Fulfilling the criteria for saturation of the patient's needs
ŠTOKROVÁ, Veronika
The thesis deals with the realization of the criteria for saturation of the patient's needs. In the current system of nursing care, the principles of modern nursing are failing to realize and therefore we want to find out the main obstacles of this situation and the possibilities of their removal. For the purpose of the thesis there were set three objectives. The first of them has set the objective of finding out the most common problems in meeting the criteria for saturation of the patient's needs. The research showed that the nurses see the problem in a lack of staff at the wards, a lack of time, excess of documentation, excessive demands for nurses. The purpose of the second objective was to find out what supports the realization of the criteria for saturation of the patient's needs. Results have shown that what helps nurses is a positive work environment, motivation, nurse´s personality, own scale of values, salary, good leadership, organization, nursing care. The third objective was to find out the opinion of nurses on meeting the criteria for saturation of the patient's needs. It turned out that the majority of respondents think that nurses do not effectively satisfy all the needs of patients for a number of reasons: there are few nurses and they are overloaded, the nurses do their best but still cannot satisfy all the patients´ needs. We also found out that the higher patients´ needs are omitted. Less than a third of the nurses indicated that nurses effectively meet all the patients´ needs. For the qualitative part of the research, we set two research questions in advance. Which criteria nurses use in patients´ needs saturation? The research showed that time, which is very valuable for nurses and very often is in short supply, is an important criteria for the saturation of the patient's needs. Furthermore, it is knowledge and manual dexterity when nurses additionally reported a lack of education of some nurses especially within the nursing process. As the next criteria, it was mentioned the cooperation with the patient as it is necessary to engage patient himself in care planning. The next criteria is monitoring of the patient´s response, which is included in every phase of the nursing process. Furthermore, the nurses agreed on criteria, which include communication as a key skill of every nurse, then individual care, a suitable environment and utilities, education, critical thinking, effective nursing process and empathy. The second research question tried to find out which obstacles prevent nurses in effective saturation of the patients´ needs. We found out that nurses are concerned about a lack of staff at wards and the excess of administrative load, which is related to a lack of time for patients. These three factors are also obstacles for nurses and prevent them from effective satisfying of the patients´ needs. The next obstacles in satisfying the needs are burnout, reluctance of nurses to work, excessive demands for nurses, poor workplace relationships, a lack of evaluation both in a form of praise and appreciation, and finance. We also found a lack of information, which is related to a lack of time, as nurses do not have a chance to collect all the information concerning the patient. As another possible obstacle, nurses also mentioned personal problems. The results of the thesis can be used as a small contribution to currently ongoing effort of the Czech Association of Nurses.

Lych, Oleg ; Matuštík, Ondřej (advisor) ; Oškrdal, Václav (referee)
The thesis deals with the most recent and discussed issue of the safe provision of direct banking services. Although surveys indicate that users of banking online services do not show much concern about the safety of the internet banking, the reality is quite different. Banking houses put a lot of emphasis on the information embargo and their clients will never learn about the majority of attacks. Due to higher demands for the safety of direct banking applications compared to conventional applications, made available over the Internet are subject to increasing security demands, and there are a number of recommendations and standards that should be followed for the Internet banking to be considered truly safe. However, even if there is a full compliance with all ISO standards and the situation in security remains critical. Therefore, there is a need for broader use of security methods. This thesis carries out a very comprehensive analysis of all existing security methods and recommends new security methods. For better clarity, the new method embedded in the context of existing and they are viewed from different angles as the effectiveness of authentication methods to the threats, the appropriateness of methods according to the segment, application methods in various channels, customer relationship and hardware components of the method, comfort, etc. Finally, I use the Gartner's chart to better illustrate the advantages of the proposed methods.

Šípová, Pavlína ; Stehlíková, Eva (advisor) ; Bažant, Jan (referee) ; Just, Vladimír (referee)
to an extent uncharted territory in the field oftheatrical history. It is only in the past few decades that works attempting (albeit partially) to map the situation in the Greek environment have started to appear. Though yet more new dramatic texts are being discovered, the processing of these texts is complicated due to the specific and demanding requirements the researcher has to meet when presented with them. The essential requirement for analysing these materials is philological competence and knowledge oftheatrical history. It has traditionally been the case that philologists in the main have approached the texts from the point ofview oftheir discipline only, while theatrologists have rarely had a command of ancient Greek or Latin, or other languages of the multiethnic Byzantine Empire. An equally essential requirement is the knowledge of and respect for the different cultural and religious tradition of the East whose dissimilarity may easily distort conclusions reached by a researcher weaned on Western thought and standards. This dissertation sets out to translate and thematically sort Choricius' Apologia Mimorum, a major literary testament to the lateantique ancient mime, written in the Christian milieu ofthe Rhetorical School of Gaza in the spirit of the antique literary tradition. I attempted to...

The second goal is to compare the differences of the workload for novice and long - term working nurses in perioperative care. Hypothesis: Depending on the set objectives have been identified four hypotheses. H1: the incidence of psychological burden for nurses in perioperative care predominates over the occurrence of physical exertion. H2: for nurses working less than three years in perioperative care is the presence of psychic load higher than for senior sisters. H3: for nurses working for more than three years in perioperative care is the presence of physical load higher than the sisters with less length of practice. H4: the workload of nurses in perioperative care does not differ from the standard, based on the Meister´s method of assessing workload. Multidisciplinary Cooperation and the Role of a Nurse in Patient Care Affected by Blast Syndrome
KOPULETÁ, Martina
Blast injury is a very serious lesion caused by the shock wave resulting from an explosion. Further secondary injuries can arise from burying under debris, pieces of shards from the explosive cover, at burning, poisonous gases created by chemical reactions during detonation. The injuries often happen to be fatal and the percentage of people who survive it depends on the fact how far from the epicentre they were situated. If the individual is very close, there is almost no chance to survive, if, however, the individual is situated further from the epicentre, a few tens of meters, the chance is higher. It is so called mass disaster, which includes more injured people at an explosion. Therefore it is necessary for nurses and the hospital staff to know what the procedures are at this incident and how to take medical and nursing care of higher number of such patients suffering from blast injury. The care itself is extremely demanding, since the injured are often in critical condition. The aim of this diploma thesis, the topic of which is multidisciplinary cooperation and the role of a nurse when taking care of the patients suffering from blast injury, was to find out the information based on the latest Czech and foreign literature and create a compact overview of the knowledge of this issue, for it is necessary to have this knowledge to carry out nursing care of such patients. The second aim of this diploma thesis was to map the role of a nurse in details when taking care of a patient suffering from blast injury. This aim was stated for the reason of the demanding character and complexity of nursing care at urgent reception and anaesthesiology and resuscitation unit because the nurses at these units are placed demands on high qualification and requirements. This diploma thesis was purely elaborated as theoretical thesis based on Czech and foreign sources. The given pieces of information were obtained from a great deal of professional and scientific publications, monographs, professional journals and internet sources for each chapter. The first part of the thesis was dedicated to the description of the given issue, pre-hospital care and classifying algorithms that are used at mass health losses in such way so that the injured people have a higher chance to survive. The crisis management at hospitals, the reception of the injured, the care at the urgent unit and finally the follow-up care at the anaesthesiology and resuscitation unit are worked out in the following part. Thereafter the theoretical part focuses on nursing care at the critical care department where the nursing care of a patient suffering from blast injury is described as well as the duties of a nurse. The needed competences of a nurse working at the urgent unit, anaesthesiology and resuscitation unit are also defined in this chapter. According to the valid Czech legislation, only specially trained nurses for intensive care should take care of the patients with blast injury because the extent of their competence for intensive care is many times higher than general nurses have. The last chapter deals with team and multidisciplinary cooperation among the doctors and hospital staff as well as the cooperation concerning the pre-hospital care of the emergency services at emergency incident, for their active and quality communication are the keys for good and well done work with the least consequences.
