Czerwek, Martin ; Láník, Jaromír (referee) ; Žítt, Petr (advisor)
Design and manufacture of reinforced concrete beams for laboratory testing. Implementation of selected tests of mechanical properties for selected elements. Experimental analysis of reinforced concrete beams in the laboratory. Creating a numerical model in the software ATENA 2D. Graphic processing of numerical and experimental analysis and comparison.
Bridge type of track shifter
Holomek, David ; Franek, Lešek (referee) ; Štohl, Radek (advisor)
This Bachelor thesis contains a description of a bridge type track shifter model, with the introduction including an analysis of the whole work. The first task describes the look and layout of individual parts of the track shifter model. There is also a description of the AS-Interface database, as well as a section with representations of the sensors and actuators of the track shifter. The fifth part describes the PLC software configuration, and is followed by a section dealing with the errors found in the AS- Interface database. After a description of the track shifter’s control program, the seventh section underlines the visualization aspect of the track shifter model. The final section includes samples of laboratory tasks.
Construction of synthetic skin type sensors
Ropog, József ; Vdoleček, František (referee) ; Zuth, Daniel (advisor)
This master’s thesis deals with the diagnosis of thermal environment using synthetic skin type sensors. The synthetic skin type sensor is a compact sensor ideal for simulating human skin. The aim is to design and implement such a sensor and test its properties. On the market there are no compact sensors with that kind of abilities and our goal is to design the cheapest, but still viable sensor. Measurement and data processing is implemented using measurement cards and LabVIEW software. The work also contains a design of signal conditioning without the use of measurement cards.
Cooling system for Industry 4 demonstrator
Cviček, Pavel ; Benešl, Tomáš (referee) ; Kaczmarczyk, Václav (advisor)
The aim of the bachelor thesis is to design and implement a cooling system that will be able to distribute a cooled medium. The individual parts will deal with the description and design of equipment, as well as the selection of components, including electrical ones. It will also include a description of the implementation of the equipment and the control program that will ensure the proper operation of the system. One of the goals is to create a virtual model that will serve for accurate design and also as a check whether all predetermined and required parameters for construction have been complied with. Finally, the work of the system as a whole will be evaluated.
Statistical processing of data of solar radiation in place BUT FME Brno
Nečasová, Klára ; Jaroš, Michal (referee) ; Štětina, Josef (advisor)
This bachelor’s thesis deals with the measurement of solar radiation. The aim of this work is to determine the usefulness of solar energy and solar radiation compared to the oblique and horizontal surface. You are given basic information about solar radiation, the Solar, collectors and sensors. Further work includes measurements and calculations of solar radiation in the course of one year and at the end of the evaluation of measurement results.
Processing of Biosignals Using PC
Románek, Jakub ; Šebesta, Vladimír (referee) ; Sigmund, Milan (advisor)
The Bachelor thesis deals biosignal processing on the computer. In this work are given basic types of biological signals of their way to capture and access to a computer. There are selected examples of available sensors and their subsequent storage record. The project analyzes the software environment, Mathcad and followed to process external signals. Finally, there is a method of measuring the heart pulse and its changes with periods in the histogram.
The analysis of dynamic effects acting on the turnout with a focus on structural condition
Hajniš, Jan ; Vukušič, Ivan (referee) ; Smutný, Jaroslav (advisor)
Author´s name: Bc. Jan Hajniš School: Technical University - VUT, Brno Faculty of Civil Engineering Veveří 331/95, 602 00 Brno Program: Construction and Transportation Engineering Title: The Analysis of dynamic effects acting on the turnout with a focus on structural condition Consultant: Prof. Ing. Jaroslav Smutný, Ph.D. Number of pages: about 100 + attachments Number of attachments: about 340 Year: 2014 This work describes the size and the process of dynamic effect – vibrations and shift – cockles in crossing panel and switch panels of the turnout constructions on steel and concrete sleepers in time and frequency domain. It compares the results of the measurement between these turnout constructions. Dynamic effects are undesirable physical phenomena for operation each train. It is therefore necessary to eliminate these phenomena as much as possible. The result of this test will by means of software programm and measuring set help to determine precisely the advantages and disadvantages of using both turnout constructions, or even to propose their improvements or dimensions.
Design of a measuring equipment for distance sensors calibration
Zindler, Lukáš ; Sámelová, Vendula (referee) ; Štěpánek, Vojtěch (advisor)
This study aimed deals with the design of a calibration equipment for an inductive distance sensor. The theoretical part provides a basic overview of metrology and the state of knowledge in the field of sensors. In the practical part, several concepts of measuring equipment are suggested, a suitable calibration equipment is selected and assembled, and at last the compensation of the systematic error of the sensor is performed.
Measurement of process variable – temperature
Dvořák, Matěj ; Hájková, Alena (referee) ; Konečný, Antonín (advisor)
This thesis summarizes the current knowledge about temperature sensors used for measurement, of which there is a wide variety. Therefore, it should serve as a guide to the world of temperature measurement, starting from the fundamental principles of measurement, explaining terms and analysing the characteristics of measuring instruments, and providing a detailed overview of their types. Additionally, it allows readers to navigate through the abundance of published documents and standards and provides an overview of wireless communication methods. As this topic is extensive, this publication is intended to be a practical tool for everyday use or a reference point for finding more detailed information in the specific area of interest.
Pellet grill control system
Vařečka, Ondřej ; Friml, Dominik (referee) ; Dokoupil, Jakub (advisor)
This thesis focuses on determination of basic requirements for a pellet grill control system. It also explores expansion possibilities of these requirements with respect to user-friendliness. The thesis also includes a description of the system represented by the grill using differential equations and simulations of temperature responses during heating and cooling. After establishing the requirements for the grill control system, suitable components are selected to achieve an optimal balance between functionality and cost. The next step involves the creation of a functional schematic using the KiCad software. A printed circuit board (PCB) is designed and assembled using the components. Finally, the PCB is powered, and firmware is developed to control peripherals.
