Business environment, negotiation habits and specific cultural differences of India based on the experience of Czech travel agency Adventura, s.r.o.

The thesis deals with an attractive economic environment of India and its market capacity. Besides, it is focused on people's mentality and specific cultural differences. Their knowledge together with cultural respect forms the ground of international trade negotiation. Basic territory characteristics are debated afterwards as well as bilateral foreign trade between India and Czech Republic. Nevertheless, the main attention is devoted to the mentality of Indian businessmen -- a questionnaire, filled out by employees of travel agency Adventura, reveals similar experience of both regular tour guides and international managers when doing business in India. Negotiation belongs to Indians body and soul, no matter how "important" the deal is.The objective of this work is to underline the importance of intercultural perception that assumes always more attention in times of swift globalization.
Historical and Political Factors Influencing Relations between India and Pakistan

The objective of this thesis is to provide the reader with an overview of the most important factors that have influenced the development of the India-Pakistan relations. The period of the colonial British India is treated, as well as the consequences of its dismantling. The most crucial conflicts between India and Pakistan are analysed, along with their impact on the mutual relations. The origins of the grudge between Hindus and Muslims are explained in the indo- pakistani context. Having analysed the causes and consequences of the dissolution of Pakistan, the author of this paper focuses on mutual indo-pakistani cooperation, as well as the role of nuclear weapons with regard to the contemporary problems of both countries.
The Influence of Information Technology Outsourcing on the Economy of India

The objective of the thesis was to evaluate the influence of the information technology outsourcing on the economic development of India. The first chapter focuses on the phenomenon of outsourcing in today's world economy, including its reasons, benefits and risks. The second chapter deals with economic development of India and its strengths and weaknesses with regard to outsourcing. The final chapter evaluates the influence of information technology outsourcing on the economy of India with the help of some macroeconomic indicators (GDP, balance of payments, FDI) and indicates possible trends of its future development.

The Thesis handle about the Indian gastronomy. The theoretical part introduceces India and it's position in the world tourism, it's history and influences of the history on the gastronomy. Next part introduces basic foodstuffs, differences between indian regions, religion restrictions and the etiquette of indian dining. The practical part evaluates Indian gastronomy in Prague. There is one chosen restaurant near specified and compared with it's competition.

The BRIC nations are Brazil, Russia, India and China, for the purpose of this thesis I concentrate on Brazil and India. Potential is the word that springs to mind when Brazil and India are mentioned. Brazil and India are developing countries with low GDP per capita (PPP). I demonstrate that Brazil and India have the potential to become world economy leaders in the very near future. This thesis therefore focuses on aspects that have a significant if not a crucial impact on fulfilling the potential of Brazil and India as world economical leaders.

Goal of this diploma thesis is to indentify social and cultural aspects of management and the work environment in India. It is concerned with perception of the indian management and work environment of the indian companies by representatives of the czech culture. The thesis analyses problematic areas in the communication and interaction of both cultures. The problems are different peception of time, time managemnt, strategic planning, autoritative leading, formal communication, motivating and different view on emancipation. The result of the research are few advices to representatives of both cultures regarding problematic areas which are mentioned above, for example manager training, teambuildings, etc.
India as an important participant in international relations: application on the example of Africa

The significance of India in the international system has been increasing not only because of its fast economic development. As one of the manifestations of India's growing position can be considered the expanding of interests to African continent, which is the pivotal topic of this diploma thesis. The presence of India in Africa and its foreign policy towards this continent was analyzed on the basis of the method of four level analysis, which means foreign policy of India towards Africa is examined on levels of international system, state, domestic influences and individuals. To show the position of India in Africa in full context the part comparing its activities with another Asian economic power -- China - is included.

Bachelor thesis deals with the current state of the Indian economy and its position in the global economy. In the first part of the thesis is described briefly the development of the Indian economy in the 90th the 20th century and the current developments in macroeconomic indicators. The second part is devoted to foreign trade and foreign investment. The last part deals with trade relations between India and the Czech Republic.
China and India as a part of the Asian developing center

China and India are currently one of the fastest growing economies in the world. Because of more or less successful reforms enacted 30 years ago in China and 15 years ago in India, both countries have become more open to the outside world and have managed to build a strong presence in the world markets. This paper aims to describe this development and the status quo of the selected areas of international trade, leading to a comparison of the gathered data.
