Life perspectives of clients from the Institutional Treatment Institut.

This diploma thesis deals with life perspective problems of clients in Institutional Treatment Institut that are captured in their several personal narratives and subsequently processed by the method of narrative analysis. The diploma thesis is focused on the partial, lively, personal, unique and subjective experience of the clients in the Institutional Treatment Institut, aiming to understand their lives within contextual connections and to reflect their future life perspectives. The thesis has a theoretical-application character. The attention of the theoretical part is paid to problems of behavioral and emotional disorders, their classifications, causes and other contexts, as well as the topic of prevention and therapy of behavioral and emotional disorders, with the greatest attention being paid to institutional education. The author is also interested in the period of adolescence. The empirical part focuses on mapping the links between the experience of staying in the Institutional Treatment Institut and the current view of the own particular life perspectives of the survey participants, wheras among other things, the protagonist's changes in attitudes about education as a life value over time are accentuated. Reeducation Programs in Institutional Care

Abstract The bachelor thesis focuses on re-education of girls, that are placed in the correctional institution in Jindřichův Hradec. As a part of the special education and upbringing there are the re-education programs, which serve for planning, realization and evalutaion of the re-education. In the first part, the problems of institutional education, behavioral disorders and re-education are theoretically described. One chapter deals with reeducation programs. In the practical part, there are described the existing reeducation programs, which take place in the institute in Jindřichův Hradec. Consequently the re-education programs were evaluated based on the analysis of personal case reports of selected girls and semi-structured interviews with them. The existing re-education programs were reviewed in order to fulfill the appropriate adaptation of the institutionalised girls. In conclusion of the bachelor thesis, the results of the research are presented as an evidence that the re-education programs and their methods applied in the correctional institution in Jindřichův Hradec are suitably adapted to the needs of the institutionalised girls. I regularly participate in the creation, implementation and evaluation of re-education programs as an educator, so the results of the research survey are satisfying. They also provide me with the feedback that I often lack in this profession.
Education of Children from Foster Care

The thesis "Education of Children from Foster Care" summarizes with possibilities of educating children from the foster care. The theoretical part addresses in the first chapter about alternative educational care, I mention that it includes (foster care, foster care and school, diagnostic institute and educational institute). Other part of the theoretical part consists of legislation and education of children from foster care, this chapter contains all the possible factors that can influence education (biological family, personality of educator, motivation for school work, the values of children). The last part deals with programs that support children from foster in the education and they preparing for a future career. This work is based on interviews with twenty respondents, which forms the practical part of the thesis. The research method was a structured interview, the results are processed in a qualitative manner. Investigated group consists of ten women and ten men. The purpose of this thesis is to analyze the educational process of children who living in a foster care and a measure of its success. The risk behavior of girls placed in an educational institution.

This bachelor thesis deals with risk behavior of teenagers in female reform school. Its objective is to uncover what risk behavior led to their placement into "Počátky" foster home and reformatory school and how do they perceive potential future after having left the reform school. Theoretical section explains basic notions such as adolescence, risk behavior and reformatory institutions. Empirical section is aimed at qualitative research. Research sample consists of four teenagers housed at reform school, their teacher and a group educator. The teenager's individual case reports are an integral part of this paper. Research questions are formulated as following: What risk behavior led to teenager's placement into reform school? How do those teenagers evaluate their stay at reform school? How do they perceive their future after leaving "Počátky" reform school? Basis for this thesis consists of academic literature, legal norms, aforementioned case reports and records of conversation with both the teenagers and employees of "Počátky" foster home and reformatory school.
Prevention of risky behaviour in educational institute in Jindřichův Hradec.

The purpose of the bachelor's thesis is an overview of the implementation of prevention of risk behavior in the education institution in Jindřichův Hradec and description of other prevention-relatedactivities. The work will be divided into a theoretical and a practical parts. The theoretical part will consist in enumeration and basic characterisation of individual forms of risk behavior, basic information on prevention and description of the institution in Jindřichův Hradec. The practical part will consist in secondary analysis of the institution data, analysis of pedagogical and psychological aspects of the prevention program, description of the areas and forms of cooperation with the probation and mediation service and an analysis of the prevention-related activities. The work will be supplemented with a research survey, in which the analyzed program will be evaluated by the institution clients. Further measures for modification of the prevention program will be proposed based on the above analyses.
Integration kids with behavioral disturbances from constitutional environs to the wider society

The Bachelor thesis deals with the inclusion of children with behavioral disorders from the environment of institutional care into the wider society. The purpose of the thesis was especially to find out how these children are able to reintegrate into society. The thesis is divided into seven chapters. The first chpater explains basic terms such as family and child. The second chapter describes education in the family. The third chapter describes specific children's behavioral disorders. The fourth chapter outlines the structure of school facilities for protective and institutional care. The fifth chapter deals with the environment of facilities for institutional care. The sixth chapter discusses the personality development of a child in institutional care. The seventh chapter deals with the reintegration of children from institutional care into society.
The Specialised Institution for Youth Endangered Addiction and Addicted

The present thesis deals with specialized institutions focused on the instructional-educational process of juveniles in institutional education or preliminary injunction or protective upbringing. Within this rather large field of action, the thesis concentrates specifically on boys who have been found addicted to narcotic drugs and psychotropic substances or alcohol. The boys' selection is further limited by their location in the Diagnostic Institute for Youth and subsequent transfer to specialized wards of three educational institutions dealing with this issue. The research part of the bachelor thesis deals with questions that involve primarily the issues of family background of addicted children - teenage boys. This section describes the most commonly represented family constellations, the number of siblings in families, study characteristics, the addiction start with regard to age, narcotics preferences etc. For the purposes of this research, we have chosen a sample of 47 clients who were, in the years 2009 to 2010, placed in the Diagnostic Institute for Youth in Prague 2 and subsequently transferred to specialized departments in educational institutions.
