Diplomová práce Co muže udělat mateřská škola pro plynulý přechod dětí z mateřské školy do 1. ročníku základní školy se zabývá problematikou přechodu dětí z mateřské do základní školy. Cílem práce je zjistit, jaký je pohled současných rodičů a pedagogů mateřských a základních škol na některé odborné termíny související s touto problematikou (školní zralost, školní připravenost, klíčové kompetence) a jestli a jaká existuje spolupráce mezi těmito institucemi. The intention of this work is find out the opinion of parents and teachers in regard to some specific terms (school maturity, school readiness, key competencies).
