Hecová, Hana ; Kilian, Jan (advisor) ; Nováková, Květoslava (referee) ; Gojišová, Eva (referee)
Injuries of the permanent teeth represent extensive and serious problems of dentistry. With the exception of the hard dental tissues, gingiva, periodoncium, dental pulp and alveolar bone are offen affected. The healing of injured teeth depends upon different factors, such as the stage of root development, the presence of bacterial infection in oral cavity and the possible penetration of bacteria or their toxins through the dentinal wall. These factors as well as incorrect treatment can cause posttraumatic complication, which appear immediately after dental trauma or up to several years lato. In this study the evaluation of 384 patients with injuries of the permanent teeth was performed. All these patients were treated in the Dentistry Department of the Faculty Hospital in Pilsen. The aim of the clinical part of the study was the analysis of the epidemiologic data and of the occurrence of posttraumatic consequences in every group of dental injuries. The investigated dates were compared with the dates in the literature. The relation between patient' age, stage of root development, treatment of dental trauma and occurrences of posttraumatic complications has been investigated. Almost stochastic dominance
Štefánik, Adam ; Kopa, Miloš (advisor) ; Branda, Martin (referee)
Title: Almost stochastic dominance Author: Adam Štefánik Department: Probability and Mathematical Statistics Supervisor: RNDr. Ing. Miloš Kopa, PhD. Department of Probability and Mathematical Statistics, MFF UK Abstract: In the presented work we study the almost stochastic dominance and it's properties. Almost stochastic dominance is a relaxation of stochastic dominance. Almost stochastic dominance also deals with paradox situations occurring in case of stochastic dominance. This is a situation when stochastic dominance determines indifferent relation- ship between two portfolios, but in fact almost all investors can choose the better one. The original almost stochastic dominance presented by Leshno and Levy (2002) is compu- tationally expensive. Lizyayev and Ruszczy'nski (2012) suggested an alternative approach. This work introduces both approaches. The most interesting part of this work is a search for efficient portfolio with respect to the almost stochastic dominance by the simple linear programming. Lizyayev and Ruszczy'nski (2012) approach is applied to Kopa and Chovanec (2008) quantile approach for portfolio efficiency testing with respect to second order stochastic dominance. Keywords: almost stochastic dominance, efficiency, CVaR

The aim of our study was to evaluate the severity of hepatic and kidney damage retrospectively in the years between 2000 and 2004 with a focus on their reversibility, and to analyse the prognostic factors following Amanita phalloides (Am. ph., mainly hepatotoxic agent) and ethylene glycol (EG, nephrotoxic liquid) based on the calls made to the Czech Toxicological Information Centre and analyses made by toxicological laboratories. Analysis relied on data from medical records. A variety of clinical and laboratory parameters were collected. Fisher's test, Student's t-test and the calculation of linear correlation coefficients were used for statistical analysis. Twenty-four of 206 case-patients with EG intoxication were children. Fifty of 158 adult patients who survived, developed signs of nephrotoxicity. In 19 patients renal function normalized up to one month following the intoxication. Total 21 patients were followed-up as out-patients. Renal function completely recovered in 13 patients during 6 months and in three patients during 8-24 moths following the intoxication. The serum creatinine level was only mild elevated (119 |imol/l) in other two patients. However, their follow-up finished. In three patients renal damage persisted, serum creatinine level 138-200 (imol/1, in 19-26 months after discharge from...

There is description of relationship between ecclesia and the totalitarian regime with accent on the Congregation. The Congregation was founded after the Thirty Years War in France. Its work was helping poor and ill people. During 19th century the sisters of Congregation have come into Bohemia and founded the Hospital under the Petřín hill. Their useful work was influenced by policy situation. After The Second World War some sisters had to leave Czechosovakia. But the heaviest situation came after the win of communism in Czechoslovakia. The regime wanted total liquidation of the Congregation. In spite of sister's work with ill people began persecution - taking property (including buildings of monasteries), heavy work of sisters in factories and first of all great artificial processes. One of them was concerned superioress of Congregation at that time. Better situation came in the 60's.
