Name: Coaching the coach in the game football The aim of the thesis: The aim of this thesis is to analyse the coaching activity of coach in two competitive matches of youth category. During the observation i would like to focus on the types of coach behaviour and his postural activity. Methodology: To achieve the goals I used the method of observation, the method of teaching interaction (ADI) and the method of audio and video recording. Results: The result of this thesis was reached and fulfilled, the research questions were answered. Thanks to this observation i can recommend some advice to another coaches. In the following, I will focus on the forms of coach behavior and postural activity. Research questions: How and in what form should the coach motivate his players in a match? What influence will the match and its result have on the coach and his postural activity in the monitored matches? How does the coach give instructions and feedback? Barriers to effective coaching in organization

This diploma thesis deals with the topic of coaching in organizations, respectively the topic of barriers to coaching in organizations that prevent its effectiveness. Firstly, the attention is paid to the definition of coaching, its basic principles, forms and specifics to other developmental methods. Further described is the use of coaching in organizations, the reasons for its implementation, its benefits and most of all the barriers that may occur. Text is based on the specialized literature and the data from qualitative research. The focus is on the perspectives of the parties that participate in the coaching process - guarantors of coaching, coaches and coachees and how these actors perceive the potential barriers to coaching, not only during the coaching process, but even before its initiation and after its completion. Leading players in a tennis match - coaching

ON- COURT COACHING IN TENIS - COACHING Objectives: The main objective of this thesis is to contribute to the topic of "on-court coaching", to find out the up-to-date experience of the tennis players and coaches, their opinion on the ideal coach and their attitude towards introduction of the on-court coaching into the tennis tournaments. Methods: We have used qualitative inquiry methods in our work. To obtain qualitative data, we have created two structured and controlled interviews. Two groups of subjects were used (players and coaches) to get two sets of results. We have deliberately chosen the subjects and then expanded results using "the snowball" mechanism. For evaluation, we assigned codes to certain sets of texts, classified them and commented on them. Some of the resulting answers were converted into relative frequency. We have analyzed acquired data to interpret the results question by question. First, we evaluated data from the "coach" group of respondents, then from the "players" group. Discussion is often part of the result interpretation. We have also frequently compared the result between the two target groups. A comparison of possibilities of using methods of internal corporate education - coaching and mentoring

This thesis examines the application of two educational methods - coaching and mentoring - in an internal corporate education system. Attention is first drawn to the concept of corporate education, while terms such as education effectiveness and procedures of actual implementation are clarified. Thereafter, both examined methods are defined and goals to achieve through these methods are presented. Both methods are then compared, with the emphasis on their similarities and differences. The thesis also examines the specific situations in which it is appropriate to use either coaching or mentoring as part of company staff development. In the empirical part of the thesis, a cross-company survey is presented, researching an own approach to use of examined methods. The goal of thesis is identify coaching and practical experience in the workplace. Base of the thesis is on coaching as a method of increasing work efficiency. Subsequent study focus on the specific workplace where is already practice coaching. Thesis is divided in two parts. The theoretical part defines the terms coaching, coach and team coaching, wich are used in practical part. Practical part is consist of data obtain on basis of survey in specific workplace and transcription of coach interview based on which evaluated the effectiveness of coaching.
The Importance of a Coaching for a Leadership

The thesis on The Importance of Coaching for Leadership consists of the theoretical and the practical parts. The first part contains the explanation of basic concepts of management, leadership and specifies leadership styles and the personality of a manager. Furthermore, this part deals with the motivation and its influence on the action of people. The important part of the thesis is the chapter about coaching, which is focused on the history of coaching. The part deals with the concept and key elements of coaching, the relationship between a coach and a person who is coached and it also mentiones what is not coaching. The practical part consists of the evaluation of the questionnaire survey, whose goal was to discover if the managers of the monitored organisation are aware of coaching and if they are able to use it while managing their subordinates. Suggestions and recommendations for the improvement of the use of coaching for the leaderships the monitored organization are based on these surveys conclusions.
Criteria for the coaches´ selection in terms of coaching companies

This thesis aims to find out what are the criteria for selecting coaches into coaching companies. The thesis is divided into two parts, the theoretical and the practical. The theoretical part is devoted to the understanding of the topic. This part explains the concept of coaching and its definition and introduces several methods and forms of coaching. Some types of professional coaching such as life coaching, executive coaching as well as approaches to coaching approaches are also described in this part of the thesis. Attention is also paid to the professional coaching organizations and characteristics of the coach his/her personality and competencies. Strong emphasis is given to the accreditation of coaches and accredited training courses for coaches. The practical part is focused on quantitative research. Research is carried out by means of a questionnaire which was sent to competent persons in coaching companies. This part of the thesis presents the results of the investigation, the main aspects of the research being the preferred criteria set by coaching companies to select their coaches. Furthermore, the influence of these criteria on the current situation was investigated, including the coaching skills of coaches and comparison of the coaching skills of Czech and foreign coaches. The above mentioned research revealed that coaching companies consider mainly practice, education and possibly accredited certification as the most important criteria when selecting coaches.

ABSTRACT Kratochvílová, V. Bc. "Coaching as a way of keeping people in a selected company". Diploma thesis. Brno, 2015. The diploma thesis is focused on using coaching as a method of (management style) in the chosen company. The aim is to determine how often and in what form is used coaching as a participatory method of management in selected company. The first part in the form of a literature review deals with the definition of management styles, their characteristics, defining governance levels represented by management and currently represents the main aspects of coaching. It defines basic concepts connected with this issue, defines coaching to other management styles, describes the role of coach or manager in the role of coach, types of coaching and typical situations when it is appropriate to use coaching. The practical part is developed mixed design research, which is focused on the use of management styles by managers and subordinates in the company. Selected methods for data analysis was a questionnaire survey and interviews, whose results are interpreted, discussed and correspond to the selected research questions.
