This thesis gives an analysis of the entrepreneurial environment in Ethiopia and its particularities. It is assigned especially for prospective czech investors and entrepreneurs having interest in entering the ethiopian market. Except the evaluation of the current state of the entrepreneurial environment, which is done by using the PEST analysis, the thesis also defines current relations between Ethiopia and Czech Republic and brings potentials of expanding the bilateral cooperation.

Czech-Israeli trade relations

The aim of this diploma thesis is to analyse the business relations between the Czech Republic and Israel, and to suggest other possible perspectives of mutual cooperation. This thesis is devoted to both basic characteristics of Israel in terms of geographic, demographic and political, and to the current state of the Israeli economy. It provides information on history of mutual relations, their legal framework and development of the Czech-Israeli trade. The great emphasis is placed on tourism. One part of this thesis is processed as a questionnaire survey among Czech companies generally and the performance of the Czech company Ammann Czech Republic, a.s., which is one of the successful exporters to the Israeli market. The final part describes Czech institutions that support development of the Czech-Israeli relations, and the bilateral programme GESHER/MOST. The activities of these institutions are evaluated and then further opportunities of deeper cooperation are suggested.

Každý jedinec je součástí nějaké skupiny a to ovlivňuje také jeho sociální charakter. Skupina je pro jedince přitažlivá v takové míře, v jaké uspokojuje jeho potřeby. Podle míry uspokojování potřeb ve skupině se dostává jedinci také odměna a skupina se stává pro jedince nepostradatelnou. Ve skupině se formují určité vztahy a mění se potřeby jedince. Protože prožije jedinec velkou část svého života v práci, jsou pro něj vztahy v pracovním kolektivu velmi důležité. Každá pracovní skupina podává výkony podle toho, jak jsou nastaveny vztahy jejích členů. Vysoké výkony pracovních skupin jsou podstatné pro společnost, která jedince zaměstnává, protože ta se snaží o co největší prosperitu podniku. Při výběrovém řízení se společnost snaží získat pracovníka, který se rychle zařadí do pracovního kolektivu. Pro postihnutí vlastností pracovníka se využívá nejrůznějších metod výběrového řízení. Ve 21. století se začíná čím dál více používat nejrůznějšího druhu testování pro výběr kvalitního pracovníka. Využití psychologických testů v praxi přináší nejen možnost provést podrobnou analýzu osobnosti člověka, ale také jeho shodu s pracovním kolektivem.

The growth, development and selected demographic data of rhesus macaques (Macaca mulatta) living in captivity with the extension of a topic into biology didactics and laboratory work in biology. Rigorous thesis deals with the generational differences in growth, weight, height and sitting height of rhesus macaques (Macaca mulatta) bred in captivity n the primate centre in Konárovice in the Czech republic and in the primate centre in Soci, Russia. It also focuses on the seasonality of birth months and sex ratio of individuals born in different generations. The theoretical part contains the basic information about the rhesus and the history of primate researches. The longitudinal and demographic data are elaborated in the practical part of the dissertation. The last part is didactic and presents rhesus macaque as a model species of catharrina primate and provides basic data about primates suitable for education at elementary and secondary schools. The practical part of didactic deals with the use somatometry as topic in biology didactics and laboratory work in biology focusing on cross-curricular links. International status of Czechoslovakia in the period of so called normalization (relations with USA and Great Britain)

This thesis gives a picture of international status of Czechoslovakia in the time period 1969 -- 1989, it is specifically illustrated on relations with USA and Great Britain. After characteristics of the given time period and the czechoslovak foreign policy the thesis deals with the key events which influenced mutual relations with given states in the period of normalization. Further on the case of czechoslovak monetary gold is described. In the end the thesis analyses picture of Czechoslovakia in the U.S. and British media during the observed period.

Positive affectivity as an important part of well-being

This diploma thesis is in its theoretical part dealing with religious and philosophical concerns in relation to positive affectivity and subjective well-being. It offers a review of contemporary theories on this topic. In the practical part, it tests the relations of the constructs which have an infuence on personal well-being: positive affectivity, satisfation with life and life engagement. Positive affectivity is assessed with the life orientation test (LOT-R: Life Orientation Test-Revisited, Scheier, Carver, Bridges, 1994), personal well-being with the satisfaction-with-life scale (SWLS: Satisfaction With Life Scale, Pavot et al., 1991) and meaningful life engagement with the life engagement test (LET: Life Engagement Test- Assesing Purpose in Life, Scheier et al. 2006). The test sample consisted of 301 respondents of the common population. Their average age was 38 years, the national contents were 188 people of the Czech citizenship and 113 people of the Slovak citizenship. No correlation was found between positive affectivity and gender, age, education nor nationality. Further there was no correlation between satisfaction with life and citizenship, gender and age. 1 Resumé Personal data protection in employment formation This thesis is concerned with the questions of personal data protection in connection with labor-law relationships. In the concrete the author focuses on personal data protection in formation of the employment. First the author deals with general legal basis of the issue and, consequently, the author analyses personal data protection in positive law, namely in the Act No. 101/2000 Coll., on the Protection of Personal Data, as amended. The author examines in detail some questionable duties of the employer connected with processing of personal data of his employees and, at the same time, refers to the imperfection of transposition of the Directive 95/46/ES of the European Parliament and of the Council of 24 October 1995 on the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of these data. On the basis of given comments the author in the general level presents the scope of personal data that can be requested by the employer from the employee in formation of the employment.
