Second part of this work contains present conditions in the company which is background for my own solution. The last section contains the recommended proposal for improving the current system of evaluating and rewarding.

This thesis deals with questions of the evaluation systems and system of paying employees XY. The theoretical part is focused on job evaluation, salary structure, remuneration and benefits. The practical part includes the analysis of the payroll system which is supplemented by my own observations and opinions of employees. Furthermore, the analysis of competition and labour market has been performed. The last section deals with a proposal of changes in the evaluation and reward system aimed at increasing labour productivity.

It contains theory from area of rating and rewarding workers and benefits of employee as well. The object of the bachelor thesis is analysis of employee evaluation in production and technical economic departments in ELKO EP, Ltd. Based on facts, the work is proposing possible improvements of the existing employee evaluation system in production, as well as suggesting a new evaluation system for technical economic employees. The new evaluation system would reduce expenditures of company wages funds, being at the same time motivation stimulus for company employees.
