Influence of compensatory mechanisms arising from violin playing using the DNS method
Hryzlíková, Eliška ; Oplatková, Lenka (advisor) ; Pelíšková, Pavlína (referee)
This thesis investigates compensatory mechanisms arising from playing the violin. It summarizes the existing literature on the topic of the influence of violin playing on the posture of violinists and proposes a compensatory exercise according to the DNS method. The theoretical part describes the "ideal" position for violin playing, the effect of ergonomic aids, kinesiology of playing, anatomy of the shoulder girdle, and finally the compensatory mechanisms stemming from holding and playing the violin while sitting and connected health problems. The experimental part presents the results of case studies of 8 non-professional violin players aged from 18 to 30 years, evaluation of their posture and musculoskeletal disorders, and the proposed compensatory exercise according to the DNS method. The anamnestic data were obtained through a survey and the health condition of the musculoskeletal system is investigated using a kinesiological examination (inspection and palpation, anthropometric measurements, and specific tests for deep stabilizing system and scapula). Inspection and palpation measurement cannot be objectively measured and therefore the obtained measurements serve only as a relative guide for the evaluation. The greatest muscle load is generally in the areas of cervical spine and shoulder...
Use of additive technologies (3d print) for the production of turbine components
Vaculka, Alexander ; Chýlek, Radomír (referee) ; Šnajdárek, Ladislav (advisor)
In the first part of my bachelor thesis I deal with types of additive manufacturing technologies. Describing principle, technological solutions, bring up some advantages and disadvantages and typical area of their usage. Following part describes chosen turbine components and their mechanical property, shapes, and manufacturing aspects. Last part compares mechanical properties of additive manufactured components with components produced in conventional ways.
Effect of targeted training of the lower scapular fixators on the shoulder girdle function of rugby players.
Přibyl, Michal ; Satrapová, Lenka (advisor) ; Reckziegelová, Petra (referee)
Thesis title: Effect of targeted training of the lower scapular fixators on the shoulder girdle function of rugby players The concept of the problem: Rugby is one of the toughest ball sports and there is no shortage of injuries. In addition, injuries in the shoulder area are among the most common and any possibility of reducing these injuries is beneficial. There is not much time left for compensation and targeted intervention; moreover, it is not usually led by physiotherapists but by fitness coaches and only in larger clubs. The consequence is a muscle imbalance in the shoulder girdle, which can result in the so-called scapular dyskinesis. This is turn affects the function and stability of the shoulder joint not only by the overhead athletes. It is possible to influence scapular dyskinesis in various ways. One of them is the inclusion of targeted training of lower scapular fixators into fitness training and thus their stability is improved. Objectives: The main aim of this thesis is to verify whether rugby players with painful shoulder have sufficiently scapular fixation based on kinesiological and biomechanical knowledge. Another aim of this thesis is to create such an exercise unit that would ensure the correct activity of the lower scapular fixators and verify this by measurement. The final...
On the milling of turbine blades
Raška, Tomáš ; Polzer, Aleš (referee) ; Píška, Miroslav (advisor)
The aim of this work is an introduction to milling of turbine blades. It is focused on description of turbines, of materials use for their manufacturing, of milling, of CAD/CAM systems, methods used to generate trajectories on complex surfaces and presentation of principal issues encountered during milling of turbine blades.
Turbine Housing of Turbocharger VNT with Separated Pulses in Exhaust Manifold
Polášek, Jan ; Doman, Jozef (referee) ; Novotný, Pavel (advisor)
This master thesis deals with the design of the turbine housing of turbocharger VNT for supplying separated pressure pulses from the exhaust manifold. Subsequently, the work includes strength analysis of the designed turbine housing. The aim of the thesis is to create components for the supply of separate pressure pulses as close as possible to the turbine. Furthermore, the modification of the existing turbine housing and the assessment of the functionality of the VNT mechanism after this modification and strength analysis. The final aim of this thesis is the creation of 2D and 3D technical documentation of newly designed and modified parts.
Physiotherapy in patiens after fracture of the proximal end of humerus solved conservatively
Melounová, Helena ; Molnár, Petr (advisor) ; Němeček, Ondřej (referee)
The theoretical part of bachelor's thesis deals with the anatomy, kinesiology and biomechanics of the shoulder girgle. The view of the general fractures andof proximal humerus is described here, thein diagnosis surgical physiotherapical treatment. The practical part includes two detailed case reports of treated patients after fracture of the proximal humerus solved conservatively. There is also a comparison of kinesiotherapeutic treatment with the regard so the type of fracture, age and the incidence of complications.
Development of ventilating turbines
Křupka, Jiří ; Malach, František (referee) ; Malášek, Jiří (advisor)
This Master thesis solves a construction development of alternative modular mechanical systems for ventilation turbines. A research part of the thesis deals with the issues of transported medium (air) and ventilation, as well as functions, designs of ventilation turbines, and finally it provides an overview of ventilation turbines produced by manufacturers worldwide; these are used for ventilation of residential, commercial, industrial or agricultural structures using the natural or hybrid ventilation. A construction - design part is focused on creating 3D models of selected alternative modular adjustable ventilation turbines according to the data provided by the thesis supervisor and then on establishing a system for calculating the shapes of blades relative to the airflow for additional axial fan of ventilation turbines. For this purpose, a customized software application VENTILATOR (GUI) was developed to allow a flexible change of input calculation parameters and thus a fast modification of the curve shape in the 3D model of the axial fan blade.
