The role of detail while compasing a work of art
Neubertová, Miriam ; Špirk, Ivan (referee) ; Dvořák, Jaroslav (advisor)
The thesis focuses on the role of detail as a visual phenomenon while dealing with composition, creation as well as reception of a piece of artwork. The author draws on her particular experience of her eyesight worsening in the childhood (adolescence) and of the modification of the sighted which is closely related to the worse eyesight. Gradual and repetitive defocusing and focusing of her eyesight, which are connected with the vision correction, led Miss Neubertova to the interest in detail which among others ended in writing of the thesis. Detail, which is defined in the thesis as a part of a whole and also as an image of the part, is meant to be understood from four different directions according to approaches applied and according to its artistic and social function. These approaches are: decorative, expressive, sensational and rational. Detail application as well as its understanding from the mentioned directions have faded into one another throughout the history. However, the author does not handle detail and the occurrence of its application in chronological sequence even though this approach would also be possible, because it is crucial for the author that the approaches have faded into one another and that their function and application have coexisted. The four mentioned approaches are documented...

Creation of adaptation concept for new employees with system organiser position on SAP environment in ŠKODA AUTO a.s.
Doupal, Petr ; Bruckner, Tomáš (advisor) ; Mikát, Vojtěch (referee)
This thesis deals with the issue of adaptation of new employees in ŠKODA AUTO a.s., particularly of those who joined the company under the "Growth strategy 2018" for "system organizer" job positions -- SAP consultants. The company has been awarded for being one of the best employers in the past years and the system of human resource management and employee care is very advanced, however there was a demand in the "Information systems and organization" department to come up with its own way to adapt new employees concretely on SAP environment beyond the regular plans in the company. The goal of this thesis is thus to analyze current general practices in the company, present arguments for the new concept of adaptation on SAP, create that concept and then evaluate it through employees' feedback. The thesis, among other things, focuses on the whole process of the creation of the adaptation, including its administration and themes. The research of the opinions of the employees will review the present results of the adaptation and will give a base for decisions on how to continue with this effort. All activities in this process were done by the author himself while being an intern in the company and member of the adaptation project team. The target of the effort and the thesis itself is to have the adaptation project green lighted for the future continuation and to eliminate premature terminations of contracts of employment, which is why the SAP adaptations were thought of in the first place. The new concept of adaptation will benefit the company, the new employees, the creators of the concept, the tutors and the author and can act as an exemplar for other departments.

Schejbalová, Zuzana ; Frintová, Dita (advisor) ; Pohl, Tomáš (referee)
Resumé Proving guilt in a civil case is the most important part of judicial proceedings, since final decision of the court in a particular case results mainly from its course. This is also the main reason why I have chosen this issue as the topic of my diploma thesis. Studying this issue in depth and learning to orientate in it it's very contributive for each lawyer's practice. The diploma thesis consists of three main chapters, introduction and conclusion. The first chapter consists of five sub-chapters, they are of a general nature and explain elementary terms, institutes and principles of the procedural proving guilt; one of five sub-chapters describes the whole process of proving guilt. The aim of this chapter is to introduce the addressee into the issue and to explain elementary principles and problems of proving guilt in a civil case. The second chapter of the diploma thesis focuses on means of evidence, consisting of two chapters, while one deals with means of evidence in general, and the other, much more extensive, analyses specifically each means of evidence. The aim of this chapter is to provide a general survey of means of evidence and also to cover interesting opinions of various authors concerning some of them. The third and vital chapter of the diploma thesis focuses on safeguarding of proofs...

Inhabitants of Hlučínsko-region in the Czechoslowak foreign army in the West
Neminář, Jiří ; Čechurová, Jana (advisor) ; Plachý, Jiří (referee)
The thesis deals with the almost unknown theme - the soldiers from the district of Hlucin serving in the Czechoslovakian foreign legions in the West. Using the example of the inhabitants of the Hlucin area, it shows the conditions under which the former Wermacht soldiers' recruitment to the Czechoslovakian army had taken place. It tries to give a true picture of the specifics of the participants from the district of Hlucin in the foreign revolt and to outline the possible motivation for the decision to enter the foreign legions, the way the soldiers presented themselves in front of the interrogating officers as well as different views of their evaluation from the Czechoslovakian officers' perspective. The goal of the thesis is to show the almost unknown reality of their military service besides Wehrmacht and to bring the total number and ranks of the soldiers from the district of Hlucin within the Czechoslovakian troops to light. Both the quantitative analysis based on the list of the individual soldiers and several qualitative analyses dealing mostly with military draft and interrogation documents helped to reach the goal. Besides, the fonds of various military institutions and the local Hlucin authorities were also taken into account.

Nursing care of patients after cardiopulmonary resuscitation
MINAŘÍKOVÁ, Veronika
The theme of this work is acute as the most common cause of death in most Western European countries is a cardiac arrest. Mortality after an arrest outside hospital is around 65- 95% and 40- 50% after an cardiac arrest in hospital. The prognosis is uncertain, but it could be improved by early and effective cardiopulmonary resuscitation. As everyone can encounter a situation in which they should be able to use parts of cardiopulmonary resuscitation, it is therefore necessary to know its basic principles and to be able to help a person in life-threatening situations. Early and proper first aid is usually life-saving, and therefore laic and professional knowledge of resuscitation is crucial. The emphasis, which is based on the results of many studies, shifts to the fastest and most effective action on the site of the accident. The importance of cardiopulmonary resuscitation and nursing care for the patient during this phase led to the elaboration of the theoretical work Nursing Care of Patients after Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation. The first chapter of this thesis deals with the basic characteristics of cardiopulmonary resuscitation, in the second chapter describes compact nursing care. Therefore, the third chapter of this thesis deals with the ethical and legal aspects of the decision making about cardiopulmonary resuscitation. As it is a psychological burden that threatens medical staff with stress and burnout, the last chapter is devoted to the mental stress of nurses who take care of patients after cardiopulmonary resuscitation. The first objective of this theoretical bachelor thesis was, based on the literature sources, to map comprehensively the care of patients after cardiopulmonary resuscitation. This includes mapping techniques of cardiopulmonary resuscitation according to the latest recommendations, and then mapping the complex nursing care of the patient after successfully restored blood circulation. Given that death has become unacceptable in today's society and is perceived as a failure of medicine, the medical personnel are faced with a difficult situation. Still more and more progress and achievements in the treatment give the public the feeling that medicine is omnipotent. But keep in mind the possible downsides of the success in the treatment, sometimes at the expense of the quality of the patient's life. Therefore, the second aim of this study was to map comprehensively the ethical and legal aspects of the decision to start cardiopulmonary resuscitation. For the theoretical part of the thesis, the method of design and demonstrations was chosen. To obtain the awareness of the latest recommendations in cardiopulmonary resuscitation, the subsequent comprehensive care of the patient after the restoration of spontaneous circulation, and ethical and legal aspects of the decision to start cardiopulmonary resuscitation, which is captured in the following pages, was necessary to study bibliographic publications from experts in the field of anesthesia, resuscitation, law and ethics, as well as Czech and foreign professional journals and articles. Through the detailed study of the professional literature, it has been attempted to give a relevant statement about the ascertained facts. The information obtained is further elaborated in the individual chapters. The study is theoretical and is intended primarily for healthcare professionals in the care of patients after cardiopulmonary resuscitation. Finally, the thesis contains the area of mental health and struggle with stress and burnout. The theme of cardiopulmonary resuscitation is still acute, since today's modern society is full of lifestyle diseases, full of stress and haste, which can threaten individuals with a sudden loss of vital functions; whatever the cause of the problems is.

The Danish System of Out-Of Home Care
Otřísalová, Kristina ; Vorlová, Marie (advisor) ; Koláčková, Jana (referee)
This dissertation tries to deal with differences and similarities in Danish and Czech system of out of- home care. It describes the system of out-of-home care in Denmark and compares some particular topics with the system of out-of-home care in Czech Republic. This comparison should serve as an inspiration for the Czech system, which in many ways needs to be improved. It may be a bit surprising, that the share of children, who are brought up in different kinds of out of home care is about the same in Denmark and in Czech Republic. Where these two systems differ is the balance between different types of out-of-home care. The Czech system still deals with a big amount of children in different types of residential care rather than in foster care or adoption. The other big difference is in the matter of how the systems are organised in general. Danish system seems to give bigger emphasis on the personal responsibility and ability to make a right decision about the future of a child or a young person, which is then not needed to be examine by another authority. Strong emphasis is put on the responsible work of each local authority. Danish system is also more systematical than the Czech one in the matter of social work with family of the placed child and systematic work with the child's case in general....

"In Love He Predestinated Us..." Predestination. Sain Paul, Saint Augustin and Vladimír Boublík
BRICHCÍNOVÁ, Kateřina
The doctrine of predestination in Western theology had for centuries been burdened by the dualistic conception of Saint Augustine. The bishop of Hippo held that it is God?s intention to reveal His mercy on a small number of those predestined to salvation and His justice on a far larger mass of rightly damned sinners. He came to be convinced that salvation is an utterly undeserved gift and consequently he negated the importance of human freedom. His interpretation would rather give rise to anxiety than the hope Scripture speaks about. Vladimír Boublík dared to oppose Augustine?s authority and presented an entirely different solution based on modern exegesis of the Pauline epistles. He defined predestination as an irreversible divine decision the content of which is the participation of all humanity on divine life in Christ. The present paper shows that Boublík?s theology stems from not just academic, but above all existential search for the answer to the question of human destiny marked with sin, suffering and death. It is already apparent on the pages of the spiritual diary the author kept during his studies. All his writing shows the intention to address his contemporaries and lead them to Christ who stands in the centre of the author?s thinking. This paper attempts to follow up on the work of the Czech exile theologian. It presents his conception of predestination and further develops it in some respects. Besides other things, it throws light on the previously unclarified problem of Christ?s primacy in predestination. Vladimír Boublík?s thesis is confronted with objections that have been raised against it and its content is compared with the content of today?s contribution to the topic.
