Management of risk analysis in rally racing
Pilná, Petra ; Karel, Pressler (referee) ; Vémola, Aleš (advisor)
This diploma thesis deals with the determination of risk in rally races and suggests methods to reduce them. The theoretical part is devoted to the legal definition of rally races and terms of rallye, risk and in addition there will be described and explained the methods used in the risk analysis. It also includes part devoted to the history of rally racing in the world and in Czech Republic. The analytical part includes time plan of rally race. Risk analysis methods mentioned in the theoretical part, are used in the analytical part. The aim is to propose measures that are actually able to reduce the risk in itself, or its impacts.
Information System Assessment and Proposal for ICT Modification
Studený, Radim ; Šmída, Martin (referee) ; Koch, Miloš (advisor)
The master thesis deals with the information system. It contains an analysis of the current state of the system and there are used methods of risk analysis. Based on these analyzes and methods it is developed design of information system for company, which deals with the processing of biological waste. The thesis includes some practical solutions to problems related to the management of business processes.
Software Support for Risk Analysis
Psota, Michal ; Štěpánková, Vladěna (referee) ; Kreslíková, Jitka (advisor)
This thesis focuses on the theoretical description of risk management options related to information technologies and describes methods used to risk analysis. Described methods are fault tree analysis, event tree analysis, FMEA, HAZOP and Markovov analysis. Practical part includes proposal and implementation of program that visualizes decision trees and determines probability of each tree item.
An alternative method of determining the value of the coefficient k6 for valuation of buildings
Kubečka, Karel ; Kubečková, Darja ; Vlček, Pavel
One of the methods that are currently used to determine the estimated value of the forensic expert in the real estate industry (focusing on the economy, real estate prices and estimates), the comparative method. In this method applies, inter alia, the coefficient K6, which reduces or increases the estimated final price determined by expert opinion. Determination of the coefficient K6 is implemented as an expert professional estimate. This price adjustment has its upper and lower limit and is dependent on external factors. The authors provide an alternative method of determining this coefficient method that can significantly eliminate subjective perception and help determine the value of this coefficient. To determine the method was applied risk analysis and SWOT analysis.
Centering device for truck tire for robot handling
Mlejnek, Pavel ; Winkler, Tomáš (referee) ; Kašpárek, Jaroslav (advisor)
This thesis deals with the design and solving construction of devices for centering cargo tires. Another part of this work is a concept of the clamping head for fixation of tires by industrial robot and its following placement on a palette. Construction solution will be drawn up with access and without access of human operator. All structural variations will be reviewed by risk analysis and analysis of possible incidence and influence of defects.
Flood protection in the community Želešice from streams Bobrava and Hajanský potok
Marek, Vít ; Vrba, Jan (referee) ; Veselý, Jaroslav (advisor)
This thesis is a study of flood protection in the community Želešice, Brno-venkov. The theoretical part deals with: the causes of flooding, their dividing and deals with options, how to protect endangered area. Main part includes calculations of the amount of sediment in the river Bobrava and the Hajanský stream, analysis of risks by quantitative expression, suggests to complete the flood plan of the community and a list of designed flood control measures with own technical suggestion. The last point is to consider, whether is the community threatened by backwater from the river Svratka, which the river Bobrava flows into.
Models for Stress Testing in the Insurance Sector
Komárková, Zlatuše ; Gronychová, Marcela
The project is focused on top-down stress testing of the Czech insurance sector. The aim of the present paper is to describe the advanced method for macro stress testing of insurance companies used by the CNB. We apply the presented stress test to eleven Czech insurance companies. The shocks applied are designed to replicate a macroeconomic scenario and to impact on both the asset and liability sides of the balance sheet. We consider both investment and insurance risks relating to the Czech insurance sector. An application of the simulated scenario to the Czech insurance sector illustrates that the sector is sufficiently resilient and stable.

Fuzzy and interval-probabilistic methods of risk assessment of the investment project implemented by public private partnership
Ostrouško, Viktorie ; Synek, Miloslav (advisor) ; Ivánek, Jiří (referee) ; Scholleová, Hana (referee)
The result of my dissertation justifies the use of fuzzy-sets theory to make a prediction of cost risk of a PPP project, when there is not enough information available to clearly describe the project, and, when the probability distributions of the variables that characterize the project are unknown. I showed that fuzzy-sets theory and linguistic variables may be effectively used in such a case. In this thesis were classified different types of uncertainty and investigated traditional methods for estimating efficiency of a investment project in conditions of uncertainty. On the basis of the analysis were offered new ways of conducting risk analysis for PPP projects with use of fuzzy sets theory. The main goal was to create an application model for risk assessment of the PPP project which, with a high degree of reliability, suggests a general assessment of situation. The goal set in my work was met. Model of risk assessment of the project proposed by me gives more stable results in comparison with the probabilistic model. For comparison were used different types of probability distribution functions and membership functions. The following conclusions and statements describe the novelty of the work on fuzzy logic and economic theory: develops a method of cash-flow (future expenditure connected with the appearance of risk) modeling of investment project in fuzzy environment, demonstrates the use of fuzzy sets theory in projects analyses and describes how to calculate and interpret this value, demonstrates example of the use of results applied to the analysis of infrastructure development project in Moscow, Russia. The possibility of using this method is not only in the analysis of infrastructure development projects, but also in realization of non-commercial projects by social institutes and government agencies.
Analysis of IT risks and creation of correctional actions in company Metalik Ltd.
Zrcek, Milan ; Doucek, Petr (advisor) ; Palla, Přemysl (referee)
The aim of this thesis is to analyse the risks of information technologies in the company Metalik Ltd. which balances on the boundary of small and medium enterprises. One part of this analysis is a preparation of the scale for estimation of the impacts, threats and vulnerabilities. Finally is drafted a register of actions which responds to IT risks which were identified in the frame of the thesis. The register is in compliance with the business plan of the company and its recent market position. The contribution of this thesis is in showing how the firm, which can represent the typical small or medium enterprises, works with IT risks. The principles of some correctional actions can be also generally related to this group of enterprises. The benefit specifically for the firm Metalik Ltd. is documentation for future work with the risks connected with the information technologies.
Business plan - Golf club Vracov
Jandásková, Dita ; Krause, Josef (advisor) ; Svačinová, Jitka (referee)
The thesis is divided into two different parts. In the theoretical one we can find a structured description of the business plan with a detailed description of its different parts, including risk analysis. An integral part of the theoretical part is selection of the appropriate legal form of business. Next section also contains general information about golf, its history, the development of golf in the Czech Republic and related project: "Play golf, change your life!". The practical part is based on a theoretical basis. Individual sections of the business plan are developed for a fictitious company based on real documents. The plan is made for potential investors, sponsors and for organizations of public administration which are providing subsidies. We find in it how to proceed with the establishment of civic associations.Forecast costs and benefits of all activities related to the operation of the golf club and a golfcourse. And last but not least, the risk analysis.
