Pastoral care of people with intellectual disability. Example of anthroposophy approach

Pastoral care of people with intellectual disability is a quite new discipline in czech discourse. The aim of this bachelor work is to introduce, how pastoral care of people with intellectual disability looks like and how it function. Resource of the pastoral care is in gospel. It pursues growth of human being in level of bio-psycho-socio-spiritual, and so on. The "Theology of disability" is resource for pastoral care too. "Theology of disability" tries about inclusion of people with intellectual disability and disability in general. Tries about incluison into society and community. That all through Christian's values and love. Techniques of pastoral care are in general to sing a songs, some predicitons, to read biblical texts, prayers and support in growth of human being and to deal with difficult life circumstances. Pastoral care of people with intellectual disability provides the same fundamental human rights, which have people without disabilities too. With emphesizing Christianity and anthroposophy. It provides for them to meet with themselves, and to gain their dreams, wishes, needs and face to their anxiety and fears too. That all through different techniques.
Religious Education of Youth in the Church of Brethrens

This diploma thesis is focused on the topic of religious education of youth in the Church of Brethren. Its main aim is to describe the process of religious education of youth according to the theoretical and practical sources of the Church of Brethren. The results were compared in the last part of the thesis to the educational concepts of other churches studied in the theoretical part. The theoretical part defines the terms related to religious education such as catechesis, pastoral care, evangelization, discipleship, religious pedagogy etc. It also includes the characteristics of the Church of Brethren and youth in the context of postmodern era. The last chapter deals with religious education of youth in church in general with regards to the personality of a youth pastor, educational goals and teaching methods. The practical part is designed as an analysis of three areas: Department of Youth of the Church of Brethren, other Christian organizations working with youth and an interview with the Leading pastor of the Council of the Church of Brethren who has been working with youth for many years. The results of each area are further reflected in the context of the studied literature. However, various outer and inner influences can cause that the meaning of the life starts to disappear, in the worst cases people lose their vision completely. The burnout often affects people who are engaged in other people and their problems. These people are also clergymans, who encounter the other's problems every day. A person is paralysed during contending a burnout in all areas of life: physical, mental, emotional, social and spiritual. He is losing the meaning of life and needs a total restart unconditionally. If a cleric is losing the meaning of life his service in church in a serious danger. One of the crucial things for restoring the internal balance is finding the meaning of life again and subsequent organizing the values in the way that allows to live stably and doesn't lead to a burnout again. The theoretical part of the thesis deals with definition of homosexuality and view on it from aspects of different fields. Next is practical part, which focuses on analysis of questioned respondents, who are trying describe their relationship to God, to Church and especially portray fellings of everyday confrontation with their minority sexual orientation.
Prayer: The Role, Place and Significance of Prayer in the Lives of Members of the Christian Community

The thesis, "Prayer: The Role, Place and Significance of Prayer in the Lives of Members of the Christian Community" deals with the topics outlined in its title. It is examined from the standpoint which understands prayer in its Biblical context, as well as how it has been interpreted by the Evangelical Church of Czech Brethren tradition. The core of the thesis is made up of qualitative research. The goal of the research is to discover how prayer is perceived by believers within a particular Christian community: what place prayer occupies in their lives, what shapes it, what it contributes to them and, at the same time, how they perceive prayer and what kind of meaning corporate prayer has for them. Five deep, semi-structured conversations with research participants helped to achieve the goal of the thesis. The results of the qualitative analyses are presented in several chapters, of which four main chapters contain (1) the benefits of prayer in understanding oneself, and (2) in understanding and perceiving God, (3) prayer as a tool for service, and (4) benefits and deficits connected with prayer. Pastoral care of the elderly persons after the Second Vatican Council

The thesis deals with the possibilites of pastoral care of the elderly and attempts to outline its significance for an elderly persob. It also emphasizes that pastral care may be a way how to help old people to consider their age as decent. Spiritual needs of seniors can also be better met through the pastoral care. By chosen ecclesiastical documents, the thesis also tries to demonstrate how the Church maintain the pastoral care of seniors, however the rality is often different.
Marian Kuffa and His Approach to People in Need

This bachelor thesis deals with Marian Kuffa's approach to people in need. The first part of the thesis deals with Marian Kuffa's life, childhood, influence of his family in forming his personality, his later decision to become a priest and the beginning of his social activities in Zakovce, Slovakia. The second part of the thesis analyzes the most common causes of social exclusion, especially from Marian Kuffa's point of view. Further, the author describes life of people in need in common therapeutic communities and pays special attention to everyday life in the Institute of Christ the King Sovereign Priest in Zakovce, Slovakia and its facilities. The focus is on the specific approach of Marian Kuffa to the resocialization process of the socially excluded people. In the last part, both the common and Kuffa's approaches are analyzed and compared, the pros and cons of both are stated.

Zusammenfassung/Summary Die Bakkalaureusarbeit mit dem Titel "Synode über die Familie - die pastorelle Voranmeldungen für die zeitgenössische Familie" nähert die auf der Bischöfsynode der römisch-katholischen Kirche in Jahren 2014 und 2015 besprochenen Themen an. Sie erklärt die Stellung der katholischen Kirche zu den aktuellen Fragen, die die Familie in der heutigen Gesellschaft betreffen. Die Autorin beschreibt zuerst die Entwicklung der Familie in europäischen Bedingunden und zeigt manche Riffe, mit dieser Entwicklung verbunden. Daran bindet sie die Vorstellung den kirchlichen Dokumente an, die im Zusammenhang mit der außerordentlichen und ordentlichen Synode über die Familiepubliziert wurden. Der abschließende Teil resümiert Reflexionen den Laien und auch den Fachleute aus der tschechischen Umgebung und formuliert manche pastorelle Blicke. Die Ergebnisse der Arbeit zeigen, daß gläubige Familien brauchen, von der Kirche ein echtes Interesse für ihre Situation zu empfinden. Der Blick auf die Familie in der Lehre der römisch-katholischen Kirche weist den Fortschritt insbesondere im Bereich der Pastoration den geschiedenen Personen aus. Die Autorin der Arbeit meint, daß ein entgegenkommender Zutritt zu den Leuten, die die Kirche noch vorhin für exkommuniziert gehalten hat, ist der Weg der Evangelisation.
