SAMKO,Milan: Dialectological and sociolinguistic Aspects of Contact between two North - central Roma Language Subdialects in the Town of Jelšava [Doctoral thesis]/Mgr.Milan Samko-Charles University in Prague. Faculty of Philosophy & Art; Qualification level: doctor philosopiae (PhD.).- Prague:UK,2011.p.142 .+ appendix p.48. Doctoral thesis deals in with Roma language in the town of Jelšava. Subdialect of native Roma town citizens (hereinafter L1) and the subdialect of Roma citizens who moved in to the town of Jelšava (hereinafter L2). Goal of our paper is to present selected dialectological and sociolinguistic aspects of contact between L1 - L2. In pursuance of selected phenomenons we want to present contrastivity L1 - L2, lexical variation L1 - L2, extent and tenor of L1 ↔ L2 accommodation. We interpret and confront these within three generations of L1 and three generations of L2, aggregate for L1 and aggregate for L2. Our paper likes to observe the rate of change and evolutional tendencies in this area, from oldest L1 and L2 generation to youngest L1 and L2 generation. Young generation represents for us the indicator of evolutional tendencies and predictions for observation of these linguistic processes. The town of Jelšava is for us the only one known habitat in Slovak republic, where these...

ŠTANGL, Jiří
Master's thesis focuses on numerical modeling of automotive tasks. The text is divided into two main parts. A fuel supply module is the main topic of all numeric analyses of this thesis and it is introduced in the first part. Basics of theoretical continuum mechanics and finite elements method are also explained in the first part. The second part is split into two main topics of the fuel supply module - material damping and contact numerical modeling. Practical reasons for parameter optimization are explained along with particular optimization results and underlying theoretical background.

Building credit scoring models using selected statistical methods in R
Jánoš, Andrej ; Bašta, Milan (advisor) ; Pecáková, Iva (referee)
Credit scoring is important and rapidly developing discipline. The aim of this thesis is to describe basic methods used for building and interpretation of the credit scoring models with an example of application of these methods for designing such models using statistical software R. This thesis is organized into five chapters. In chapter one, the term of credit scoring is explained with main examples of its application and motivation for studying this topic. In the next chapters, three in financial practice most often used methods for building credit scoring models are introduced. In chapter two, the most developed one, logistic regression is discussed. The main emphasis is put on the logistic regression model, which is characterized from a mathematical point of view and also various ways to assess the quality of the model are presented. The other two methods presented in this thesis are decision trees and Random forests, these methods are covered by chapters three and four. An important part of this thesis is a detailed application of the described models to a specific data set Default using the R program. The final fifth chapter is a practical demonstration of building credit scoring models, their diagnostics and subsequent evaluation of their applicability in practice using R. The appendices include used R code and also functions developed for testing of the final model and code used through the thesis. The key aspect of the work is to provide enough theoretical knowledge and practical skills for a reader to fully understand the mentioned models and to be able to apply them in practice.

Perspectives in diamond thin film technology
Kromka, Alexander
Synthetic diamond thin films are routinely grown over world not only for basic research but also for industrial uses. At the Institute of Physics (IoP), diamond thin films are grown since 2002. The first installed deposition system is base on microwave plasma enhanced chemical vapor deposition (CVD) in hydrogen reach gas mixture (<2% methane diluted in hydrogen). This system is well suitable for fast growth of high quality diamond films up to 5 cm in diameter. The main advance of the system is cavity like resonator which allows running stable CVD process for several days at relatively high pressures (>200 mbar).

A Comparison of Different Measurement Method of Mechanical Properties of Al Thin Film
Truhlář, M. ; Buršíková, V. ; Sobota, Jaroslav ; Kruml, Tomáš
The paper compares two different methods for testing of metallic thin films: microcompression test and nanoindentation. Microcompression test is one possibility how to perform mechanical tests on a very small scale. This method requires preparation of a small cylindrical specimen (micropillar) of micrometric size by FIB and execution of a compression test using nanoindenter device equipped with a flat diamond punch. Stressstrain curves of the thin films were obtained from such tests. Nanoindentation tests were then conducted to compare the results on the same films. Two different metal thin films – AlCuW, AlCuSi with thickness 2 .mu.m and grain size 3.8 .mu.m in average were prepared by PVD method. In this paper, we announce the results of measurements, a comparison of the results obtained by each method and identify advantages and limitations of the methods.

Thin metal films in resistivity-based chemical sensing
Podešva, Pavel ; Foret, František
Measurement of basic electric properties (current, voltage, resistance) is the most frequent technique in practically all scientific disciplines. Direct electric measurements are simple, precise and provide very large dynamic range. Since the related equipment is simple and inexpensive sensors based on electric measurements are very attractive for many applications in chemistry, environmental sciences or medicine. In this work, we present resistivity sensor for direct measurement of thiols in liquid samples.
