Stability studies of monoclonal antibody nimotuzumab modified with chelator DTPA radiolabelled with lutetium-177 ([177Lu]Lu-hR3(p-SCN-Bn)DTPA) Diploma thesis David Korec Charles University in Prague, Faculty of Pharmacy in Hradec Králové Department of Biophysics and Physical Chemistry In this work was target to study the stability of monoclonal antibody Nimotuzumab, which was modified with chelator DTPA radiolabelled with radioactive Lutetium-177 ([177Lu] Lu-hR3 (p- SCN-Bn) DTPA). The radiochemical purity of the supplied antibody was 61%. For other uses had to purified. The chelator EDTA adds in addition for the labeled antibody. It has lower stability constant than the original chelating agent. He can catch the free ligand, which is excreted through the kidneys. For biodistribution studies is needed to ensure the highest purity that was well described by the distribution of radiopharmaceuticals in small bodies. Purification was used for gel permeation chromatography Sephadex. Purity was about 99%. HPLC analysis after one hour showed a small percentage of low molecular weight forms. It may be modified ligand with radionuclide or free radionuclide. At times long after purification the HPLC profile of low molecular weight fraction appeared in two peaks. They are therefore both options possible. The...

Very quickly switched to an existential plane, which culminated in the conviction of relativity of the all reality and the provisions of the relation as constitutive element of being. Through the labyrinth of revolution. The actors, plots and intersections of a political crisis (from November 1989 to June 1990)
Cena kvalitních studií - většinou politologické provenience - spočívá v neotřelých postřezích, v odhalování zajímavých analogií, totožností i rozdílů. Inspirativní i provokativní teze podněcují diskusi, vybízejí k souhlasné i nesouhlasné reakci. Meditace o "smyslu českých dějin" mají u nás silnou tradici, v současnosti však nemnoho osobností vládnoucích pronikavou silou vhledu do podstaty minulých dějů. Nejde totiž o nic menšího než osvětlit naši přítomnost v souvislostech běžnému...

Imaginary Elsewhere: The "West" in Czechoslovakian society in the time of Perestroika
Andělová, Kristina ; Pullmann, Michal (advisor) ; Randák, Jan (referee)
In societies of state socialism the image of West was usually characterized by high degree of ambivalence. On the one hand the West was a space where negative social and politic phenomena could be displaced - as negative film should the official image of evil West full of social insecurity, criminality and poverty, reassured Czechoslovakian citizens of rightness of building socialism. On the other hand entirely opposite scenes were part of the public meaning- unconcealed admiration of fashion trends inspired by western mass culture (films, music). There was not only the fascination with consumer commodities of the western World, but also an admiration of lot of nonmaterial aspects (freedom of press, traveling, ecologic, feministic, pacifistic movements etc.). The West became gradually something mystical- it was at the same time "familiar and inaccessible, real and abstract, mundane and exotic". This ambivalence and inaccessibility was transforming the West in some mysterious and dreamlike place where instead of evil, the promise of happiness could be projected. Despite the official ideology and censoring attempts that limited the information about life behind the Iron Curtain, citizens in Czechoslovakia had an opportunity to create their own, quite clear image of West. At the same time I am trying to...
