Keeping of drinking habits in hospices in case of walking patients
MATOUŠEK, Jan
This diploma thesis deals with the problem of the drinking-regime keeping in case of patients in hospices and in case of seniors living on their own. The phrase 'drinking regime' means correct fluid supplement which is necessary for a human body. It is the main way to recover the daily fluid loss. The intake of fluids is essential at any age, though even more essential it is at the old age, when the human body encounters considerable natural decrease in amount of fluids and what is more, when a man also loses the feeling of thirst. To stay healthy and in a good shape, it is necessary to maintain a balance between the intake and expenditure of fluids during a day. From this point of view, it is important to have a regular fluid intake during a day - especially to drink sth. before one starts to feel thirsty.

Comparison of chemical composition of aerosol particles in emissions from combustion of wood
Křůmal, Kamil ; Mikuška, Pavel ; Horák, J. ; Hopan, F.
The work deals with the comparison of emission factors of particles, polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons and organic markers from combustion of wood and coal in four boilers used for household heating in the Czech Republic. Combustion experiments were performed with reduced output of boilers (incomplete combustion) which showed real emissions from combustion of solid fuels in households.

Utilization of biomass for energetics
Bažant, Zdeněk ; Radil, Lukáš (referee) ; Macháček, Jan (advisor)
This bachelor’s thesis deals with processing and utilization of biomass energy in the power industry. There are described single types of processing of biomass. It is possible to find a comparison between countries in EU and other countries from all over the world as far as utilization of biomass is concerned. Another part of this thesis is the comparison of the main economics evaluations which are generally used for efficiency evaluation of planned projects involved in the power industry. Due to the rising prices of biomass and other kinds of fuel, there is a progress of prices of gas, biomass and coal for the last five years. The practical part is the evaluation of gas boiler exchanged for biomass boiler. The calculation is based on real data taken from invoice from heating season. At the conclusion there’s the general viewpoint on biomass and its development.

Inkrementální překlad v interaktivních systémech
Haluza, Pavel
Dissertation thesis deals with possibilities of incremental compiler construction. It represents the compiler construction possibilities for languages with a fixed set of lexical units and for languages with a variable set of lexical units, too. The methodology design for the incremental compiler construction is based on the known algorithms for standard compiler construction and derived for both groups of languages. The part focused on incremental compiling of common programming languages is based on a published methodology of incremental parser construction. The method uses syntax-directed translation scheme. The part focused on incremental compiling of languages with a variable set of lexical units is engaged in incremental compiler construction for on of the typical representantives, typographic system TeX. Unline the frontal compilation it is necessary to adapt the semantic actions to the incremental environment and bring additional information for their links to the appropriate location in the grammar rules. The thesis discusses the problem of the storage of information about current lexical units categories during the repeated compilation and it offers solutions. The thesis also describes the application of proposed methodology in the web application that is used for teaching the course Theory of programming languages at the Faculty of Business and Economics, Mendel University in Brno.

Nurse task when using invasive methods by chronic pain treatmet
VOJTOVÁ, Marie
The thesis is focused on a research and the evaluation of the nurse role during the invasive methods in chronic pain treatment and on a research the patient satisfaction and expectation with the nurses approach during the invasive methods in chronic pain treatment. The basis for the thesis processing is qualitative ? quantitative research carried out in the departments of pain treatment in four hospitals, in University Hospital Motol, University Hospital Brno, Hospital České Budějovice a.s., University Hospital PlzeňAlejSvobody. Qualitative research focuses on nurses working in the department of pain treatment using a method of questioning with the technique of non-standardized interview. Within qualitative research, we was looking for the answer to the research question: What is the nurse role during the invasive technique in chronic pain treatment? It was found, from the results of the interviews and their analysis, that nurses have within the invasive performance wide field of action and their role is changing in various stages of the entire performance. In all phases of the invasive performance, it´s essential the communication between the nurse and the patient. In the phase before the invasive performance and afterwards is the most dominated the educational role, except for the nursing role. Quantitative research using the questionnaire was intended for patients in the departments of pain treatment. The following predetermined hypothesis were verified using quantitative research: H1: Patients are satisfied with the nurses approach during the invasive techniques in pain treatment. H2: Patients with chronic pain during the invasive methods are expecting especially the empathetic approach from nurses. Evaluation of the questionnaires, which were voluntarily completed by patients, can be ended that both given hypothesis H1 and H2 have been confirmed and that the targets of qualitative researches have been met. The space for improvement can be found in the patient education before the invasive performance. Therefore We created educational material for patients. This educational material is not intended to replace the education conducted by nurses, it rather serves as a basis for the questions preparation that the patient will want to clarify before the invasive performance.
