Diploma thesis deals with motivation and evaluation of employees in VIA ALTA, Public Limited Company. The first part analyzes concepts and theoretical knowledge of the issue which are important to next step. The analytic part focuses on the company, describes functioning system of motivation, remuneration and evaluation of employees. Also, the results of survey are interpreted and assessed in the second part of the thesis. In the third part, there are presented possible proposals and thoughts to improve level of motivation and evaluation of employees in the company.

The subject of the diploma thesis is the motivation, and evaluation of employees in a particular enterprise. Theoretical part is focused on the description of the theoretical knowledge, which I use in the practical part. In practical part I am going to do analysis, which I will focuse on motivation and evaluation, so I will be able to evaluate current status of company. The conclusion includes suggestions that I recommend to improve the current system of remuneration in the company.

Proposal for Changes of Human Resource Management in a Company

The thesis is focused on human resources management and particular activities of the human resources process. The first part of the thesis deals with theoretical starting points, by defining basic concepts and specific HR activities. In the empirical part of the thesis, quantitative research was conducted across the international companies in the B2B market and simultaneously they have the performance of their activities in the territory of the Czech Republic. Then a case study of the selected company was conducted and proposals for improvement in the sub-areas of human resources activities were formulated based on identified problem areas. Furthermore, recommendations for improvement in the field of individual human resources activities are suggested.

Motivation System of the Company

The diploma thesis focuses on motivation system in a selected company. The thesis is divided into three parts. The first part focuses on theoretical knowledge that helps to understand the topic. There is description of the motivation, employee evaluation, recognition and rewarding employees, employee benefits and work atmosphere. The second part is a brief description of the selected company and the characteristics of the current motivational system in the company. In the main part there are the results of the analysis based on a questionnaire survey and the results of hypothesis testing. The last part contains suggestions for improving the motivation system which were determined on the basis of analysis and hypotheses.

This thesis contains suggestions of systemic changes in education development management and suggests methods of its implementation with feedback, which will efficiently help to professionalize employees.
