The Valley's Topoclimate and Its Influence on the Vegetation
Kuželová, Hana ; Sládek, Ivan (advisor) ; Klabzuba, Jiří (referee)
The Valley's Topoclimate and Its Influence on The Vegetation Abstract The thesis as presented deals with specific valley's topoclimate of a chosen example of one particular valley located near the city Jílové u Prahy. The main objective of the thesis which has been defined is to evaluate the topoclimate of the determined area and its influence on the phytogeographical and phenological situation of the valley. The outdoor temperature measurements carried out by using Assmann's psychrometer as well as the observations of the plant's phenological state have been taken in the course of repeated expeditions into the valley in 2011 and 2012. The formations of night valley's inversions have been confirmed. The temperature gradient of 6 řC and three and half an hour long inversion following the sunrise have been recorded as a result of the measurement performed on 28th April 2012. As a consequence of the valley's parts shading the temperature differences have been proven. As a referential meteorological station the faculty's own station situated on the peak of Pecný hill and the automated personal weather station in Okrouhlo were used. The lower temperatures in the valley have a clear impact on the commencement of the plant's phenological stages. A detailed phenological scale was created in order to observe...

Our Křížová Street
Sopoušková, Petra ; Nekvindová, Terezie (referee) ; Klímová, Barbora (advisor)
The topic of my diploma thesis is connected to my previous studies at faculty of architecture. My intention is to explore very undesignable organic development of urban spaces, but for an architect it is difficult and unusual to work with because of standardized planning process of public spaces. Using art based research I am trying to find, define, and prove existence of mental space that complements material shape of urbanized areas. As a locality for experiment I chose a street I live in for five years, and simultaneously had a wretched destiny – the Křížová Street of Old Brno district. As a piece of diploma project I present a lecture and lecture noteshowing – results of abstract contemplation gained by research in the locality. The aim of lecture is to encourage audience in ability to percieve and trust in existence of mental space in a way I described it.

Transfer vibration through spine
Benyovszky, Adam ; Jelen, Karel (advisor) ; Lopot, František (referee)
Transfer Vibration through Spine Abstract In the bachelor project we deal with the topic of Transfer Vibration through Spine. The problem of TVS is trying to be solved by the critical review method. We analyse some diagnostic methods and methods of treatment based on this principle. Close attention is paid to the method of Transfer Vibration through Spine that is being currently solved by The Research Institute of Thermomechanics in The Czech Academy of Sciences in cooperation with Faculty of Physical Education and Sport. In the text are also searched mathematical description and biomechanical qualities of spine system that are related to these mentioned methods. The project is also used as a theoretical base for future experimental part of the research. Keywords: mechanical wave, intervertebral disc, spine, Transfer Vibration through Spine, connective tissue.

Physiological Principle of Neurorehabilitation : Diffuse Cerebral Hypoxia
Altmanová, Jana ; Angerová, Yvona (advisor) ; Pitrmanová, Věra (referee)
OF BACHELOR THESIS Title: Physiological principle of neurorehabilitation Subtitle: Diffuse cerebral hypoxia Abstract of Bachelor thesis: This experimental work deals with the verification of a hypothesis that secondary brain changes induced by hypoxia can be influenced by neurorehabilitation. The aim is to determinate the effect of motor training in combination with erythropoietin and enriched environment on the functional state of a rat brain after hypoxia. The research subjects was 31 laboratory rats who were exposed to an altitude of 8,000 meters above sea level in hypobaric chamber, which induced diffuse cerebral hypoxia. The studied group of rats was subjected to regular motor training and was compared with the control group which underwent the rehabilitation without motor training. The experiment lasted 8 weeks and took place at the Institute of Physiology, First Faculty of Medicine. Results of the study showed improvement in the functional status of rats that were living in an enriched environment, were applied erythropoietin and underwent daily motor training. The increasing incidence of people who survive brain damage, connected with an oxygen deficiency, increases the importance of monitored dependencies between the neurorehabilitation and the functional state of the organism. The...

Monitoring of agricultural land by using the satellite high temporal resolution data in Czechia
Oubrechtová, Veronika ; Jedlička, Jan (referee) ; Štych, Přemysl (advisor)
Monitoring of agricultural land by using the satellite high temporal resolution data in Czechia Abstract This Bachelor thesis deals with the usage of the satellite high temporal resolution data in the field of agriculture. Our faculty gains these satellite data from satellite ENVISAT, concretely from spectometer MERIS. The first half of the work contains the theoretical elaboration of remote sensing and electromagnetic radiation and its interaction with land surface. The spectral reflectance of agricultural land and the vegetation index are analyzed in the second part of the work. Keywords: remote sensing, spectral reflectance, Normalized Difference Vegetation Index, MERIS
