Types of actions in The Civil Process
Karafová, Iveta ; Winterová, Alena (advisor) ; Macková, Alena (referee)
1 Summary The purpose of my thesis is not only to summarize the list of actions which we can find in The Czech civil process, but describe them and make focus on some of the main problems in applications and interpretation of actions. The thesis is composed of fifteen chapters, each of them dealing with different aspects of actions. I have looked into the issues by method of research in literature and judicature and analyzes of main problems in comparing with judicature. First chapter is simply introductory to the area. Second chapter introduce actions generally and define basic terminology used in the thesis. In the first part of second chapter we can find short entrance to the history of actions. The term of action in the civil remedial law represents a universal procedural means of the protection of rights which is not directly linked with material law directed at its protection. All the more this frequently applied institute is important since it provides prevention although indirectly for the rights which are threatened by legal insecurity and so it serves to fulfill the fundamental principles of a democratic state guaranteed by the Constitution and the Bill of Rights, particularly the principle of peace (legal security) and the right of just suit: "Everybody can sue for his/her right using a defined...

Munich agreement and the Versailles system of international relations
Miňovská, Veronika ; Veselý, Zdeněk (advisor) ; Šauer, Jaroslav (referee)
The thesis deals with the Versailles arrangement of international relations since its establishment at the Paris Peace Conference, through its changes in 20s and 30s, until its final disappearance. I try to argue, in the thesis, that the system's setting served Hitler as a powerful political weapon in negotiations with the Western powers. I seek for deeper clarification of causes leading to the signature of the Munich Agreement and I am also concerned with the policy of appeasement and the system of collective security which failed several times in 30s. Additionally, the thesis has ambition to shed some light on the Sudeten problem, that had been misused in favour of Hitler due to a well-targetted imperial propaganda of uprecedented proportions. Finally, a part of the paper is also devoted to the rise of Nazism in Germany, the circumstances under which it flourished and its later consequences.

Crime prevention on housing estate
Žáčková, Kateřina ; Cejp, Martin (advisor) ; Večerka, Kazimír (referee)
Diploma thesis "Crime prevention on housing estate" deals with specific characteristics of criminality and possibilities of crime prevention in housing estates. It summarises theoretical knowledge, international and European context of crime prevention and specifics of prevention work in Czech Republic and Prague. It also characterizes housing estates as an important phenomenon which offers housing in Czech Republic and it focuses especially on the situation in Prague. In case study of housing estate Jižní Město diploma thesis identifies crime problems and their causes such as anonymity and specific housing arrangement. Insufficient civic amenities, opportunities for leisure time activities, and social pathology concentrated in deteriorative areas of housing estate are other causes. Thesis also identifies stakeholders of crime prevention, their role and activities in prevention work. Although there are no characteristics of criminality and crime prevention which can be identified exclusively in housing estates, we can formulate some proposals for secure development of housing estates. These are regeneration of public spaces and houses to be able to offer civic amenities and higher degree of sense of security for its inhabitants. This should be followed by some specific prevention activities like using of...

The Nový Svět glassworks at Harrachov during the first half of the 19th century and their meaning for Czech and European glass of the time
Schöttner, Jan ; Kybalová, Jana (advisor) ; Mádl, Martin (referee) ; Brožová, Jarmila (referee)
Nový Svět Glass Factory in Harrachov represented the best of what was achieved in the field of refined glass production in the first half of the 19th century, not only in the technological arena, but also in the artistic one. Absolutely key in achieving these extraordinary results lies within the personality of Johann Pohl, who had ran the glass factory between 1808-1850. Pohl was not just an expert in the area of glass technology, but he was also an extraordinary administrator and economist. And he showed the same talent as a glass refiner. His exceptional artistic sensibility helped him precisely to figure out the exact proportion, tectonics and refinement of the manufactured products. Of the technological innovations that the glass factory introduced during this period, the most important was the melting of ceramic incrustations into the glass. The factory was already able to handle this perfectly by the end of the 1820s, making it the equal of the French and English glass producers of the time.At the same time, the production of colored glass prevailed over clear glass, because it better served the aesthetic demands of customers, or rather, of buyers and merchants. The Harrachov Glass Factory was among the leaders in this field in Central Europe, as its range of colored molten glasses was respectable....

The Vits family in the one - party repression (Komunist party repression)
Světlík, Pavel ; Pokorný, Jiří (referee) ; Míšková, Alena (advisor)
Operation "Náchod Terror." Files of this name found in the archival resources of the State Security (Státní bezpecnost, StB) document show trials with the so called Karel Rudolf and Karel Vondrácek groups. The case involving a group of private farmers from the village of Litobor and its surroundings became the largest show trial with private farmers in the former Region of Eastern Bohemia. It was conducted in two parts, 26th-27th January and 25th-26th June 1952. The State Court (Státní soud) sentenced 18 people for treason and other criminal acts. Four death sentences were passed, three out of which were carried out and one changed to life sentence. Most of the remaining convicts were condemned to 14 to 20 years imprisonment. In the outcome, the public trials, greatly abused by the regime propaganda, served finally to crush the stubborn opposition of private farmers in the area against the establishing of collective farms (Jednotná zemedelská družstva, JZD).

Tooth extractions in patients with coagulation disorder
Houba, Robert ; Houbová, Helena (advisor) ; Vaněk, Jiří (referee) ; Stanko, Peter (referee)
The study deals with the question of minor oral surgery procedures, dental extractions especially, in patients suffering from haemocoagulation disorder. The aim of this study was 1) the clinical attestation of the risk of bleeding that may follow the dental extraction in patients with non-interrupted oral administration of drugs with the anticoagulant and antiplatelet effects and 2) suggestion of the schedules of surgical procedures suitable for this kind of patients and for the realization in the standard dental office. The opening theoretical part analyses the principle of haemocoagulation, the surway of individual inherited and acquired bleeding disorders and the main principles of treatment of bleeding patients in dental offices with the emphasis on the local security of the surgical wound. In the proper study we present the observation and evaluation of bleeding complications after the standard dental extractions in 3 groups of persons (age range, 19 to 93 years). In all patients, one or more extractions were performed. 99 patients were treated with oral anticoagulant therapy without any interruption and underwent 199 extractions. 149 patients, treated with antiplatelet therapy (acetylsalicylic acid) without interruption, underwent 347 extractions. 160 healthy subjects with 316 extractions served as a...

Security evaluation of the PHP application according to OWASP ASVS standard
Sůva, Jakub ; Mészáros, Jan (advisor) ; Buchalcevová, Alena (referee)
The goal of this bachelor's thesis is to verify security level of web application. Verification is based on the standard called OWASP ASVS 2013 Beta especially on its first level of requirements. To achieve the goal thesis uses semi-automated white box penetration tests and interview. The thesis is limited to testing of PHP web applications and it is divided into two main sections, theoretical and practical. The theoretical part is mainly focused on introducing penetration testing of web applications in general. Cardinal part is description of OWASP ASVS 2013 Beta. A research of automated testing tools is done in the practical section. One of the tools is chosen afterwards to make the testing of web application more efficient. Practical part is mostly focused on the tests themselves. The end result is comprehensible report with outcomes and their interpretation.

Real-Time Rendering of a Scene With Many Pedestrians
Pfudl, Václav ; Milet, Tomáš (referee) ; Herout, Adam (advisor)
The aim of this thesis was to implement a software that would be able to render, simulate and record a scene with walking pedestrians in real-time, with emphasis on rendering level of realism. The output of the application could serve as an input test data for people counting systems or similar systems for video recognition. The problem was divided into three major subproblems: character animation, artificial intelligence for character movement and advanced rendering techniques. The character animation problem is solved by the skeletal animation of the model. To achieve the characters moving in a scene autonomously path finding(A* algorithm) and group behaviors(steering behaviors) were implemented. Realism in a scene is added by implemented methods such as normal-mapping, variance shadow-mapping, deffered rendering, skydome, lens flare effect and screen space ambient occlusion. Optimaliaztion of the rendering was implemented using octree data structure for space partitioning. Rendering stage of a scene can be easily parametrized through implemented GUI. Implemented application provides the user with easy way of setting a scene with walking pedestrians, setting its visualization and to record the result.
