Simulation of ultrasound sequences in contrast mode
Staňková, Jana ; Mézl, Martin (referee) ; Harabiš, Vratislav (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with the principle of contrast imaging techniques for ultrasound imaging. In the first part there are described basic principles and characteristics of ultrasound waves for the understanding. It is also focused on ultrasound contrast agents used in contrast enhanced ultrasound imaging. The important part is the description of perfusion models with a focus on obtaining perfusion parametres and analyzing perfusion curves obtained by measuring the ultrasound contrast agent over time. The second part is devoted to designing a program for generating simulated ultrasound images and description of the simulation of 2D ultrasound tomograms.
Evolution algorithms for ultrasound perfusion analysis
Kolářová, Jana ; Odstrčilík, Jan (referee) ; Mézl, Martin (advisor)
This master´s thesis is focused on the application of evolutionary algorithms for interleaving data obtained by ultrasound scanning of tissue. The interleaved curve serves to estimate perfusion parameters, thus allowing to detect possible pathophysiology in the scanned area. The theoretical introduction is devoted to perfusion and its parameters, contrast agents for ultrasonic application, ultrasonic modality scanning, optimization, evolutionary algorithms in general and two selected evolutionary algorithms - genetic algorithm and bee algorithm. These algorithms were tested on noisy data obtained from clinical images of mice with tumor. The final part summarizes the results of the practical part and provides suggestions and recommendations for further possible development.
Fast Reconstruction of Photoacoustic Images
Kukliš, Filip ; Dvořák, Václav (referee) ; Jaroš, Jiří (advisor)
The ability of reconstruction of photoacoustic images is important requirement to study soft tissues or vascular and lymphatic systems in high resulution but in small space. Today solution needs extensive computing power and it is noticeably time-consuming. In this study we would like to introduce a new solution which would be a way much faster and easy to use. My solution is up to 20x faster and needs forty percent less memory. This solution may be a better alternative for scietnist who study soft tissues by photoacoustic imaging.
Design of Portable Ultrasound Device
Sedláková, Jana ; Buganská, Tamara (referee) ; Křenek, Ladislav (advisor)
The goal of bachelor thesis is proposing design of portable ultrasound device, which could be a complement of existing range of this type with respecting all technical and aesthetic requirements. This device should be convenient mainly for doctor’s necessities and for giving brief information about foetus of pregnant women
Unconventional machining processes
Exnerová, Jitka ; Mouralová, Kateřina (referee) ; Kalivoda, Milan (advisor)
This thesis deals with the methods of the unconventional machining. The first part outlines the history of the machining methods, their characteristic and use follows. The second part aims at the method of the water jet, its technology, safety use, its advantages and disadvantages. Subsequently the thesis presents selected companies dealing with water jet cutting technology. At the end the thesis presents the environmental impact of the water jet cutting.
Virtual instrument for experimental ultrasonic measurement
Dufek, Ladislav ; Harabiš, Vratislav (referee) ; Kolář, Radim (advisor)
This bachelor’s thesis is about usage the virtual instrument created in LabVIEW environment for measurement of ultrasonic transducers and for resulting signal scanning. It briefly describes the basics of ultra acoustic and the principles of piezoelectric transducers. Then problematic of generation and scanning signals using cards National Instruments NI-PCI 5401 and NI-PCI 5102 are explained. Subsequently an instrument is designed. This instrument is used for experimental measurement at 4 pcs engineering samples of ultrasound transducers, is painted the frequency response characteristic and determines frequency of resonance.
Cheap device for non-invasive detection of blood flow
Mívalt, Filip ; Majzner, Jiří (referee) ; Sedlák, Petr (advisor)
Blood flow measurement by Doppler effect is widely used technique for the assessment of blood vessels condition. Stenosis, aneurysm and blood insufficiency might be revealed by this method. In recent years, measurement devices based on Doppler effect haves been introduced also in veterinary medicine. For example, peripheral blood pressure of a cat might be observed at tail or paw. This thesis deals with the design of blood flow Doppler detector prototype and its implementation to fully operational instrument. Proposed device is uses a low-cost doppler probe. Blood flow detection is based on the analysis of Doppler probe output signal discrete power spectrum. The frequency spectrum is determined from digitized preprocessed analog signal. This thesis should illustrate the possibility of usage of Arduino platform and cheap ultrasound vascular probe as alternative for expensive Doppler devices.
Autonomous Landing System for Quadrocopter
Vomočil, Jan ; Kopečný, Lukáš (referee) ; Žalud, Luděk (advisor)
This thesis describes the design and implementation of systems for automatic landing and stabilization of air vehicle known as Quadrocopter. It focuses on image processing from a camera placed on board of the robot. The aim of image processing is detect landing target and calculate the distance from the desired position. Further is solved vertical stabilization for higher altitudes. For this function is measured atmospheric pressure. Conversely, for low altitude flight is used a ultrasonic range finder. In the conclusion is solved the implementation of the system.
The properties of ultrasonic equipment for directional messages transmission
Klíma, Martin ; Král, Michal (referee) ; Bajer, Arnošt (advisor)
In work are under examination properties of equipment for spatially selective propagation of acoustic signal with usage ultrasonic carrying frequency. Further is shown summary accessible informations about this problems. Part of work includes analysis of possibility low-cost realization of such equipment.
Detector of bubbles in blood
Foltýn, Vojtěch ; Sekora, Jiří (referee) ; Rozman, Jiří (advisor)
ABSTRAKT This thesis is the theoretical part deals with various ways of cleansing the blood, with a focus on hem dialysis. Describes the technical solution and monitor the dialysis flow diagram of blood and dialysate. The paper describes various solutions to detect bubbles in the blood and their advantages and disadvantages. Based on the best method of detection are designed detector bubbles. Working in the practical part contains a proposal detector set for venous diameter of 20 mm. Equipment to detect bubbles allows for connection to a blood pump discontinue its activities. Output works are drawing diagrams, printed circuit board design and implementation of graphs circuits.
