JOSÉ MARTÍ - life and work with orientation to his essays Madre América and Nuestra América

In my Bachelor thesis entitled "JOSÉ MARTÍ - life and work with orientation to his essays Madre América and Nuestra América" I am going to pursue two of his principal essays titled Madre América and Nuestra América which contain Marti's ideas related to the self- determination of the nations of Latin America. In order to analyse the respective themes, I consider necessary to introduce the author first. In my opinion, José Martí is one of the most important figures in the Cuban colonial era; he represents also one of the most influential ideological leaders of the Cuban independence war. His ideas about the Latin American roots, the union and the independent and equitable society also inspired the history of the whole Latin America. José Martí was also an outstanding figure in the world of literature. His complete works include poetry, articles, essays as well as dramas and one novel. Because of that I find appropriate to describe briefly his literary work. The crucial part consists in the analysis of the essays mentioned above, which deal with the roots of Latin America. According to Martí, the recognition of these roots and the faith in them will lead to the liberty of every Latin American nation; it will help to reach the unity among all of them and to avoid foreign influence. Title: The History of the Sokol Club I. Smíchov Abstract: This bachelor thesis deals with history of Sokol Club I. Smíchov since its establishment till year 1940. The aim of this thesis is not only to describe its history and activities but also shortly give account of Sokol Club. The part of thesis attends to history of the town of Smíchov which is definitely connected with Sokol Club Smíchov. The thesis called "The history of the Sokol Club I. Smíchov" is based on research on historical sources and literature. Mostly I insisted on archival documents from The National Museum, The Collection of Physical Education and Sport and on archival documents of Sokol Club I. Smíchov. From literature I used publications about history of the town of Smíchov and about history and persons of consequence of the Sokol Club. The thesis consists of three parts. The first part is divided into an introduction and an analysis of archival documents, literature and working methods. Next part describes the history of the town of Smíchov, the history of the Sokol Club and biographies of Miroslav Tyrš and Jindřich Fügner, too. There is also described the history of Sokol Club I. Czech newspapers in Carlsbad after year 1945

The subject of this dissertation is an analysis of the newspaper Karlovy Vary National newspapers from its inception, until its post-war closure. In each charter. Part of the work is an analysis of another two local titles - the weekly papers - Budovatel and Jednota. In the dissertation. I also examine to Czech-German relations and the beginning of the Czechs and Germans co-existing in the region, from a time around end of the 12th century, and until the beginning of the Second World War and post-war organization of a city Karlovy Vary.

Dzogchen and its philosophical aspect in Bon tradition

The thesis deals with philosophical aspect of Dzhgchen, which is the core of the Yungdrung Bon traditon. It is very special spiritual tradition because of it's very special nondualistic view of man and universe. First part deals with the history and division of it's teachings and it's Dzogchen lineages. Next part focuses on explanation of differences in views of sutra, tantra and Dzogchen, mainly from the standpoint of the view of base, path, fruit, emptiness, clarity, conscioussness and mind and it's nature. Next part provides translation of the text Twelve little tantras and it's deep explanation. Last part, and most important one, focuses on philosophical examination of some key aspects of Dzogchen, mainly on it's view of autenticity of mindnature. This part also compares Pramenides's fragments with some key points of view of Buddhism and Dzogchen, which may lead to some unexpected conclusions about man's thinking and the problem of it's intentionality.

The analysis of consumers behavior for project: Customer-oriented company

The aim of this thesis is to determine the external and internal incentive that affect the behavior of the final consumer in the buying process and thus contribute to the development project named "A customer-oriented company", which is being incorporated into operations of JEDNOTA, s.d. company in České Budějovice. In this work the method of oral questioning and observation method for final consumers were used. The combination of these two methods served to analyze consumer behavior in the supermarket TERNO České Budějovice, which JEDNOTA operates. These two methods were also used in consumers at a beverage center, which is managed by the supermarket TERNO.

The History of Sokol in Písek

This bachelor thesis is concerned with history of Sokol organization in Písek from its foundation up to today. During its evolution in time, activities of Sokol faced many adversities and the organization was also disbanded several times. Members of Sokol were very proud and honest patriots. They defended the republic during World War I., fought in Czechoslovak legions and acted as military police preventing plundering and total chaos. The expansion after World War II., referenced as the Golden Age, lasted only for 20 years, until its interruption by World War II. Despite difficult conditions the organization attained a particular level of development. Every fifteenth citizen of the country was its member and the number of participating members got close to 1 million. Sokol supported a sense for Czech patriotism, which culminated by the means of a demonstration on the 20th Sokol festival in 1938. In the following difficult war period, Sokol members were persecuted for their patriotism by Nazi occupants, about 12 000 members were imprisoned and 3 300 of them died in concentration camps. Also, Písek members lost their best officials and participants. In the 1941 the organization was dissolved again and its property was confiscated. After long 40 years of communist totalitarian rule and its eventual collapse, Sokol organization came back to life in 1990. The system of physical training has been greatly transformed since then, as the whole training sector went through major innovations. Earlier Sokol`s exercising is now conceived as an universal preparation for children and conditional training for adults, but now based on a modern attitude. Many changes in form and content helped to attract new supporters.

This bachelor thesis deals with Islam in the politics of Arabian countries and with its culturally historical context. A case study is concerned with Saudi Arabia. As far as historical context is concerned, the thesis focuses on the territory of The Arabian peninsula, especially. The aim of the thesis is to find out, how Islam influenced a political organization in the individual state units from the time of the prophet Mohammed to the fall of the Ottoman Empire and how Islam influences a political organization of Saudi Arabia today. The thesis divides into three parts. The first part of the thesis devotes to historical context of Islam. A second part of the thesis deals with Islamic culture including its duties and practices, Islamic law sharia or cultural dimensions of Arabian world according to the studies of Geert Hofstede. The last part of the thesis is the case study.

V České republice došlo v posledních letech k silné konsolidaci maloobchodu. Zahraniční řetězce provádějí intenzivní expanzi do menších měst a obcí, které byly donedávna posledním útočištěm nezávislých domácích obchodníků. Ti jsou nuceni bojovat o přežití na vysoce konkurenčním trhu. Je otázkou, zda to může být boj úspěšný. Má analýza zjišťuje, zda má vybraný podnik Jednota Jindřichův Hradec šanci obstát v konkurenci zahraničních řetězců a udržet se na trhu, případně zvýšit svůj tržní podíl či výnosnost.
