The Motivation of Pupils during German Lessons, and the Use of a "Language Portfolio"

tivierung der Schüler und Studenten beim Deutschunterricht. In der nahen Zukunft sollten die Zielanforderungen im Fremdsprachenunterricht auf einzelnen Schulstufen mit den Zielanforderungen, die durch den Europarat festgelegt worden sind, korrespondieren. Die in dem Grundlagendokument Der gemeinsame europäische Referenzrahmen für Sprachen beschriebenen gemeinsamen Referenzniveaus bilden die Grundlage für das Europäische Sprachenportfolio und dienen als Ausgangspunkt für die Festlegung der Lemziele. Die Einführung des Europäischen Sprachenportfolios in den Unterricht löst die Problematik der Motivation der Schüler und Studenten dadurch, dass von ihnen Eigeninitiative bei der Bestimmung der eigenen Ziele gefordert wird. Die Schüler und Studenten werden durch eigene Auswahl der Lerntätigkeiten aktiviert, sie lernen selbstständig und systematisch zu arbeiten, womit sie zur eigenen Entwicklung beitragen. Zugleich entwickeln sie die Fähigkeit der Selbstreflexion und der Selbstbewertung, die es ihnen ermöglicht, die Verantwortung für das eigene Lernen zu übernehmen. Franchising as a modern form of increasing competitivness of small and middle enterprises

V úvodní kapitole se zabývám konkurencí, jejím obecným pojetím a funkcí. V ekonomickém pojetí konkurence zmiňuji názory "klasiků" ekonomie Adama Smithe a Karla Marxe na konkurenci, kteří ji pojímají jako "střet kapitálu". V textu dále uvádím mikroekonomické dichotomie konkurence- dokonalou a nedokonalou konkurenci a její formy, a konkurenci cenovou a necenovou. Zmiňuji též mikroekonomickou diferenciaci konkurence podle trhu, na kterém ke konkurenčnímu boji dochází, tedy konkurenci mezi nabídkou a poptávkou, trh na straně poptávky (trh výrobce) a na straně nabídky (trh spotřebitele). Na závěr kapitoly uvádím manažerské pojetí konkurence, užívané v praxi. Analyzuji konkurenci na základě Porterovy teorie konkurenčních sil, kterou rozšiřuji o současný pohled na konkurenci v odvětví (podnikatelské oblasti) od J .Jiráska. Druhá část kapitoly seznamuje čtenáře s vývojovými formami konkurence, jak se postupně rozšiřoval její dosah. Uvádím zde konkurenci meziodvětvovou, produktovou, národní, mezinárodní, globální a alianční. V rámci mezinárodní konkurence připomínám teorii komparativních výhod. Závěrem kapitoly rozebírám současnou podobu konkurence, tzv. superkonkurenci. V další kapitole definuji, co je to konkurenceschopnost a všímám si jí na úrovni států a firem. Financial Supervision in Federal Republic of Germany

This thesis deals with the organizational structure of financial supervision in Germany with a view to asses the recently completed institutional integration. First, the overview of theoretical models of financial supervisory agencies is submitted including advantages and disadvantages of such concepts. Being aware of the absence of a sole universal applicable solution of the institutional organization of financial supervision, the fundamental requirements are introduced, generally imposed on every financial regulation system in order to perform its tasks effectively. The emphasis of this paper rests upon presenting the German financial supervision in several terms. The main section surveys the evolution of supervision until the formation of BaFin -- Federal Financial Supervision Agency, the ample scope is devoted to legal issues, the inner organization of BaFin is described in detail and the particular attention is paid to funding. The reality of day-to-day supervisory activities is explored in the passage related to problems of financial supervision, where especially the complex question of mutual cooperation between BaFin and Bundesbank In the field of bank supervision comes to light. The supervision-costs analysis focused on the situation prior to integration and mistakenly assumed course after its implementation supplements the general view. Considering all proposed facts the conclusion offers a review of assumptions ensuring a proper supervisory structure.

Die Linke: development, ideology and position in the political system in Germany

This thesis deals with the German political party "Die Linke" (The Left). Die Linke was founded in 2007 by merging two different parties, namely Linkspartei.PDS, which was preceded by the ruling party of the GDR, and WASG, composed of West German activists and former party members of the Social Democratic Party. The opening parts contain definitions of basic terminology and a brief history of parties preceding Die Linke. The following sections deal with how the dual history of the party reflects in its organisation, its program and electorate. The party programs are also used to analyze its key program points and their evolution over time. The party's ideology is also examined. This thesis also deals with the current position of Die Linke within the German party system, in terms of both the voters and election results, and relations with other relevant parties.

Signs in the streets - Comparison of Danish and Czech city design is a desk study which is concerned with history and forms of visual communication in public area and its position in the early 21st century. The target of these graduation theses was compare the position and level of visual communication in Denmark and in the Czech Republic. Information and orientation systems are incorrect in both countries but the errors come from different reasons. Concept of the arbitration agreement from a comparative perspective The theme of this doctoral thesis is a detailed analysis of the concept of the arbitration agreement under international conventions, specifically the Convention on the Recognition and Enforcement of Foreign Arbitral Awards (the "New York Convention"), the European Convention on International Commercial Arbitration (the "European Convention"), under the UNCITRAL Model Law on International Commercial Arbitration (the "Model Law") and under Czech and German Law. The thesis covers all aspects of the arbitration agreement, analysing it from the perspective of material norms. The regulation of any conflict of rules is mentioned only if it is appropriate for an analysis of the substantive norms of the elements of an arbitration agreement. The individual chapters of this thesis address the concept and elementary characteristics of the arbitration agreement and the formal and material requirements, effects, extent and ending of the arbitration agreement. Special attention is paid to arbitration agreements concluded regarding disputes arising from and in connection with agreements entered into between consumers and entrepreneurs (sellers or suppliers), because the Czech regulation of such arbitration agreements was regarded as insufficient...

Zdanění příjmů z kapitálového majetku v podmínkách volného pohybu kapitálu

Tématem diplomové práci je mezinárodní zdanění příjmů z kapitálového majetku. Jejím cílem je potvrdit či vyvrátit hypotézu, že ?český systém zdanění příjmů z kapitálového majetku neklade překážky volnému pohybu kapitálu?. Hlavní část práce spočívala v analýze relevantních českých a mezinárodních právních norem upravujících oblast zdanění dividend a úroků. Následně byl metodu komparace porovnán režim zdanění příjmu z kapitálového majetku ze zdrojů na území České republiky s režimem, ve kterém se zdaňují tytéž příjmy plynoucí ze zdrojů v zahraničí. V závěru práce analyzuje, zda český systém zdanění příjmů z kapitálového majetku neklade překážky volném pohybu kapitálu. Autor dospěl k závěru, že český daňový systém je v oblasti zdaňování dividend a úrokových příjmů plně harmonizován s evropskými právními normami a neklade žádné překážky volnému pohybu kapitálu.

Intellectual property protection by Customs

The aim of this thesis is to detect the causes, extent and means of breaching the intellectual property rights, including its negative consequences from the point of supervisory activities of the Customs Administration of the Czech Republic. Also to suggest possible measures to enhance the service and to eliminate any imperfections in the legislative, its abidance or in organization and work management if found. The thesis is divided into two parts theoretical and practical. The theoretical part contains, according to the author, the most important international treaties, conventions and agreements, as well as the European Union law and the national legislation. In the practical part the author states his opinion on the legislation concerning the protection of intellectual property rights, brief classification of the intellectual property rights and it introduces the controlling authority including the Customs Administration of the Czech Republic and its procedures towards the goods that breaches the intellectual property. Furthermore, it presents the statistic data concerning the seized goods. The thesis states the penalties for breaching the intellectual property rights, for both the administrative delicts and criminal offences. It also contains a questionnaire carried out within the Customs Administration of the Czech Republic which purpose was to find out their opinion on the legislation, organization and work management in the field of intellectual property. The results are analysed in the conclusion of the thesis and it presents the imperfections in the areas stated above. The author suggests suitable adjustments to eliminate these imperfections according to his best judgement even though he is not a lawyer. Finally the author reviews the issues mentioned throughout the whole thesis and summarizes the aim of the thesis.

Občanská participace a role správního managementu města

Práce shrnuje problematiku řízení institucí ve veřejné správě, zaměřuje se na spoluúčast občanů na řízení města a rozhodování o jeho rozvojových aktivitách. Pozornost je věnována specifické agendě manažera veřejné správy a manažerským metodám a konceptům řízení používaným ve veřejné správě. Jsou shrnuta základní fakta o procesu komunikace a spolupráce zástupců radnice s občanským sektorem, včetně pojednání o jejich pozitivních a negativních stránkách.V práci je věnována pozornost i historickému vývoji veřejné správy na našem území se zaměřením na řízení měst a problematice typologického členění měst. Na základě znalosti souvislostí na národní úrovni se práce věnuje veřejné správě a jejím trendům i z evropského úhlu pohledu. Práce vyúsťuje v praktickou část, kde se autorka pokouší charakterizovat situaci v městské části Praha 19.

Použitelnost technických indikátorů na českém akciovém trhu

Diplomová práce se zabývá použitelností technických indikátorů jako jedné z metod technické analýzy na českém akciovém trhu. Postupně rozebírá vybraných sedm technických indikátorů, které jsou aplikovány na vybraných sedm akciových kurzů. Cílem bylo, vedle přiblížení a charakteristiky českého akciového trhu a konkrétních jednotlivých metod technické analýzy, zejména zjištění a závěrečné konstatování, zda se aplikované indikátory výnosově osvědčily při načasování nákupů a prodejů jednotlivých akciových titulů. K tomuto účelu byly zkonstruovány tři typy výnosových měr a také celý systém hodnocení sledující navazující charakteristiky jednotlivých aplikací. Český akciový trh zde byl reprezentován Burzou cenných papírů Praha a.s. a jejím nejlikvidnějším a nejobjemnějším segmentem SPAD.
