Social Work with Sexuality of Adults with Intellectual Disabilities in Sheltered Housing

In my diploma thesis I expressed the importance of sexuality for every human bein . Sexual health is part of general health conditions and is a necessary condition of a quality life. Every human has the guaranteed right to enjoy sexuality freely, on condition that no one is constrained. Sexual rights are guaranteed by Bill of Rights, international agreements and also by documents issued by Czech government. I have theoretically described the goals, basic assumptions and educational topics in the area of sexuality of people with mental disabilities. For practical reasons I have included the illustrative tools/techniques for social work with sexuality. I have described the personality of an expert, who is occupied with the sexuality of mentally disabled and ethical rules, to which he/she is obliged to follow. I have tried to compare Czech and foreign scholar literature. I have described the methods of working with sexuality in a concrete Sheltered Housing. As a research method I used the analysis of internal documents, especially Sexual report and recorded interviews. When describing social work with sexuality I have relied mainly on my own experiences. In my diploma thesis I have used my experience primarily for description of individual case study; I mentioned two most complicated examples of cooperation...
Family relationships and connections depending upon spirituality

Dissertation deals with problems of family relationships and family structures. Target of my dissertation was bringing these relations and structures near. Theoretical part sketches terms as family, its evolution, function and parentcraft. Among others also forms of work with family. In theoretical part there are also brought near terms as a marriage, divorce and partnership. Empire part of dissertation dedicates to the opinions of students of Theological faculty on the family relationships and structures in nuclear family and it also dedicates to their ideas of future common life
Polyamorous Identity: Biographies of Polyamours People

The bachelor's thesis deals with a new social phenomenon polyamory, an alternative form of a relationship, in which individuals have more relationships at the same time. The biographic study focuses on polyamory identity construction within biographic interview with participating individuals in the Czech Republic. The objective of the thesis is to present how polyamory is perceived by those who practice it in the society and culture where monogamous relationship is a standard. Based on the analysis, common features of polyamorists' biographies are presented (previous non-monogamous relationships, motives, rules). Polyamory in the present thesis is interpreted by Anthony Giddens's theoretical concept of pure relationship, too. The key part of the paper focuses on application of R. Sternberg's triangular love theory applied to polyamory and components form of passion intimacy and commitment in polyamory respondents' relationships. The thesis encompasses competence model proposal for polyamorists based on the final hypothesis which avers that polyamory is a skill/ability.
Cause Related Marketing, it's Types and Examples from the Czech Environment

The diploma thesis deals with Cause Related Marketing as the way of cooperation of a nonprofit organization and commercial company in the Czech environment. The presence of different types of Cause Related Marketing in the Czech Republic was investigated on the basis of the expert typology. My goal is not only to investigate the occurrence of these types, but also to analyze their representation and to determine which type prevails. In the empirical part I present concrete Cause Related Marketing campaigns with focus on their presentation on the websites of nonprofit organizations and their partner companies. Considering the website presentation of this cooperation I look for connections demonstrating the initiative that entities pursue during the campaign. The outcome of the diploma thesis is the research evaluation, recommendations for profit and nonprofit organizations and critical evaluation of this issue.
Mothers and fathers in communication with school

The bachelor thesis deals with the involvement of fathers and mothers in communication with the school. The first part is devoted to the theoretical knowledge of the relationship between family and school. In the introduction, we try to bring the concepts of communication and interaction, socialization. We also discusse the legislative definition of the relationship. We introduce a model, which seeks a relationships between families and schools. The last part is devoted to the knowledge in the field of gender. The second major part consists of empirical research. There are four case studies involved, the data in these studies was were obtained from interviews with teachers, pupils and their parents. Based on the analysis of these data, we find out who usually communicates with school and what factors are involved in the selection of the person representing the family involved. In the end, we made a comparison of the findings. These findings are then confronted with the current knowledge about the relationship between family and school.
How Czechs perceive homosexual partnership.

This bachelor thesis focuses on men's attitudes towards homosexuality as a correlating element in constructing a social approach to homosexuality. I focused my research on men with Czech citizenship aged 35 to 50 years. The research was applied qualitative data analysis using grounded theory modeled by A. L. Strauss and J. Corbin. In order to increase the theoretical sensitivity, which is essential for understanding the topic, I used the specialized literature focusing on gender and methodology. It was presented in the first, theoretical part. In the second part there were mentioned methodological concepts, on which the third research part is based, where the data obtained from semi-structured interview were analyzed. Research has shown that the attitudes of respondents are inconsistent; however, a significant influence on their semblance has the participation of men in masculine groups.
