Inter-institutional cooperation and disputes within the European Union

The aim of the thesis is to assess, which institutions are mostly concerned in inter-institutional disputes, what kinds of actions between these institutions CJEU primarily dealt with, or whether or not were these actions found to be warranted or not. The first part of the thesis is focused on the status of inter-institutional cooperation in primary and secondary EU law and European Union institutions that play a role in inter-institutional cooperation. The second part deals with the consequences of a breach of the principle of cooperation by performing the analysis of selected legal disputes between the institutions and bodies of the European Union.

ATI and The Promotion of Czech Theater Abroad

This bachelor thesis examines the presentation of Czech theatre abroad mediated by the Arts and Theatre Institute (ATI), the state-funded organization of Ministry of Culture. It aims to map the possibilities which are by the ATI. The first part of the thesis contains the abstracts of the state strategic document which supports the presentation of the Czech culture and theatre in the foreign land. The second part the thesis summarizes the activity of the ATI and the International Cooperation and PR Department whose aim is the presentation of the Czech theatre outside the country. The third part of the thesis is the information based on the practical experience of the ATI and Czech Centers employees as the organizers of the presentation, and the Drak Theatre and the Naïve Theater Liberec employees as the representatives of the puppet theatre regarded by the ATI as the “export leaders”.

The Open Model of a School, Opportunities for Cooperation

The final drala with open (participational) model of educational systém of a schoul in the spere of educational activities, possibilities for tested and non - traditional cooperation of schools and educational institutions with educational and other subjects. The work is based on pieces of information, found in speciál professional literature, and negotiations of international organizations. They mainly focus on the education ofchildren and thein free - time activities. Furthormore, i tis based on a research which was done in 105 schools and educational institutions. The schoul will still Romain an irreplaceable social institution in the up-coming 15-20 years, according to the researches and surveys of the future look of a schoul. The task for the schoul managers will be to search for suitable partners that orfee free-time activities to children. Based on professional literature and results of a research, this work show some possibilities for cooperation of schools and educational instituons with various partners. Itsummarizes the experience of participants that were addressed in the research.

Car insurance from the perspective of broker

This bachelor's thesis demonstrates work of insurance broker as a professional consultant in the issue of insurance for corporate sector. The aim of the thesis is to analyze current state on the Czech car insurance market in situation when insurance companies and insurance brokers have got more obligations than before. In the first part of the text I define theoretical basis of car insurance and describe two of its main products. The next part is dedicated to insurance brokers and likely legislative changes which regulate their activities. The last part consists of detailed analysis of fleet insurance offered by seven largest insurance companies operating on the Czech market. In conclusion, I summarize analyzed findings by description of a trend in development of the car insurance. In my bachelor thesis I fully utilized acquired knowledge from cooperation with Pojišťovací makléřství BOHEMIA, a.s.

Political Economy of European Security: A Role of Industrialists in forming the ESDP

The thesis aims to determine the scope and extent of the European defence industrial sector influence on the process of European defence formation, or more precisely in the field of defence and security cooperation (ESDP/CSDP). The question of the European defence sector's role in shaping the defence and security cooperation in Europe has not been properly explored, thereby it provides an ideal topic of choice for my thesis, The thesis is divided into three main parts: the introduction, the analysis consisting of five sections and finally the conclusion. The thesis analyzes an industrial sector itself, while exploring the process of creation of internal market within the framework of the Roundtable of European Industrialist initiative. It then moves on to discuss the European military industrial complex and it argues for the need to introduce a new term "European Defence Industrialists" in order to improve our understanding of defence cooperation in the EU. As for the thesis theoretical approach, a classical IR theoretical approach in general and classical theoretical take on European integration have proved insufficient. Czech-Canadian business cooperation with regards to cultural differences

The aim of the thesis is the analysis of business relations between the Czech Republic and Canada in terms of trade and cultural differences. The thesis is divided into four chapters. The first chapter presents Canada in terms of geography, demographic and describes the history of Canada. The second chapter focuses on the economic characteristics of the country, particularly macroeconomic indicators and international trade. The third chapter is devoted to Czech-Canadian business relations, the commodity structure of trade and industry perspective for Czech exports. The fourth chapter focuses on cultural diversity, knowledge of which is essential for business cooperation.

The absences in the sphere of care about people after spinal chord injury in the Czech Republic

While writing the thesis, I presume that tha vast majority of people with spinal chord injury (SCI) like paraplegics and quadruplegics are capable according to their intelligence cooperate, and after good treatment and care they can live "normal" social life and earn themselves living. For that they need a big help from their environment, "general public", professionals and state. Therefore I ask following questions: "What do the respondents think of offered services to all people with spinal chord injury?", "Is there in the Czech Republic sufficient comprehensive rehabilitation about people with spinal chord injury?" The aim of this thesis is to describe complications and results of spinal chord injuries (paraplegia, quadruplegia) and with that connected the cure, especially rehabilitative cure. The main aim is to find out the absences in the sphere of care about people on wheelchair in the Czech Republic. I focused on what wheelchair people see as the biggest problem in their lives, how they feel the changes in legislative, medical care, complex rehabilitation, possibilities of job placement and education in the Czech Republic over the past few years. Czech-hungarian business cooperation with regards to cultural differences

The aim of this bachelor thesis is to describe Hungary not only from the economical and business point of view, but also from the point of view of cultural differences typical for this country. Knowledge of those cultural specifics might have a substantial significance for business relations. The work is divided into five chapters. First chapter provides a general description of Hungary and takes historical and political factors that might have influence on business into account. Second chapter presents economy of Hungary, macroeconomic and economic development and international trade. Third chapter follows with a description of the Czech-hungarian business relations. Cultural differences, business protocol and etiquette are the topics of the fourth chapter. Part of this chapter is also an analysis of cultural dimensions of Hungary by G. Hofstede, followed by a description of the Czech center in Budapest and an interview with a former director of this center. Finally, the last chapter is a practical part which assesses a survey. The conclusion provides a summary of the most important findings from the thesis and considers if Hungary might be a promising business partner for the Czech Republic.
