Creativity and innovation in non-profit organizations

The main essence of this bachelor's thesis lies in the comparison of selected non-profit organizations and their approach to creativity and innovations. The theoretical part deals with the explanation of therms -- especially in the individual creativity, team creativity, creativity of the organization itself, creative methods and innovations. It is followed by a practical part, which is based on a questionnaire survey, which shows creative and innovative the organizations are. After evaluation questionnaires and evaluate the hypotheses are listed at the end of thesis proposals and recommendations for individual non-profit organizations.
The Expansion of The Olomouc Musem of Art

The thesis is concerned with a description and an evaluation of The Olomouc Museum of Art (MUO) operations. MUO is a significant element of the cultural life in Olomouc. The theoretical part of the thesis is dealing with the legal basis of this non-profit organization, explaining the definition of the concept "museum" and describing the methodology applied. Methods of strategic analysis modified for non-profit organizations have been used. The historical, organizational and economical aspects of the museum are introduced in the practical section of the thesis, followed by identifying external and internal factors and concluded by SWOT analysis. The thesis is finalized by recommendations to the new museum administration with respect to realization of the Forum project, multi resource financing, volunteer institution utilization and fundraising.

The next section focuses on the budgets of non-profit organizations and on the rea-sons for their occurrence and their types. Next topic is a characteristic of non-profit organizations, its services, health care and schooling. Last section is devoted to the analysis of management and financing.

The bachelor thesis was focused on the analysis of services provided by ?Poradenského centra při Svazu neslyšících a nedoslýchavých? (The Centre for Deaf and Hearing-Impaired), especially on the process of providing services and its quality. Firstly, there was a study of the specialized literature. Afterwards, there was the practical part, in which the Centre was introduced, the funding was evaluated and a questionnaire research was assessed. Everything was evaluated and then some improvements were suggested.

ABSTRACT Mass Media and Their Impact on Leisure Time Activities of Secondary School Students Key words:media, television, internet, leisure time, teen-agers, value orientation, leisure time, non-profit organization This bachelor?s thesis deals with determination of basic terms related to mass media and their impact on leisure time spending of students at South-Bohemian secondary schools. This work is divided into theoretical and practical parts. In the theoretical part, basic terms are explained including media, mass communication, TV broadcasting and Internet, and their impact on teenagers. Furthermore, the thesis looks into value orientation and application of leisure time with teenagers considering media. In the practical part, I present survey results which are compared with theoretical and further practical findings. Priority of Internet in leisure time activities is particularly worth noticing.

The bachelor thesis deals with a financing and accounting of non-profit organizations in the particular case of Czech Television. The theoretical part describes the general characteristics of non-profit organizations, their funding, efficiency and arguments for an existence of these organizations. An analysis of Czech Television's management in 2008 -- 2010 is taken as a practical part in the thesis.

The current financial crisis draws attention to the level of financial education among citizens. This thesis maps projects which are focused on financial education of the citizens of the Czech Republic. Based on the information found after a close study of projects focused on financial education, a necessity to develop a new financial education project. A project which is suitable for the current needs and reflects gaps of the studied projects. New project would be created for a non-profit organization.

This Diploma thesis focuses on the communication of non-profit organizations with media. Theoretical part defines general definitions and terms from the sphere of communication strategy, public relations or media. It focuses on describing the specifications and distinctions for using these tools in case of non-profit organizations. Practical part contains an analysis of the communication strategy of the non-profit organization Rotaract Říčany. The aim of this thesis is to bring an integrated view on the way how this organization communicate and analyse its publicity and offer some recommandations to be more efficient.

The first chapter is dedicated to the explanation of the main terms, technologies used, and required functionality of the application based on the analysis of the real needs of organizations. This diploma thesis deals with the proposal of marketing strategy for a non-profit organization, the Art school of Vítězslav Novák in Jindřichův Hradec. Theoretical-methodological part first define the basic terminology needed, than follows the process of creating the marketing strategy. The specifics of the use of marketing in non-profit organizations as well as the structure of the communication mix, to which more detailed attention is paid, are also included in the first part of the diploma thesis. In the practical part, the planning phase of strategic marketing management is being developed. The final design of marketing and communication strategy is based on the results of the analysis of internal and external environment of the organization. To analyze the environment and current situation of the school are used to methods PEST, SWOT and Porter's five forces. Besides the above mentioned methods, marketing research is applied as well. The whole diploma thesis focuses the most on one of the sub-sections of marketing strategy, which is communication mix. This part is analyzed most in details.
