part contains a detailed description of created programme with all of its functions. A part of this document is made by a sample calculation of the four variants of circuit and its comparison with computer calculation. In suplement are included selected parts of source code.

Internet Connection variants using present TV cable wiring

This dissertation examines data transfers along the existing lines of cable TV. PLC equipment has been selected as the focus of this examination. The essay examines the question of Multicarrier modulation and focuses more specifically onto the problem of OFDM modulation, which is being used by the selected equipment. It further describes the process of integration of PLC equipment into the cable TV network, modifications of the CATV and the basic topology of the created data networks. The essay also offers a closer look onto a PLC modem and Head End from Corinex that have been used in the implementation of a data network in a selected rural settlement. The author has also raised the issue of the problems connected with cable wires connected with this particular type of data transfers and the solutions of some of the encountered problems. The characteristics of this network have then been measured during normal operation of the created network. Measurements have been carried out in order to determine the transfer speed on a physical and transfer level, the SNR of specific connections and the signal attenuation. The measurements have confirmed the suitability of the used PLC equipment for the purposes of data transfer along the cable TV lines as far as data speed and signal strength was concerned. A map of the particular cable TV lines and the PLC equipment has been included in the attachment.

Medial partnership

Abstract
This bachelor thesis is dedicated to media partnership as one of the means of promotion of theatre subjects.
My main aim was to map the Czech media market and briefly outline types of media on the market, how the media approaches the media partnership, how they choose a form of media partnership and what gains the media partnership brings to both sides.
I also consider the issues relating to the term ?media partnership? and the lack of its legal form.
I have categorised the media in accordance with two aspects: 1) according to TV, radio and newspaper ratings/attendance and 2) according to a target group, which play a significant role when choosing a media partner. A considerable part of my thesis is focusing on particular examples of media types and their approach to media partnerships.
This thesis on Media partnership should outline the current practice for readers and advise them about the choice of suitable media partner. Besides information about the options of cooperation they could find an inspiration about what kind of services they can demand from the potentional media partner and what to offer in return.

Labour unions and collective bargaining

Collective bargaining is one of the methods of reciprocal communication between employers and relevant trade union, which solve wage or salary and other rights in labour-law relations. Collective agreement is the purpose of collective bargaining. Its content and observance is significant part of relationship between employers and employees. Process of collective bargaining, closing collective contracts, solving collective disputes, process during strikes and lock-outs is described in the Act No. 2/1991 Coll. The aim of my master thesis is to analyze legal regulations of social dialogue, content of collective agreements and show some real examples. I also describe all feasible solutions of collective disputes, which are results of disagreements between contracting parties by closing or default of collective agreement.

Relations in commercial law of the Republic of Korea

The increasing volume of bilateral trade between the Czech Republic and the Republic of Korea is the statistical fact. Korean companies employ many Czech workers. Korean companies cooperate with many subcontractors, that come from different legal environment. Czech managers communicate with Korean investors. In these interactions there is not only a possibility of conflict of different cultural traditions, but also legal culture. I seemed it therefore appropriate to examine what legal environment the Korean investors and business partners came from, and what misunderstandings may possibly arise from the lack of information. Another area of practical application of my work can be a legal relationship with an international element. If the parties choose the law applicable to their contract, it is essential for the actors of the contract to be aware of differences in the jurisdictions considered. The Korean law was influenced by both continental legal system and Anglo-American legal system. Moreover, there are still noticeable the residues of traditional Chinese law, and he later developed traditional Korean law. Due to these different influences, the current Korean law is interesting from a theoretical point of view, too. The source for this work is the Korean commercial and civil act and the Czech Commercial and Civil Code. Whereas I have never learned Korean, I was studying Korean laws in their English translation. In my comments I would like to suggest basic differences between the Czech and Korean law. I hope that my work will provide enough information for the theoretical understanding of the differences and similarities of Korean and Czech legislation.

Production of gas valves on the automatic line

This thesis deals with the evaluation of manufacturing gas valves on the automatic line and the design of CCTV systems to detect errors at assembly in Honeywell Czech Republic Ltd. The aim of this thesis is mutual comparison of the respective proposed options of the camera system, their optimal selection, and the evaluation of detected errors of the line by using Pareto Charts. An integral part of this work is a brief description of the automatic line for gas valves and the history of Honeywell Company.

Pojištění subjektů v oblasti cestovního ruchu

Efimova, A. Insurance of subjects in tourism. Bachelor thesis. Brno: Mendel University, 2015. The estimated bachelor thesis is focused on tourism industry insurance. First of all theoretical and legislative bases of travel insurance and mandatory insurance for the case of insolvency of travel agency are described. Then the legislative framework of mandatory insurance for the case of insolvency of travel agency in Austria is illustrated and compared with Czech variant. Secondly, practical examples of claims settlement of requirements by Czech insurance companies are given. In conclusion, recommendations are established for travel agency managers and offers of modifications of the relevant law of the Czech Republic, basing on the comparison of the theoretical and practical parts.

Removing of masonry pillar from load bearing wall

The subject of this bachelor thesis is design suitable solution of a new load bearing structure in residency basement. There is a increase the width of hole by removal masonry pillar from load bearing wall between two doors. In first part there is a focus on loads analysis in height level of new beam and design two solutions of beam. Verification of bearing capacity is included with eventual changes.
