Czech Republics Strategy of Enforcement of Busoness-economical Concernments in Foreign Countries

The aims of this study are to analyze the situation of the business field in foreign markets, valorize the state support to the firms during entering the foreign markets, comparison of the business possibilities in the Czech Republic with the advanced countries and definition of the crucial areas for the more effective realization of the commercialize and economic policy of the state. The work is separated into six parts. In the first part, there is a short summary of literature, the second part is connected with methods. The third part analyzes the fact, if the manufacturing corporations in the Ceske Budejovice region feel to be competitive in foreign markets, if they have problems during entering the foreign markets, if they use state support of export and if they feel that the state obtain a brief of them well. This study was executed on the basis of survey sampling, which was done by e-mail questioning. The obtain data were analyzed and diagrammatized. The fourth chapter charts the support of export, which are offered to the exporters by the Czech Republic. The fifth part analyzes the support of abroad export and limits the positives and negatives of the Czech firms. The last chapter analyzes the commercialize and economic policy of the Czech Republic and defines its key areas.

Tato bakalářská práce se úzce týká výuky manažerských her a dává si za cíl navrhnout inovaci výuky ze studentského pohledu. Analyzováním studentských manažerských her vytvořených v minulém semestru jsou v práci objasněny rysy a prvky kvalitní manažerské hry. Dále je zde vytvořen manuál pro jejich vývoj jako metodický prvek pro studenty v příštích semestrech a časový plán tvorby manažerských her v průběhu semestru. Skutečným přínosem práce je tedy návrh inovace výuky manažerských her v předmětu 4SA414 ? Systémy pro podporu rozhodování.

Cílem práce je přinést ucelený pohled na problematiku marketingu ve vyhledávačích v kontextu internetového marketingu a je rozdělena na teoretickou a praktickou část. Teoretická část se zabývá třemi základními tématy. Optimalizace pro vyhledávače, internetová reklama a služby Google na podporu internetového marketingu. Praktická část je analýza přístupnosti, SEO analýza a marketingová analýza webových stránek jazykové školy Tandem. Cílem praktické části je analyzovat současný stav a navrhnout řešení, jak přivést více návštěvníků na web jazykové školy Tandem jak z placených, tak neplacených kanálů. Přínosem práce je kritické zhodnocení současného stavu webové prezentace jazykové školy Tandem a návrh ke zlepšení, aplikace teoretických poznatků z první části práce na praktickou situaci webu jazykové školy Tandem.

Expert systems in medicine and a diagnostic application design prototype

Tématem práce je charakteristika expertních systémů, možnosti jejich aplikace v medicíně a návrh prototypu expertního systému pro podporu rozhodování při určování maligního/benigního charakteru patologických ložisek při ultazvukovém vyšetřování vnitřních orgánů. Práce obsahuje strukturovaný popis jednotlivých expertních systémů používaných v klinické praxi. V části věnované návrhu expertního systému je popsán postup lékaře při vyšetřování a popis jednotlivých faktorů, podle kterých usuzuje na charakter analyzovaného patologického ložiska; práce popisuje možné přístupy k tvorbě expertního systému a podrobněji se zabývá případovým usuzováním (case-based reasoning), které je vybráno jako nejvhodnější metoda pro projekt takového systému.

Corporate performance management (CPM) and its use in practice

This thesis addresses a new management approach - "Corporate Performance Management" (CPM). It sets forth the concept of this new approach as a business performance monitoring and strategic support tool, its assumptions, framework, components, relationship to business intelligence, and related methodologies. Particular focus is placed on "key performance indicators" (KPI), their characteristics, segmentation, methods for their selection, and implementation procedures. The theoretical part of this work is devoted to creating a methodology by which CPM can be effectively implemented on projects in the financial sector with an emphasis on the critical success factors of such a project as a whole. The primary elements of this methodology are the selection of the best possible metrics, the project's overall success and the development of efficient reporting. The practical part of this work initially introduces "Project KPI 2008", which ran in Komerční banka (Czech Commercial Bank), then pits it against the theoretical methodologies defined in the theoretical section. The entire project is then assessed based on the results of the comparison, and finally, conclusions and recommendations are made for the future of this project. The main asset of this thesis is its creation of the afore-mentioned management methodologies and the ideal, course to be taken in implementing a KPI-focused project. This work is valuable not only for investigating key performance indicators themselves, but also as an informative tool for managers who would like to acquaint themselves with or learn more about the CPM concepts in general.

Comparison of robust and open source database management systems

Práce se zabývá problematikou objektově-relačních databázových systémů. Cílem je analýza současné situace na poli databázových platforem ze sféry tradičních robustních i open source produktů, která by vedla k posouzení předpokladů uplatnění otevřených databázových platforem v oblastech dosud charakteristických především pro tradiční distributory. Na počátku práce nejprve přibližuji čtenáři otázky související s distribucí softwaru (proprietární vs. open source) a základní pojmy v oboru databázových systémů. Po tomto výchozím uvedení stanovuji kriteria pro následnou komparaci vybraných databázových platforem, která předurčují další postup v rozhodující části věnované komparační analýze. K dovršení celého rozboru práci uzavírám nastíněním přítomných možností využití tradičních robustních a především pak open source databázových systémů. Komparační analýza je vystavena na základě předem definovaných kritérií do pěti oddílů zohledňujících základní charakteristiky, technologické a funkční vlastnosti, bezpečnost, dostupnost i podporu produktů a nevěnuje se rozboru z hlediska výkonu a optimalizace. Za účelem srovnání byly vybrány čtyři přední databázové systémy ? Oracle, DB2, Teradata a PostgreSQL. V návaznosti na důkladnou analýzu, která vedla ke zmapování aktuální situace na databázovém trhu, jsou v závěru práce vytknuty hlavní faktory kolidující širšímu uplatnění open source platforem.

Analysis of information needs in Security division of P. Dussmann s.r.o. and suggestion of infomation system responding to them.

Main goal of this bachelor work is analysis of information need in company and suggestion of improvements mainly archieved by application of modern technologies and digitalisation of day-to-day informtion. It's divided into two main parts. Theoretical part is concerned about definition of term information and information need. Information need is then discussed more detailed way and divided into sections of typical manufacturing company because it has maybe most complex information need. Information need is then supported by technology and it's beginning of the most complex theoretical therm of this work -- information system. When information systems are presented practical part of this work is able to start. First half of practical part is devoted to analysis of information need in analyzed company mainly targeting users and their information needs and technology supporting them. Second half is devoted to suggestions of improvements in technologies and maybe most important section of transferring paper-based data to digital. This is finally supported by conceptual data model replacing all paper forms. At the end there is financial calculation of one possible solution.
