Comparison of legal regulations of the private limited company in Czech republic and Spain
Krajňáková, Viera ; Grmelová, Nicole (advisor) ; Patočka, Radim (referee)
The thesis is aimed at the comparison of legal regulations of the private limited company in spanish and czech law, especially because this type of company belongs currently to one of the most wide-spreaded forms of business associations and as such creates the legal framework for the development of small and medium enterpreneurship. The thesis is divided into several thematic parts describing particular features of private limited company. This way I tried to find the most important differences between these two systems of law with the intention of clearing their advantages and also disadvantages.

The effect of the new legal regulations of the temporary job disability and its trend in the South Bohemia
SALVOVÁ, Jana
The Public Sickness Insurance Act (Act no. 187/2006 Coll.) which replaced the existing fragmented law regulations governing the subsystem of the public sickness insurance regime in the Czech Republic became effective as of 1 January 2009. The new law regulations in the field of public sickness insurance was expected to bring, among other aspects, a higher motivation of employees and employers for reduction of the events of unjustified temporary work incapacity. The main aim of the Bachelor{\crq}s Dissertation was to find out whether the new law regulation fulfilled the intents and whether the rate of temporary work incapacity of employees decreased and whether the average duration of temporary work incapacity in the Region of South Bohemia dropped in comparison with the situation before 1 January 2009. While drawing up the Bachelor{\crq}s Dissertation, the author used a quantitative research and statistical data analysis. It implied from the results found that the hypothesis ``The number of temporary work incapacities in the Region of South Bohemia dropped in comparison with the situation before 1 January 2009{\crqq} was confirmed. The fulfilment of the hypothesis is correlated with the legislator{\crq}s intent in this area because its fulfilment was intended in the objectives of the new law regulations. The implementation of the new Public Sickness Insurance Act led to a significant reduction of the number of cases of temporary work incapacity. On the basis of the analysis of the data acquired it was proven that the time of duration of one temporary work incapacity was extended in all districts of the Region of South Bohemia. The hypothesis ``The average time of temporary work incapacity in the Region of South Bohemia dropped in comparison with the situation before 1 January 2009{\crqq} was not confirmed. The results of the Dissertation indicate that the adoption of the new law regulation system of public sickness insurance led to the system stabilisation, elimination of undesired trends in the sickness insurance system, limitation of misuse of benefits, involvement of treating physicians and employers in the reduction of the number of cases of temporary work incapacity. The implementation of the new law regulations managed to achieve this objective. Therefore the results found can be used by the Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs as a certain form of feedback relating to implementation of the new law regulation of the public sickness benefit insurance system and the professional public.

Cholinergic regulation of ion transport in the large intestine
Hock, Miroslav ; Pácha, Jiří (advisor) ; Moravec, Jan (referee) ; Kolínská, Jiřina (referee)
anglicky Acetylcholine is one of the most important mediators of enteric nervous system involved in the regulation of ion transport in the large intestine. Although, recently, plenty of new evidences of various expression of ion transport proteins in distal and proximal colon was published, there still lacks an electrophysiological study comparing these parts of colon considering all that new findings. The aim of this study was thus to compare cholinergic regulation of ion transport in distal and proximal colon. We measured responses of distal and proximal colon in Ussing chambers by voltage-clamp method. The colonic epithelium was clamped to 0 mV and responses were recorded as changes of short-circuit current (SCC). Instead of acetylcholine we used its stable analogue carbachol. Data were processed and analyzed using a VBA code I wrote for this purpose for MS Excel 2007. We confirmed that carbachol acts directly on epithelial cells via muscarinic acetylcholine receptors in both, distal and proximal colon. These responses to carbachol were not influenced by inhibitors of Cl- channels situated in apical membrane (CFTRinh-172 and niflumic acid). Inhibition of basolateral influx of Cl- by serosal Ba2+ and furosemid reduced responses to carbachol in both, distal and proximal colon. Inhibitors of K+...

Regulation of gene expression of HSP70 genes and its dependence on the genotype of HSP70 genes.
Ambrož, Antonín ; Novota, Peter (advisor) ; Kotrbová - Kozak, Anna Katarzyna (referee)
The topic of the presented thesis is the regulation of gene expression level of the three HSP70 genes in mononuclear cells. We investigated the dependence of expression regulation (induction) abiliy on selected point mutations, so-called SNPs (single nucleotide polymorphism) in the observed genes. The mononuclear cells were obtained from peripheral blood samples of healthy individuals. In order to analyze their gene expression, we selected individuals who were homozygous for at least one of the monitored point mutations. Taking into account the chosen criteria for healthy individuals we based on interviews with these individuals and their personal history. We determined the polymorphisms observed in two cell stress-inducible HSP70-1 (HSPA1A) and HSP70-2 (HSPA1B) genes and in one constitutively expressed gene HSP70-Hom (HSPA1L). Further, we have analyzed HSP70s gene expression regulation and the relation between the expression regulation and studied polymorphisms. We determined the degree of regulation of a gene expression in the studied genes in relation to two SNPs -110A/C (rs1008438), +190G /C (rs1043618) gene HSP70-1, and two SNPs +1267A/G (rs1061581), +2074G /C (rs539689 ) of the HSP70-2 gene, and the mutation of one five-nucleotide (rs9281590) HSP70-2 gene, and one SNP +2437T/C (rs2227956) of...

Legal reasons for termination of apartment lease with specific reference to notice of apartment termination
Bajura, Jan ; Salač, Josef (advisor) ; Dvořák, Jan (referee) ; Petr, Bohuslav (referee)
This dissertation deals with the termination of the apartment lease with specific reference to notice of lease termination. The author's ambition was aimed at complex summarizing and describing these problems with respect to the available jurisdiction and results of the legal science. The dissertation presents the author's de lege lata and de lege ferenda considerations and also presents the author's views on the topical and controversial issues which are contentious from the point of view of practice. The legal regulation in effect is evaluated in comparison with the regulation that is to come in force on November 1, 2011 (Act No. 132/2011 Sb.), possibly which is being prepared only (draft Civil Code). Some part of the dissertation also compares the situation abroad. The legal regulation in effect is evaluated with respect to its use in current practice. The secondary author's objective was to create the course book that could be used by the legal faculties' students and possibly by legal professionals. The introductory part is focused on the way of the apartment lease termination at the common level. The lease of the apartment is a protected legal relation that could be terminated by the legal way only. An agreement, withdrawal of the agreement, termination, completing the work for the lessor,...

Gene expression analysis in patients with myelodysplastic syndrome
Vašíková, Alžběta ; Votavová, Hana (advisor) ; Neuwirtová, Radana (referee) ; Jarošová, Marie (referee)
Myelodysplastic syndrome (MDS) is a clonal disorder affecting maturation and differentiation of hematopoietic stem cells. MDS is characterized by ineffective hematopoiesis resulting in peripheral blood cytopenia in at least one lineage, and increased risk of development of acute myeloid leukemia (AML). This disorder mostly affects the elderly, with the incidence of 10-50/100000 people per year. Heterogeneity of MDS is further underlined by the presence of both idiopathic primary and secondary therapy-related forms, which arise from accumulation of mutational events induced by cytotoxic therapy (exposure to alkylating agents or after therapy with topoisomerase II inhibitors). In this thesis, we focused on determination of differential gene expression between MDS patients and control subjects using different microarray platforms. Using nylon membranes, we detected 4 genes (ERCC1, FLT1, NME4, PCNA) with increasing expression pattern in advanced MDS stages, which correlated with disease progression. Their strong up- regulation was also observed in patients with de novo AML, suggesting their involvement in the leukemic transformation of MDS. Comparison of gene expression profiles of early and advanced MDS obtained by Agilent microarrays resulted in the set of differentially expressed genes, which might...

Case Study: Day-Care Center and Childern Culture
Saladygová, Magda ; Abu Ghosh, Yasar (advisor) ; Ezzeddine, Petra (referee)
This case study based on a fieldwork carried out in a Day-Care Center tries to describe the process of the transition from mothering to wider society which is represented by a classroom of preschool children. Within this process we can note and describe specific ways of parent's, teacher's and especially children's actions. These activities are repeatedly produced. The point of departure is the Hirschfeld's article "Why Don't Anthropologists like Children?" (Hirschfeld, 2002) and his affirmation that children are active participants within process of accepting of social regulations and values and that they create their own culture, "children culture". This study ilustrates that the process of the transition from mothering to wider society is in the first place the process of the separation of child and mother. Within this process we note the function of the "object transitional" that compensate the absence of mother. And we can also observe how the group of pupils is formed and how their group identity is created. This group is situated in a specific place and time. And we observe that all individual actions concerning child are "embodied"- it's because we talk about an "experience that involve the whole person, including the body" (Abu-Lughold, Lutz, 1990 cit. in Ben-Ari, 1998: 138).

The effects of advertising on children's eating habits and its regulations
Bičovská, Dana ; Postler, Milan (advisor) ; Mikeš, Jiří (referee)
This thesis deals with the effects of advertising on children's eating habits in relation to its regulations. The aim is to analyze the impact of advertising on children in this sensitive area and assess whether the current regulations are sufficient. This thesis is divided into two parts, the first of which is devoted to the theory and the second applies this knowledge into practice. The first chapter of the theoretical part describes the principles of marketing, the second one is devoted to marketing and commercial communications, specifically to advertising as one of the forms. In the third chapter the topic of marketing segmentation is discussed and the last part deals with children as a specific consumer in relation to advertising, including connection with their eating habits. In the practical part the research was conducted in order to determine how much children are influenced by food product advertising. Based on the results individual knowledge was summarized.

Advertisement aimed at children and its ethic framework
VOTRUBOVÁ, Jindra
The thesis debates the issue of mass communication and one of its important parts - advertisment. It is focusing on advertisment aimed at children, describes the means and sources of its regulation - be it legal or self-regulation. It explains the workings of the Committee for advertisment and compares the legal regulation and self-regulation in Slovakia and Germany. The thesis is pointing at the need of regulation of unethical advertisments which is abusing its influence on the child consumers. It is also stressing the need of teaching children media literacy which should be the children's first line of defence against the influence of advertisment.
